Emryc was well aware of the eyes that were suddenly on him, civilians cheering as they saw their President in the fray with them. The soldiers were more inspired than ever, though the droids marched with coded purposes. He much preferred the latter than the whims of motivation making or breaking a military combatant.
As the military forces marched forth, Emryc began to notice a significant slowdown in progress. The bugs began to congregate right before his forces to engage. The half Sephi observed this for a while before deciding he had little patience for this. His gaze flicked up as he saw what appeared to be some sort of massive dragon spill into the scene. Emryc turned towards one of several artillery droids, “Target the dragon’s underbelly,” He commanded two of the droids to fire their missiles at the beast.
The droid soldiers on the ground continued their assault through the waves of Killik on the ground to advance forth and join the others gathered on the street. Emryc had been at a diplomatic conference earlier, and he was certainly not dressed for battle. Nevertheless, he calmly removed his suit jacket, revealing a dress shirt and slack combo with a chrono on his wrist. He stared ahead as he rolled up his sleeves and cuffed them.
“Mr. President please-” The commander standing next to him began. The rest of his words died away thanks to a scalding look from the half Sephi.
Without a word, Emryc Thorne jumped down from his vehicle with a heavy thud right into the street. He walked towards one of the droids, snatching from it a vibro mace. Activating it, the half Sephi began to make his way into the crowd of Killik, using brute force in an attempt to bludgeon the bugs with all his might. At this point, he hardly needed to use the Force, his massive frame and sheer power enough to pummel and crush anything he hit. At almost seven feet tall, he was taller than or similar to height to most of his enemies. His goal was to send the bugs flying in various directions and help expedite cutting a path through the waves. He stood out like a sore thumb in his civilian attire amidst the droids and soldiers surrounding him.
The half Sephi’s chilling calm may have been almost unsettling to anyone observing, but in truth he wanted the Killik to attempt to engage his mind. He knew the protective barriers of his mind and he knew the backlash anyone attempting to penetrate his thoughts would face. He knew how appealing he was to the hivemind - it was secret only between him and them. But they didn’t know just how devastating trying to break him would be.
