BIOGRAPHY

Vara Dramm was born in the Nar Shaddaa undercity, and like most on the planet, lived in poverty for much of her youth. Vara was born the bastard daughter of a traveling spice smuggler and a Nar Shaddaa local, and as a result, never got to know her father. At a young age, Vara took an interest in technology, eventually finding work under the table as a droid technician's apprentice. There, she learned how droids worked, which eventually lead her down a path that would introduce her to slicing. Interacting with slicer circles in the undercity landed her a few small jobs, where she gained slight notoriety for her skills, and knack for predicting when something is about to go wrong. Unbeknownst to her, she had a slight attunement with the Force.

APPEARANCE

Vara stands at a relatively average height of 5'9, and has a relatively average build. Living in the Nar Shaddaa underworld, Vera has a pale complexion from the limited to daylight that the planet's infrastructure provides. On most occasions, Vara will be seen in commoner clothing and often has her hair unkempt.

PERSONALITY

Close associates of Vara would describe her as 'the kindest thief you'd meet'. Vara is often lighthearted and seems genuinely concerned with the well-being of others. Vara is often inquisitive, and always looking for an answer. When there is no question, you'll often find her looking for a question instead. At times, she is cocky with her skills and will not hesitate to attempt to one-up someone she feels is competing with her.

Multilingual - Vara grew up on Nar Shaddaa and is fluent in Galactic Basic, Huttese, and Binary.

Scoundrel Storylines
Goal: Vara has spent her entire life on Nar Shaddaa. Chance encounters provide her opportunities to travel to other planets in and near Hutt Space, allowing her to work towards her two goals: Advance within the Syndicates and Investigate the nature of Force sensitives.

• Getting Started:
  1. On The Fence - Completed - While escaping local authorities, Vara has her first encounter with a force sensitive, the Jedi Ember, which leaves her wondering about her own path she is traveling down.
  2. Thweezy Money - Incomplete- Vara continues her slicer antics on the Smuggler's Moon, coming in contact with another individual who may give her a run for her money.
  3. A New Start - Completed - Taking the Jedi's suggestion, Vara is given an opportunity to travel to Tatooine to work out a deal with local Jawas. During this time, she gets swept up helping two force sensitives out, Jedi Oren Zapan, and a mysterious woman named Syrin Voss.
  4. Burning Credits and Rust - In Progress - Having just returned from her trip to Tatooine, Vara catches word of a party and decides to go out.
  5. Slicer's Paradise - Incomplete - Curious to meet other slicers on Nar Shaddaa, Vara sends out a challenge across the holonet to see if any other slicers are able to crack her series of puzzles and challenges.
  6. Help Wanted - In Progress - Vara helps her employer, Drakkett, track down a lost shipment

  1. Tattletales Are Bad - Completed - Vara gets wind of a contract that may help her and her two companions, Orys and Jaçelle get in the good graces of the Five Syndicates.
  2. O Brother, Where Art Thou? - In Progress - Using the information provided by Orys' contact, the trio begins to search for an elusive Sector Ranger who may be their next step in finding their target.
