My char was in the forest edge so I'm just trying to think how they could survive the firey can o death that just dropped on em. :P At least, survived in a way that doesn't involve losing all their skin.

I approve of the tactic I suppose, I just figured with the hour break in battle after the bombing, most of the rebels would have fled deep into the woods, requring the whole forest and swamp thread that was discussed earlier.

Old salty sailor of the USN told me that after bombing some base during a training exersize that only a out house survived. So so have a tree fall on your Fox hole sparing you the worst.

Bronitarian, it wasn't really an hour's break, it was just an expression; that the silence seemed like it lasted for an hour. Just a couple of seconds in reality. :D But PC characters surviving shouldn't be a problem. I would say that your character sought shelter in a small spring of water, or under a large rock or fallen over tree, or something - maybe even i the remnants of the ship that landed there earlier and got blown up. :D

I would be game with this. Jaron can be all battered and shit, and still go like over radio with Major Scryer; "Requesting permission to form a group and go save our people". It'll be badass.

Edit: It might be perfect, even, for Jaron as I was planning on having him get captured by rebels. This might be the perfect opportunity for that.

Okay. Just didn't want to make a post that was, like, overstepping into mary sue territory. I'll probably have them use a tree and a force push to survive or whatever.
