Just to note, if you guys want me to NPC more of the Rebel stuff, say so. I've been trying to keep things more limited since the Rebels should realistically be losing this engagement for the time being, and allow other players to do their own thing if they want to hop in. But if you guys want more stuff to try to explode, I'm happy to oblige.

Moar like the Rebels are stomping ass. What the shit guys? Poor Liv is trying is best here, but I'm still getting the feeling of the Rebellion is whupping. Maybe it's Frank.

Frank!

For serious, we need more people on the Imperial side, yeah? I'll see if I can drum someone up.

Just so it's here too (as per Skype recommendation) my fight with Hishamori has run into a speed bump. I'm contending the validity of her using Barrier to repel my Force Choke (to make it short, the problem can be clearly seen in the posts). I have reported the post too, so I'd rather not have a bunch of people arguing one side or another (unless it's my side har har). Don't want to clutter the thread. Just want to give admins an easy place to post rulings and junk.

That's only because the character is really bombastic

For serious though, with what's happened it seems like the Imperials are gaining the upper hand. Which makes sense with the overall strategy the RSF/Rebels were having, trying to swarm the landing position, only really able to do so because of the Quasar, and now that that might be gone, retreating and trying to not all get killed as things start really going downhill for them.

At least that's how I've been trying to play things, lemme know if it's too much and I'll tone up RSF/Rebel losses in my next posts.

The Imps got three or four guys, and I'm all alone, so I don't think they need more doods :9:

The Quasar is a nice ship and all but it is not long for the world, I will take her down even if I have to go down with her. After that is done all those imperial fighters and my ship plus escorts will turn the tide. See how the like being bombed.

I like to think the rebels haven't made much progress battle wise. We've held them from getting into the woods, but that's about it. Keep getting slaughtered once they leave the treeline it seems, unless your on a speeder of course. XD

Yeah and even then we're getting beaten up pretty bad. We get a few more rockets, or say an AT-AT turning on us...:9:

How about using the Imperium's weapon against them? You can lead them to the woods, and you can say that traps were set up a few days before the Battle of Naboo began, and you can use that against them. Isn't that what happened in ROTJ?

Nahh that seems kinda unfair. If there were traps I should have mentioned them in the first post. At this point though it's still a question of if we make it back to the woods before Liv's pincer envelopes us or anything big opens fire on us.

I wouldn't dream of crushing all of you guys with the pincer. XD I figured I'd write in my next post that maybe roughly half of the rebels either fell for the feint, or didn't clear it in time, and gets caught and taken out, and the rest make it to the woods. That way, the Empire has still achieved its initial goal of securing the assault zone.

If everybody's a-ok with that, of course.

But! It would be boring if that's the end of it, so we should throw around some ideas on how to continue it. I guess we can have some of the Imp forces take up the pursuit of the rebels while the rest make for Theed?

Once your in the woods, the rebel commandos can go full Rambo First Blood on the imps. :P

But probably not, cause we'll all run away or die. Yeah...totally that... :33:

Well I was personally thinking it should be mostly on the plains (it being Battle of Naboo: The Grassy Plains after all) and we could have the Rebels getting caught, circling the metaphorical wagons, steadily shrinking until those mysterious reinforcements arrive, but if y'all want it to head to the forest I'm cool with that.

I like the wagon wheel. How about a crashed ship to fight over.

No idea personally. I just know that forests, and swamps, were both mentioned. And I really want some cool gurellia warfare to go down.

Also to Headastator. If your reading this, I'm leaving the results of Jahairal's spray and pray to you. You can have em all miss or get deflected if you want. I'm cool with it. Sorry for targeting your char, hope your okay with it.

Good to have you join us, Silver. It does a lot to have somebody high-ranking to PC-lead the whole ground operation.

Edit; Sorry, forgot to mention, by way of my post, depending on what Scryer says, we can do both of the former suggestions; circle the wagons, and run to the hills. :D

Edit 2; Oh, and one more thing. Sorry for only briefly mentioning the arrival of the rebs to the trenches, guys. I felt it got to be too much in one post to deal with. Hope that's a-ok, Branok. :D

All I'll be doing is representing the chain of command, I'll have no actual impact on the battle beyond feeding reinforcements in for the Rebs to shoot.

Of course. Nonetheless, it's good to have someone represent said chain-of-command. I'll have Jaron do some on-the-ground commanding and maneuver some of the operations. I might even make an excuse and say that whoever was in charge of the ground ops got wasted. :9:
