Other than the rebel light cruiser that is a big Mobile AA battery.

I thought that flew away when the imperials got air superiority. Like, around page 4 it hightailed it outta there, and then half the rebels got surrounded, then the firebomb.

Its last move was it attacking me with blind fire well closing in to visual range so it could try and kill me. It can not use guided weapons on my gunship. I am flying above the forest since it can not fire on me with out risk of a Blue on Blue.

Right now I would rate the sky's as neutral with a slight edge in fighters to the Imperials but the rebels have a capital ship and there fighters are better at Air to ground since a proton torpedo would one shot any Imperial landing ship of AFV.

Based on this we can say a turbo laser spread is high and in the last example they target the engines and missed the ship all together, combined with high rate of fire, the Imperail are just as lucky that Green ranger nullified the orbital strike. a 10 second barrage from the far orbit the imp fleet is sitting at would kill more storm troopers than rebels

I think my post in response to yours pretty well covers what the response would be to Silver, and people seem to have run with that, so whenever you guys are ready to push towards the forest we're good to go. Also Branok, in case you didn't see it the whole orbital bombardment thing kinda got nixed, so we're still there. I'd reckon we're still rather close to the plains, just beyond the area that was burned out. And I don't really see a point in making a new thread for the forest fight, the plains one has pretty naturally evolved, and it'd just disrupt what we've got going, I think.

I'm also going to stage a crashed Imperial aircraft as an excuse for those Imps of us interested in doing so, to go and rescue in another thread, either the swamp thread to come, or a free-standing one. How's that sound? :D

It sounds like you guys have it covered, but an alternative could also be for you guys to jump into the same thread, and seek to rejoin with rebel forces. We could turn it around and have it so that while ours are trying to scramble to the crash site and help our people, this time the rebels would have the superior numbers.

Yeah, you might be right. I wanted to do a new thread since we'll be moving away from the plains and into the woods, but I guess with the battle being over there's no harm in keeping it going here.

So with my next post, I'll end the besiegement, and also get permission for Jaron to look for volunteers to go after a downed Imp gunship that needs relieving in what is probably rebel territory. You and the other rebs can head into the forest too in an effort to link up with the rest of the rebels, so in time you guys get to enjoy superior numbers instead. :D
