I agree with Hakim. Some restrictions should be imposed, but it should probably vary from battle to battle; if a Jedi is going to fight a non-Force-sensitive who only has a blaster, then they should be given a vibroblade and not a lightsaber.

Also, although I'm devising a character who would probably be really fun for me to duel as (he has a shitload of weapons), I'll still be using Aquamarine. She's less powerplayish. :P

Oh and also, might I suggest placing restrictions on power armor? It'd hardly be fair of people like myself to join with godly space-marine type characters... =P
And yes Nevermore, this means I will likely just join with Dalang or one of my other non-fuzzy-space-marine characters.

I still am firmly of the opinion that as long as nobody godmods, the victor will be the better RPer, irrelevant of gear. So the rule about any specific gear they have having to be either in the character's profile or the first post of the thread will probably stick, as long as their gear is within reason. No super shields or full body armour of cortosis etc.

Another tournament could be fun, provided it doesn't go the way of every other tournament before it... and just randomly die.

I think a move back to the old 48hours to post or you lose rules would be better. The more lenient warning system was too lenient on slow posting.

The warning system will probably be updated. I think more 1 strike then your out, rather than a straight disqualification, rather than 2 strikes, this time, is probably what I'll implement.
