16 people are required. We could do it with 8, but we never get only eight people wanting to do it. If there are a few more than 16 a bye system could potentially be implemented, or we coul stick with the qualifying rounds, but generally speaking it's only ever one or two more people than the 16 that enter and they're not always that bothered about being a part of it.

That's really just preposterous. No one except you and maybe a few others would enter a tournament where you permanently destroyed the other players; that's just rude, really, and nasty. Plus you'd probably be beaten in the process.

Kinda funny considering that is how your last character you have is going to end up as very soon.

And I think these tournaments are usualy non-canon in the RP unless they are stated otherwise.
