Jedi Temple, Ajan Kloss
So after he had finished his day's routine he had run off to take a quick shower, grab a bite, and make his way to one of the courtyards, where he was told a gathering might be happening later in the day. Ajan Kloss had something of a pest problem, and every now and then padawans and young knights were sent out to clear out the forest surrounding the Temple so that the younglings were not at risk. He wasn't sure what the pests were, but he did know that it was supposed to be as much a test as a chore, for the Jedi were not allowed to kill the wildlife under any circumstances.
If he wasn't mistaken the gathering was a briefing of sorts, to prepare everyone before they headed out, while also giving them an opportunity to get to know each other before facing the trials that waited them. He wasn't even sure he would be allowed to go out on the hunt, but he had been told everyone was welcome to the gathering. There are no limitations to camaraderie, the Jedi Master had said. He was still having trouble keeping track of names, Ted Morning or something they were called.
But here he was, walking into the courtyard, already a handful of Jedi present there before him. He paused for a moment to take it all in, an old habit he had picked up on the battlefield, always know your surroundings. Pushing away those thoughts, he let out a breath and moved towards them.
"Smile and introduce yourself," he said to himself as he moved, "that's all there is to it."
