BIOGRAPHY
Sovem was born on the planet Onderon. He never knew his parents, though he was told they were killed in a hunting accident outside Iziz. Iziz was where he spent the early parts of his childhood, learning how to be an orphan and street urchin. He begged, stole, foraged for scraps, everything he could to get by. Life was tough, but he kept trying and living.
He was eight years old when a Jedi Knight found him. Rather, Sovem found the Jedi. One doesn’t simply walk into Iziz with a shiny cylinder on their hip without Sovem knowing and trying to steal it. Sovem failed in the stealing, but the Jedi didn’t kill him or chase him off, but offered him kindness. There were many small examples of kindness in Sovem’s life, but most were from him begging or swindling; never before had he been caught red handed trying to steal something and for them to offer him meals and comforts.
By the end of a fortnight, Sovem was traveling around with the Jedi as his student. From world to world, the Jedi Knight began teaching Sovem the ways of the Force and how to fight with a lightsaber. Because of the traveling nature of the pair, Sovem never had a training lightsaber but was given a vibrosword by his teacher. The life of a Jedi was one of peace, his master would say, but that did not mean danger never found them.
It was when Sovem had become a teenager that his teacher took him to the jungle world of Ajan Kloss, and told him that with the basic learned, he would be ready to start more daring trials. Sovem protested, thinking his master to be the only one who could teach him. He was scared, and immediately felt lonely. His teacher assured him and left Sovem with the Jedi Temple.
Sovem spent years at the temple, regarding his time abroad as some of the best points of his life, but happy that he learns something new everyday. He practiced his swordsmanship, keeping his vibrosword instead of the training lightsabers most of the Padawans had. When it came to sparring he would pick up a training saber, but his vibrosword was always on his back.
His new life had brought him from a street urchin orphan to a Jedi Padawan. He was ready to take it even further and find his true destiny.

PERSONALITY
Sovem’s personality is one that by appearance would seem chaotic good but under the surface is actually neutral good. He puts on a front of sarcasm and wit, but he truly wishes to help people. His time as a street urchin on Onderon taught him what the worst could be like, and his time with his traveling teacher taught him how to help such people. Where there are people in need, that is where he believes he needs to be. When something needs to be done, he prefers action to conversation which has gotten him in a bit of trouble on more than one occasion.
ABILITIES AND EQUIPMENT
Sovem’s physical shape could be described as that of a young warrior or swordsman. He is fit and some would even consider him strong, despite his smaller stature. His true strength lies in the Force. Sovem’s force abilities are very basic. He can move objects around, manipulate weak minds, and sense where other Force sensitives are. His true focus on the Force, however, is augmenting his own body. Speed, agility, and strength- using the force to enhance his own physical being.
Sovem’s equipment consists of varying colored Jedi robes and his Vibrosword. His belt will usually hold a comlink and holoprojector for long range communication.
