While I may not agree with all of what Trump is saying, I do believe that his unconventional ways may be what it takes to dig America out of the hole we're in right now. Let's face it, as a country America is, to put it mildly, a mess. It will take unconventional means, to quote Trumps slogan, to make America great again.

Anyone, but Feel the Bern is getting my vote. While I'm not the biggest supporter of Hillary, I might have to vote her for President if it comes down to her vs Trump or Cruz.

While, Kasich might say some off beat things, he's been a pretty good Governor to Ohio and he would get my vote no doubt, but he's not going to make it to nomination I'm afraid.

see I disagree with ya there as him in politics is not the right option. He is nut job to say it nicely and he views America as a business instead of a country. I see people's views but Scotland thinks he is scum and even petitions (which I have signed) want him to be BANNED from Scotland because of his views. The only things he might have an idea is on is immigration but other than that, he offers nothing for the rest of presidency. The things he says to other candidates is repulsive and disgusting. Would you really want a president with a foul mouth. He views presidency as expanding his empire or perhaps a TV role since he cant take it seriously.

If being unconventional is the only qualifier to be a good president let's just cut out the middleman and elect Dennis Rodman. He's more unconventional than Trump could ever dream to be.

All I'm saying is that unconventional may be what it takes. I'm not saying he's the right man for the job, but rather conventional ways have put America into a deep hole, and something unconventional may be what it takes to dig ourselves out, or dig ourselves in deeper... It could go either way...

Congress is extremely important to changing the way America operates, if you want to see changes it's your most important duty as an American to vote for your Senators and Congressman who actually draft and pass laws--while the president is important, they can only do so much by themseleves.

Donald Trump is not going to be able to pass a legislative agenda because, so far, he doesn't have a legislative agenda beyond "build a wall!" and "WINNING!" Even if he is elected, there's a decent chance the Democrats will take the Senate, ensuring that nothing gets passed. So all you're left with is a buffoon of a president who makes America look like morons around the world and can only do more harm than...whatever "good" can be defined as in a world where Donald Trump is president.

If you want an idea of what President Trump could be like, look up this name: Silvio Berlusconi.

What i'm somewhat hoping for is a run between Bernie and Trump, or Bernie and Cruz. Cruz and Trump are so polarizing, even a socialist like Bernie will have a fighting chance.

Bernie Sanders isn't a socialist. He's not even a democratic socialist. He's more of a social democrat, who for whatever reason sometimes call themselves democratic socialists.
Exactly, I used to be an extremely far left member of the deomcratic socialist movement when I was in Highschool and the early part of College. While Bernie is pretty far left for the average democrat, he's no where near what some of used to talk about.

That's true. Still, would most Americans make that distinction when he's proposing Free healthcare and Free tuition?

God forbid something like education be venerated as something everyone has a right to and not a money hungry greed machine.

There is a multitude of reasons for why the tuition has soared. Greed, Sport Costs, tenure, and excess bureaucracy that plagues most campuses. And to get to outlander's point, that does seem very socialistic to American's, and in some ways it is.

The biggest problem is that Sanders hasn't actually given any concrete reasoning to how he would do this. Would the government completely run healthcare/universities (which a true socialist would do), or just pass and tax the rich even more--which my memory has just recalled is his plan. It could certainly lower prices if taxes were raised on the wealthier, but I'm somewhat curious on the percentage of tax dollars that are wasted every year.

In conclusion anyone that claims they're a democratic socialist, but don't support decentralized economic planning (think stalin) or socially owned enterprises, might want to rethink what Sanders and theirselves are saying.

In some regards, I kind of find it a bit insulting that a lot of my peers are throwing the term around without much thought on what it is, I remember getting blasted for being one back in the day, and while my extremism has cooled completely (I'm now a moderate, hold both Liberal and conservative viewpoints) I feel like people are just jumping onto it because it's the new buzzword.

Given the perpetual mess we've been in for an undefinable number of years, how can any candidate out there make us great (even if that can't be quantified)? This is rhetorical mostly.
