So many beings flooded the area as they moved about their business, calm albeit hurried. It was a good example of order, balance, a state of homeostasis in which the inhabitants have found without necessarily speaking or planning ahead of time. It was a standard that was understood by anyone who frequented the station, a set of unwritten rules that made this place effective and even vulnerable. The elevated maglev trains came and left on schedule, perhaps some ran a few minutes behind but everything tended to run smoothly; it could be better as it could be frequently overhead by those who were running behind or wanted to be someplace early. The effort for a more perfected order...

That of course charmed the young Sith Marauder.

It was this state of order and homeostasis that would be the fall of those at this station today and mask the Sith's presence until the right moment. Balance came at a cost, and in places like these, there was not much flexibility without dipping into intense emotion leading to an overall shift for a re-balance, but that would take time, even more so when beings did not feel their safety could be guaranteed. That was not her purpose, today of course was something to at least remind the Free Worlds Alliance and Jedi that the Sith were still very present. Maeve had decided their own leaders were unreliable and directionless. Some of the other Sith have felt similar, even called for conversation on Moraband. Maeve saw no purpose in such things when it was action that was required, they were certainly not Jedi who sat around and then decide to do things. Their part in this galaxy would be something far greater than any prophet would ever imagine, but first the people needed to be stirred. An open invitation was sent out to her fellow dark brethren in a save-the-date fashion.

Maeve stood among the morning rush crowd, blending in as a weathered traveler, her dark robes did not seem to draw in attention as she kept to herself, the Force may had have some part to play. As the people left the train and others hurried on, Maeve joined, but exited immediately, leaving behind a simple spherical device. She watched as the door closed, those onboard neverminding the robed traveler as she stood on the platform once more, entirely focused on everything but what will happen in the next few moments as the maglev trained carried them away from the platform.

There was a sliver of panic and fear that pressed into the Force before the thermal detonator expired. The explosive shook the station, blowing a hole in the side of the train and damaged the track enough to leave the cars tilting off the edge of the track. Where Maeve stood, there was a moment of disbelief and confusion, stunned and shocked by the event that just occurred. As onlookers rushed to one corner of the platform, Maeve removed her hood, her masked face now visible as the woman ignited her red plasma blade.

Happy days were certainly ahead.

I was happy for the invitation, this was what the Sith needed. Something to draw attention and remind the galaxy what was power, and how the galaxy truly was. Far beyond the safe core worlds, the outer rim and wild space was filled of days were people felt fear till their demise. That was how the rest of the people of the galaxy lived and it was time that we gave these people a taste of it. Whatever defenses they would find will be cut down, this wasn't a occupation but rather a act of terror. We would be given the title of terrorist and villains and we will smile all the same, as we gained the one thing that all Sith need to win, fear. This was but a taste of the future battles to come hopefully, for now though I enjoyed the peace the people had in the shopping mall.

A cruel smile grew as I realized that these people would be enjoying this for the last time. These people had no clue of the horror of tonight but that was the sweet thing about it. I watched a kid lose his ball that landed by my feet. The parent telling the kid to stop but apparently her child had gone deaf for he paid no heed to it. Picking it up, maybe it was the motherly instinct that made her react as she did but after handing it to the kid, who thanked me no less the mother quickly snatched her child and walked off. Or it could have been because I was wearing old weather cloak and hood, definitely not a welcomed site for any parent.

I waited for the explosion that Maeve had set, I wanted to see where the people blinded by peace and weaken by kindness did when these lies were ripped away from them. I felt some security guards approach my presence could have been ignored for only so long and as the two men approached I turn to face them with a lightsaber in hand. Their faces went white, just before the wave throw them to the ground.

I braced myself with the Force, anchoring myself so not to be thrown off. The yelling was drowned out but I could hear a few voices, crying, praying and releasing their final breath. My red blade ignited and a new mask was put over my face. I walked forward and a single slash took two more lives, now I waited in the heart of the fear and pain. Letting it wash over me, the dark side being pleased. Now it would be up to the defends of this lie of peace and order to come and try and reestablish order.

The call to Coruscant was taken with a great degree of passion and joy by Malleus. It seemed more among their ranks shared the opinion of the Moraband group and wanted to take action more abruptly and directly. He had not yet met Maeve, the one who summoned them there, but the plan was simple and easy to understand and even more importantly it was effective.

Making his way through the Coruscant streets the hulking Zabrak kept his head down, hood over his head and trying to hide his re breather and face as to not attract any more attention since his size already garnered him a good amount of looks. He felt the calmness and mundanes from the beings around him slowly twist as if there was something yanking on it from both sides. When he finally got to the designated location he saw a hooded individual walk out of one of the trains, there was no doubt about it - that was one of their own, the strong Dark Side presence with the girl made it clear.

Not a moment passed before a huge blast destroyed a good part of the train and the calmness and peace around was shattered, it's pieces rearanging into a chaotic sense of fear and panic as the people ran around, stumbled to get to their feet and screamed in terror.
He noticed the woman that walked out of the train remove her hood as she ignited her lightsaber and his attention was turned to his right side seconds after... Another one of their own lay in waiting, he too made his presence known cutting down people that were around him with a couple of fast crimson flashes.

''Rakim...'' the thought passed through the Zabrak's mind, noticing the man before he branded his new mask. The panic and fear caused by the initial explosion just erupted even more as the crowd noticed the two red blades among them probably coming to the realization that this wasn't just some horrible accident but a full on terrorist attack.

The giant hooded figure stood unmoved as the crowd was thumbling around him. But before he decided to start cutting down civilians another group of Coruscant security came rushing into the station. Their headgear might have concealed their faces but Malleus felt it quite clearly through the Force that these men were just as scared and shocked as the bickering civilians around him.

He reached for his saber, drawing it before him in a slashing flash of crimson as he immediately ignites the blade. Just the action of ignition cut through the two civilians next to him and they collapsed to the ground. Raising his saber over his head with his right hand he lunged towards the group of security guards with an overhead cleave, as if he was wielding an axe.

The strike cut through the first man's head and before the others properly turned to realize what has transpired they were met two swift slashes to their torsos, only seeing a crimson light flashing before them before they fell to the ground. The last guard tried to charge Malleus with his electrostaff but the man was severely outmatched as the large Sith simply deflected his weapon before smoothly transitioning into a slashing strike to his chest.

Today was a good day for a hunt. Shor heard the call to attack from yet another Sith he had not previously met nor cared about, but had quickly agreed to the plan as it was laid out. As usual, the massive wookiee had joined up eagerly to engage in the kind of relentless bloodshed he most enjoyed. The only true downside would be the lack of a real challenge. Cutting down civilians and civic guards would pose no challenge to the wookiee warrior, but he had agreed in the hopes it would draw in a real fight. The dead and dying civilians weren't the hunt, as such, but the bait as far as Shor was concerned.

He was garbed in his concealing armor, it itself covered in a vast robe to avoid overly spooking the many little meat creatures wandering about. He sat stoically on an out of the way bench, arms crossed, figure completely covered by the voluminous cloak. His belt pouches were filled with a mix of handheld det charges and grenades, his explosive expertise something that would doubtless prove a welcome addition to the chaos. He had already set up some in random out of the way places, though the two thermal detonators he held in his gloved fist beneath his cloak were reserved for the main entrance by the bench he was seated on.

Before too long a robed figure he recognized by aura emerged from a tram. A detonation rocked the transport and panic took over the busy crowds as the figure and two others ignited crimson blades and began to cut them down with extreme prejudice. As the panicking crowds piled in toward the main exit Shor stood up to his full height, robe and cloak falling away to reveal his armor. His mask had already been shown quite visibly during the attack on the Corellian Ranger station, and it was doubtless it would be recognized this time as well.

Without hesitation he drew his lightsaber and threw both armed detonators down the exit hall into the crowd. He ignited and extended his lightsaber blade to its maximum of two meters, swinging it through the dense crowd with immense strength and a furious roar that drowned out the panicked screams near him. He left piles of limbs and bodies around him, a massive plasma-wielding thresher that cut down the hapless sentients around him as if they were little more than stalks of grain. The dense and panicked crowds could not avoid him, and before his overwhelming strength mere flesh and bone could provided little resistance to the weapon of a Sith.

His violent assault and those of the others pushed the civilians further toward the exit, overcrowding it and stalling their escape. Luckily, their struggle and fear would not last long after as the two thermal detonators went off and ended their pitiful lives. The entrance way half-collapsed in the aftermath, clogged with bodies and debris, while Shor drew his blaster and began firing at any who presented themselves. His lightsaber struck out at any who came within reach, but he had chosen his place intentionally. None would escape through the main entrance, and none could enter through it without first encountering Shor himself. If there was a real fight to be had, the wookiee warrior was more than ready to oblige and add new hides to his collection.

Lucien pushed the body of the man off of him causing other rubble and debris to come off his formerly immaculate outfit. The man coughed and stood up a little shakily, climbing towards the part of the train car that was elevated. Others groaned and struggled to get out of their seat belts.

The Morganian could have sworn he felt the edges of his right eyebrows disintegrate. The Lucien only had a momentary warning since the train had been moving quickly. He could only have described it as the scent of slaughter. Looking around at the innocent civilians who had been less lucky, it was clear why the man had felt the premonition.

Coming to the bent segment of the train car where he could now see the nearby platform. On it he could see several figures and recognized them for what they were right away even if he hadn't been watching all the news. He leapt from the train's stationary point onto the platform with a roll just to get off of the damaged vehicle.

The violence had only just begun as bodies fell from the Sith in the station cutting down person after person. Terror washed over him from the entrance of the Maglev station. Lucien's day had become a whole lot more exciting. With a dash, he moved to get into cover and remain out of sight from the Sith. What a waste

Huh.

Terrorism with actual explosions rather than executions over a video screen. It wasn't a stretch to say that he'd hardly be able to say he missed either type and the people conducted it dying would be a great boon for society in general. He had been, honestly, thinking about leaving the planet and heading out as a mercenary.

Holding himself back from wanting to kill people was a dangerous game and he knew he was likely going to fail at least once. If he was a mercenary then it would be expected and no one would really care if he failed. He would care that he'd failed to live without wanting to kill.

But terrorists?

Sith terrorists?

Killing one of them wouldn't make him feel regret over breaking his new rules, it would likely make him smile. So instead of heading out of there he ducked around a corner and steadied himself. He drew his westar in his left hand and his vibrosword in his right and all was suddenly right with the Galaxy.

He would be back in mortal combat once again and the surge, the desire, to kill was soothed. Because he would kill, he would die or he'd at least do his level best to do either of the first two options. There was no reason to do anything but smile.

In honestly, Maeve was hoping that someone in the crowd was a Jedi or at least a Jedi intern that would be bold enough to attempt to stop them. The briefest thought was she had blown them up on the train, but a confused Maeve would accept that perhaps there would be a bold galactic or two who would try to save the day. There seemed to have been more Sith to have arrived, prepared and ready to do something that would draw something to their name. The label of terrorist she guessed would work for now, as long as it made the point that they are still around and clearly willing to agitate.

Maeved followed behind the silver-furred wookiee, Shor, as he seemed to relish in this type of atmosphere. The bloodshed continued, the world of average Coruscanti civilians were being warped into a reality that this galaxy was no longer safe for them and without the presence of the Jedi currently and even the delayed response of the Sector Rangers, this emphasis seemed even more dire to those. She watched as Shor throw a detonator into the crowds pressing to exit the station; her own saber sliding through the mid-section of those trying to escape by her, clearly overcome by their own tunnel-vision and focus to their own self-preservation. There was one though that seemed to stand out, it certainly was not Jedi, but still needed some fine-tuning in the abilities of the Force.

She watched as the man (@Darasuum) dash behind duracrete wall in his own attempt to escape. Maeve glanced at Shor and then followed the civilian instead, a need to quench her curiosity or bloodlust, or perhaps both.

With the duracrete wall obscuring his line of sight with the masked female figure, it allowed him to see how the maglev looked from the outside for the first time. Lucien felt the malice closing in and looked towards the corner in anticipation. There wasn't anywhere else to move without probably triggering the terrorist's desire for destruction and death. Not to mention there were probably more of them meaning he might just be running into another firing squad or sniper somewhere. The morganian's eyes flicked around in vain to spot a possible gunman still in view.

Standing up, he took a deep breath and allowed his frustration at being simply inconvenienced to be the spark that blossomed into anger.
My suit, my time, a waste of meat and pain. The power swelled as he built up his power with the dark side of the force. It was basically making a mountain out of a mole hill since the man was used to letting things go and keep a cool head. He wasn't trying to hide his presence like he usually did, quite the opposite.

If the woman had a blaster he would try to deflect or minimize the damage. But the Morganian didn't want to do anything too flashy since there were still possibly security cameras around or other civilians. While some force users were alright being in the spotlight, Lucien was not one of them. However, if Maeve got close enough, rounding the corner she would probably be able to see the characteristic that showed in many Sith to represent their dark side corruption. Lucien's iris's turned yellow color as his connect to the dark side remained focus.

Well the Wookiee was slightly unexpected - he thought they were all supposed to be tree-hugging pacifists who only killed to eat? Either this one was some kind of super messed up Wook or he was going to try eating some of the damned people around here. Lorcan wasn't sure which option was more odd but he didn't need to care too much.

He just needed to remind himself that Wookiees were great big freaking targets.

As the Wookiee and a woman in a mask (or something, he wasn't really paying attention to their looks) made for a corner, Lorcan moved up closer to them from behind. They might have the Force to warn them... but he was willing to bet that they weren't going to be able to detect one non-Force Sensitive moving when their entire attack had basically caused nothing but people moving and running around.

Worked for him.

Reaching 30m from them, he would open fire with his blaster pistol. He was slightly annoyed with himself for not changing it from the stun setting but he also wasn't - he remembered hearing somewhere that lightsabers couldn't return stun bolts to sender like they could blaster bolts. He would fire one at the back of the woman, then one at the back of the Wookiee and repeat in that pattern quickly until he had fired two bolts at each other them.

The presence was a welcomed one, the darkness falling heavily with her own presence, complimenting her own revel in the panic and fear, there was anger and annoyance. Perhaps there was also a bit of determination that the darkness welcomed, a passion to see an appropriate end to one's own adversaries. Her senses were well in tuned as she turned on instinct, her red saber absorbing the stun bolt that was fired at her and her angry wookiee companion.

"Ah, a people's champion." she spoke softly under her mask, as her saber easily absorbed the second stun bolt. Her eyes were set on the human (@Lorcan) who wanted to play hero...or perhaps the reluctant hero...Maeve was certain that the latter was the cooler thing to do. She would accept regardless, the invisible energy twisted from her being as she jutted out her blacked palm. The Force would obey her command, ramming into the man's center. Though she preferred her brethren from the opposite end of the spectrum, she guessed this would have to work for now. If he survived, perhaps his kind would hail him as a hero even if she strung him out like the fool he was being.

When a Force user throws their hand in your direction there were only a few things they could be doing. Since the woman hadn't actually thrown something at him that meant it was the second thing; she was planning on throwing him. It was a logical move against someone who couldn't just wave a hand to fix it.

So he threw himself to the right into a combat roll, feeling the air as it was controlled and forced in the Push that would have otherwise hit him. Rising from his roll he pointed he pointed his vibrosword at the woman.

"Fight me with your blade."
he challenged her with a wide grin, "Come on! Fight me like you mean it!"

Did he mean that?

Absolutely.

He was, at this point, overjoyed at the chance to face someone in combat and not to have to hold himself back. His blaster pistol was only in stun setting still because it couldn't be countered right back at him like a blaster bolt could. If she accepted his challenge he would focus on his bladework but if she made to use the Force instead he would respond with another stun bolt.

A long-lived youth hunting in the Shadowlands of his homeworld, decades of gladiator fights and gang wars, and training with bloodthirsty Sith had honed Shor's sense of danger to a razor's edge. He knew when he was being targeted. The Ranger had also fired at someone else first, drawing the madclaw's attention toward the shooter in time to intercept the first shot with his lightsaber. As he spun, Shor's free left hand shot out with claws bared, digging into the ribcage of a half-dead civilian and bringing it up to serve as a literal meat shield. The second stun bolt struck his new shield, reducing the young man's suddenly redoubled struggles to live into stunned limpness.

Shor roared his defiance, the sound cutting through the panicked screams of the civilians, and began to wade through the mass of bodies and chaos toward the shooter. With a burst of the Force and sheer physical strength the massive wookiee launched the stunned meat shield toward the Ranger like a particularly angry catapult as he was standing up. Shor began his own loping advance, 1.5m lightsaber arrayed in front of him to deflect further shots. Shor noted the man's avoidance of Maeve's usage of the Force, eyes narrowing behind his mask. This one had interacted with Force users before, or was at least notably clever. But in Shor's experience, clever only got one so far, and he was making the decision to fight Sith in close combat.

The madclaw suspected the Ranger intended to draw Maeve into close quarters to lock down her lightsaber, drawing her focus and opening her up to close range blaster fire while she couldn't properly guard. He didn't say anything about it, though. If it worked, the other woman deserved what she got. The Dark Side seethed within the madclaw, his bloodlust and hunting instincts finding a new target of opportunity. Not that he hadn't noticed the other Dark presence elsewhere in the area, a presence he would keep tabs on. He did not recognize it, and that meant it was potentially a threat.

The Morganian wait for the footsteps to produce the image of the woman he had seen for a moment earlier. But they stopped amid the sounds of chaos. Screams and crying in the distance continued. Taking a step closer towards corner his grey eyes peered around to see a man facing off against the woman and her wookiee cohort.

The 'Champ' seemed like he was in a bit over his head. But at least he was buying time for Lucien. The former cultist focused his thoughts on his own survival in that moment. The wookiee and the woman were not too far from one another but were still too close to the main entrance for Lucien to be seen. However the larger dark sider seemed to enjoying the wanton slaughter until it had noticed the blaster toting former Ranger to the point that it seemed like the large Sith ventured further from the main entrance.

Now was his chance. Lucien sent an illusion to run out and distract anybody watching the cover he had been using while instead the real stuntman went around the other corner. But there were still numerous civilians still trying to make their escape distracting the dark siders and also providing some modicum of cover or difficult terrain. Using the force he made for the entrance behind the Sith.

He rolled out of the path of her throw, rising to his feet now with his vibroblade in his grasp. Shor roared loudly behind her as he made his demands. He wanted a challenge, he wanted a fight and Maeve could feel his elation. This was not about necessarily stopping her and the other Sith, it was the fight he craved. If only he were to pledge his alliance to the Sith would he find that satisfaction. The dark side would relish in his passion, his masters would find satisfaction in his art.

Though the face of her mask remained unchanged, beneath Maeve had a coy smile. "No." she stated flatly knowing her response would stir up more emotion from the man, an unfulfilled satiation even. "Today you are not worthy of such a challenge." she hissed through her mask and raised her free palm before her. The darkness that seeped from her being whispered in her thoughts as well as his own.

"Not too much longer, champion, have patience and you shall be rewarded." lowered her palm, her saber still glowed blood-red by her side. The dark woman was curious to see if he would follow her advice, or follow in the consequence of being too hot-headed as she stepped backwards two steps before turning to make her exit. Either way, Maeve made her mark present, there was more to be done and it was not going to completed until she returned and finished.

Having a person bodily thrown at him as he was coming out of his roll was not what he wanted but he was a fairly adaptable guy. His split-second reaction was to cut the stunned civilian in half and advance through the middle... but he couldn't bring himself to just kill some random little peon for no reason other than to not take a hit.

Instead he surged upward at an angle to shoulder barge the flying body. The force behind it was powerful and the weight was not inconsiderate but he wasn't a pushover himself... but it still sent him spinning as it hit his shoulder, needing him to steady himself against a wall for a second.

He spat at the Sith.

"So you're one of those cowardly Sith."
he grinned at them both, keeping them both in his sights for now, "Heard about you lot. Heard you get off on the fear and shite - what do you do when they're not afraid?"

Lorcan grinned wider, no doubt looking quite deranged at this point.

"That the part where you run away and pretend it was all part of the plan?"

Was it dumb to try and lure one of them into a fight? Maybe.

"What about you, carpet, you gonna wuss out too?"

Was it dumb to try and egg a Wookie into a fight? Hells yes but he didn't care anymore.

Lucien felt the strong heartbeats belonging to his own body. It wasn't a fast passed beat, but it felt loud and also strong. Before the Morganian knew it, he was behind the Wookiee and the masked woman. They hadn't even seemed to have targeted his illusory doppelganger despite going right in front of their field of vision..

However, the woman turned, facing Lucien since he was unwittingly now between the Sith terrorists and their exit. Summoning the force and focusing it into his arms. Lorcan could not see the Morganian but Maeve was possibly close enough she might even notice the hints of darkside corruption in his eyes. He no longer was utilizing buried presence though he normally made a habit of having it up at all times. Utilizing it in conjunction with any other force technique was not something he had developed yet. Against two, possibly more Sith now, maybe letting them know he wasn't a goodie-two-shoes would be a boon. Stretching out his right hand he sent a push with the force towards both the wookiee and the masked woman. The aim was to disorient and unbalance as well as even maybe get knocking them fully off their feet towards the insult shouting investigator.

It seemed the little morsel was full of rage, grinning madly and brimming with bloodlust. It was refreshing to see an otherwise ordinary human with such fire in them, a warrior amongst peasants, a wolf amidst sheep. The day had suddenly become much more interesting than a mere culling of civilian garbage.

Then the Dark presence from before, which had vanished from his senses, reappeared with a surge of telekinetic energy from behind him. Shor fortified, widening his stance forward as well as grounding himself in the Force. The wave of energy crashed against his back, pushing his torso forward, but he bent at the waist and took it. A growl rumbled out from behind his mask and the madclaw adjusted his stance, right foot and saber toward Lorcan while his left side more or less faced the exit. His left arm stretched out toward the Morganian and his fingers closed in, attempting to form a crushing grip around the man's neck in reprisal.

His lightsaber still faced the human, expecting him to use his blaster. The madclaw was certainly bloodthirsty, but that didn't mean he wasn't also intelligent. He'd caught on to Maeve's game, a psychological technique to twist the little human's emotions in angry knots. Frankly, Shor was surprised at how little she had said to get her point across. At this point he'd expected a grand speech judging from the others Shor had partnered up with for their murderous escapades, but he much preferred the succinctness of her taunts over Dark Side story time.

"You are no challenge," rumbled the mask in its distorted bass directed toward the bloodthirsty human, eyes narrowing behind the scarred metal. Doubtless Maeve had her own games to play, at least judging by whatever shadowy tendrils she had reached out toward the little human. Shor was disinterested in such subtle arts of manipulation. He was a warrior and a hunter, not a scheming manipulator. So he took his own little spin on it.

"You are no Jedi."

With his left hand at the ready to defend, he saw the large form of the wookiee take the brunt of the push. The Morganian's frustrations flared at not having quite as much of an affect as desired. The masked woman seemed to be completely taken by surprise and was thrown towards the feet of the mouthy human.

As the wookiee pivoted to face him Lucien raised other un=used fre hand and channeled it into a blinding force flash to disrupt whatever technique was intended by the dark clad being. Lucien had no intention of waiting to find out. His right foot pushing off to lunge forward while keeping low, just in case the helmet protected him. Even a blind enemy could still hit a target if it was lucky and the actor didn't want to take that chance.

The dazzling technique would probably blind numerous civilians though probably not the masked woman nor the private investigator. Lucien didn't want to blind the man with a blaster that was now the most likely key to Lucien's own survival. The wookiee as its arm reached out to try and only commit half its attention to the Morganian while reasonably expecting probably a follow up attack by Lorcan and keeping it between . If Lorcan saw an opening he was welcome to take it.

Lunging forward and low Lucien knew that it was a bad idea to normally get close with a wookiee. But if it was blind it would be a decent advantage for Lucien. While he was big, the morganian had a lower center of gravity. His hand that had sent the force push would be reaching for the only weapon the stuntman actually carried on him.

She feel the human's emotions stir into a whirlwind of chaos; he was grasping for any point of control but she would not allow him that luxury. He shouted back at her and the wookiee in the form of an insult she guessed. It was worth his effort, but it did not bother her.

"There was no plan." she simply stated.

Shor growled his response as the man then began to taunt him now as he looked for his fight elsewhere. It sounded like he wanted to fight his life away today and not so much focused on any sort of survival like the rest of the people here. That was fascinating in its own way to the dark woman; the limits of the psyche seemed to vary, and there were only just a few that always wanted to go against their own survival. Maeve had glanced over her shoulder to the man before looking back ahead, focused on making her own exit as it seemed no Jedi were out and about in this moment.

Though there seemed to be another pest, the dark presence she felt earlier now stood in front of her and the Wookiee. He was not part of their group today and therefore he could have been an enemy to them. He raised his palm and emitted a push to the two of them, Shor taking a solid hit, but barely moved only to erupt more rage from the Wookiee warrior. Maeve, of course, smaller in frame worked to absorbed most of it, but it pushed her off balance and back enough to be closer to the death-wishing human.

Simple pushes were easy to recover from, the darks side swelled around the sorceress and the men who sought to intervene. The flash of light had not effect, the brightness filtered through the lens of her mask as she continued with her spell. Cold and heavy, the air would be difficult to breathe as though their surroundings had been draped in a wet blanket. The Force bent to her will and Lorcan and Lucien would feel the poison of its influence as his limbs would become heavy like lead and pull both to the ground.

The flash of light was a clever move. It would have worked if Shor had been looking toward the Morganian, but instead his hood and helmet shielded his eyes. Unfortunately because he wasn't directly looking at his target, the Morganian's sudden forward movement threw off his aim and prevented a grip around his neck. Shor turned his gaze toward the forward-lunging man and repurposed the Dark energy already surging through.

The madclaw turned fully toward the Morganian and stepped his right foot forward, roaring his defiance. His lightsaber swung around as he turned and stepped, left hand gripping the bottom for leverage, speed, and power, the Dark Side enhancing his own natural strength further. He cut his right to left, striking low and horizontally toward the Morganian's midsection as the man came into range of the two meter blade. The swing would stop at center low guard regardless of whether or not it hit, or even if he somehow was no longer in range.

Shor had accepted the man's attack as a challenge and intended to engage him until either he abandoned his attack or one of them fell. He assumed the masked woman could handle the gun-toting, loudmouth human on account of her being closer at this point, though Shor still kept his senses open. Trickery and cheap shots were common tactics used to achieve victory after all.
