Concealing an albino Wookiee isn't easy. Composed of worn and semi-random bits of clothing fitted and stitched together to cover Shor's massive frame, this bit of armor manages to do just that. Cloth composed of durable and breathable materials prevents overheating when worn. A full, large helmet conceals his head, beneath which is a breath mask that covers his mouth and noise, wearable without the rest of the helmet and containing its functions. Inside the mask is a simple droid brain capable of translating a large number of languages back and forth, mostly used to transmit the Wookiee tongue into other languages in real time using a variety of preset voices. The torso is armored with a blast vest containing fitted duraplast plates. The gloves are frequently replaced, sometimes ruined by the use of his claws.
Perfectly legal, if creepy.
To give Shor some armor and talking ability.
Type and Coverage
Coverage: (Coverage regions for Light armor is 1-3 regions, Medium is 4-5, Heavy is 6-7)
Head: Full helm
Torso: Blast vest with fitted duraplast plates
Back: Blast vest with fitted duraplast plates
Function 1: Filter
Filters are bulky attachments to a helmet, or function as part of a mask, that filter out environmental contaminants such as smoke or most toxins. They are susceptible to caustic substances and damage. .
Function 2: Voice Scrambler
For the unusually paranoid, this helmet function can scramble a person's voice to unintelligible garbage, while allowing commlink conversations to continue as normal. Alternatively, it can be used to "digitize" a voice into a deep bass tone.
Function 3: Armorweave (Underlay)
Most often in the form of a heavy cape, skirt, or underlay beneath armor, armor weave provides some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered high velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds). It offers no protection against kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or similar "powered" weapons. Having more than one accessory (example: Cape + underweave) provides no additional effect.
Function 4: Rebreather
Rebreathers allow for a person to survive underwater or in space for brief amounts of time by scrubbing CO2 from their exhaled breath. Generally this lasts for 3-4 posts, but heavy exertion can shorten that time.
Function 5: Realtime Translator
A quality of life function made from salvaged droid parts, a simple droid brain translates the Wookiee tongue into a variety of languages known to Shor in real time. Can be turned on or off with a switch.
