Ruus'all Solus never wanted to meet his family.
His father was probably a gambler or something stupid and his mother was probably a whore or something just as stupid. They abandoned Ruus and left him to die- which he probably would've if Clan Solus hadn't found his little toddler ass running up and down the streets of Correlia. Ruus was grateful that Mandalorians had found him instead of slavers or pirates- or both, for that matter.
For most of the Mando's life, Ruus'all disregarded his parents because it was easier to try and forget them than to wonder about his heritage. Sometimes, when Ruus was in a bad mood, his leaders would tell him to imagine himself as some sort of bastard prince that was going to take back the corrupt throne or whatever... It worked for 7-year-old Ruus who loved playing-pretend and reenacting epic battles throughout history, but now as a 22-year-old Jedi Knight Mandalorian, it began to become harder to find ways to shrug off the looming thought of who his parents really were and why the chose to give him up.
Deep down, Ruus'all Solus always wanted to meet his family. Maybe he had siblings out there he would never know. Maybe his parents had to hide Ruus from a terrible threat of some sort and had actually saved his life!
Or maybe...it was just better not to know.

Corellia was Ruus'all's birthplace but not his home world. Mandalore would always be where his heart was happiest, even now as a Jedi Knight.
The Mando-Jedi was here to meet with another well-respected member of the Order, Vayla Mirana, who Ruus was expecting to be some old geezer who was alive when the first star system in the galaxy was created. The Council had thought it would be important, especially now for some reason, that Ruus'all discovered his true roots. To the Mandalorian's dismay, he was sent back to his birth planet to retrace his mother's steps.
Ruus'all took a seat inside a small cantina and awaited the arrival of this other Jedi so he could get this assignment over and done with. The Force tugged the back of the Mando's mind, however, giving him the feintest feeling of familiarity and peace. It was as if the universe was telling Ruus something in a language he was never taught.
Hopefully he'd be able to cypher it.
