Ruus'all liked the surveillance room idea but wasn't sure if they had enough time to find a security room like that before the ship took off. That would have made their little mission a lot more awkward. The idea of splitting up resurfaced but Ruus drowned it again, knowing how potentially terrible that idea would've been. If only the Mando had Zaia and the rest of Clan Solus here- they would've made short work of these low-life slavers. Their methods would have been a little unorthodox compared to what maybe a band of Jedi would've done, but Ruus'all's middle name was probably 'Unorthodox'.

However, regardless of how crazy a Jedi he seemed, Vayla's easy-going nature, yet firm foundation in what the Jedi stood for made Ruus'all feel a little better about himself while also a little worried. There was no doubt Vayla would tell the Council of what he did to the Pyke slaver, and Ruus wouldn't blame her. It just...stung. A lot- and getting rid of that pathetic waste of space seemed like the best option. It was instinct. Not a decision.

Which scared the Knight a little more.

Shaking himself off to focus on the task at hand, he looked back at Vayla, "If we lock down the bridge, we can call for an emergency evacuation and get everyone in the cargo hold to move the slaves into specific escape pods. However, for this emergency situation to be full proof, we need a legit emergency...I was thinking about maybe going to the hyperdrive and shootin' stuff up or something."

Vayla nodded in unison with Ruus’all’s thoughts. If time was so pressing then they really could not afford to split up. Neither can we afford to venture away from the bridge toward the hold or engineering. Especially if going to either of the latter meant having to backtrack toward the former.

“Solus, I think it is decided,” Vayla gave a decisive nod. “We take the bridge and, lest we forget, it surely houses the master controls where we can tamper with the hyperdrive without ever needing to tiptoe into engineering.”

She hoped he would not debate this given the ticking clock. Ultimately, two Jedi were all that was needed to swiftly overwhelm the bridge crew. Though, if Ruus’all did have objections or counterpoints, well, too little, too late.

A hand on his chest would push him behind the wall, Vayla hugging it too as two guards approached. Using the Force instead of her eyes, the Knight peered around the corner as the goons approached.

Twirling into view, she clocked the lights out of one, hoping her partner did the same with the other. “Right. Let’s move!” With that, Vayla made her way toward the bridge, having no more time for planning.

Vayla's quick attack on the first guard sent the other into a brief few seconds of shock- just long enough for Ruus'all to jump and overextend both his legs in a brutal side kick to knock the lights out of the last member of the patrol duo. Ruus'all then used the Force to grip their bodies by the chest and lean them up against the wall to make it look as if the had fallen asleep during guard duty before making his way further down the corridor to the elevator.

When they reached the end of the hallway, Ruus peaked passed the corner that revealed two elevators. Both of which were currently in use. After waiting a few more seconds to be safe, the left elevator opened it's doors allowing for a squad of goons to sonder out, walking towards the Jedi pair. Ruu'all gestured for Vayla to get ready and placed his neuronic whip in his right hand.

"Disarm them first, before knocking them out. Blaster fire will alert everyone of our position. We can handle maybe ten each- but not the entire crew."

Vayla merely tilted her head in acknowledgment of Ruus’all’s words, saying nothing. This was, all in all, business as usual. She might not be a Mandalorian Jedi but she was a Jedi, and a shadow at that.

The key to successful stealth was speed. Sure, her partner had made those two guards behind them appear to be sleeping, but fat chance of pulling that trick for the guards now before them.

We are Jedi, Vayla reminded no one. We can handle these fools. Steadying her breath, less nervous and more nonchalant, she positioned herself at the corner and focused her fingers. The Force felt her, she felt it, and the goons felt their blasters vanish from their grip.

It was one thing to concentrate on disarming armed individuals, tugging weapons like strings to sling said weapons onto the floor, and another thing to maintain that concentration right before springing for the blow.

No, Vayla was preoccupied, so it was up to Ruus’all to take point with speed and stealth both. He would lead and, by the time he took out most of his number, Vayla would be right behind him, taking out the rest.

It didn't take long for the two to silently make their way up into the elevator, taking out the guards and stashing them away out of sight to cover their tracks. Taking the bridge was going to be hard given that it was basically a corner the two could get caught in if they didn't do this perfectly.

"Alright, so here's the plan; There'll be about five technicians and five gunners that will be operating around the captain-person who will be in charge of how the ship is running, which, according to Dul, is my mom. There will also most likely be some guards that'll cause a fuss if they see us. So, we're taking the guards out first because they'll be the ones who'll call for backup and we don't want backup up their. It'll be a death trap. Then, we knock out the operators and finally arrest my mom."

That was only one half of the plan, however. "Since...I can't really trust myself to be around her, I'm going to let you watch hert while I go and screw with the hyperdrive and blow stuff up. While I'm doing that, you can try and pin point where the slaves are being held up. Then, you make your way to the escape pods and I'll go free the slaves. Sound good?"

Vayla stared long and hard at Ruus’all Solus as he relayed his plan, ever concerned for the man’s wellbeing, and not simply his physical form. What he had done back in that alley, what he had almost done in this ship before his companion steadied him, what his mother was doing on said ship, well, it surely took its toll on the mind.

“Very well, Knight Solus,” Vayla sounded. She did not take her gaze away from that black visor. A Mandalorian’s visor. She had met her share; they certainly were not all warmongering marauders. This one is not. Remember that, Vay. He is Jedi too. Her eyes narrowed as though trying to peer beyond the visor. Which one are you more of?

They traveled onward, moving fast but still sneaking, infiltrating their way toward the bridge. They reached it. Vayla hugged the wall on one side of the door, Ruus’all on the other. There was silence in the room on the other side; expected, given the thick metal door.

“You go for the guards nearest wall panels and consoles. That’s where the alarms will be.” It was more a reminder than new intel. “I’ll take out the others. Their hands will be going for blasters.” Vayla just as much did not want her fellow Jedi to deal with the more aggressive threats. “Non-lethal, as best we can.” He just as much needed less blood on his hands.

“Let’s go.” The door opened and Vayla sprung into action. Sure enough, a guard was quick to catch on to the unrecognized guests. He raised a blaster. Vayla raised her hand, flung him into another guard as both hit the wall and were knocked out cold.
