Lois Flynn (Training)

Lois waited until her master was 3 meters away, then she waved her hand. The panel to the sabers rack activated opening the saber container. She reached out with the force grabbing the 12 of the remaining blades and igniting them all, using them as one to create a wall of light in front of her that she pushed towards her master.

Rehni smiled, she fully stood and deactivated her lightsabers, clipping her's to her belt and tossing the training blade on the floor, letting it slide to Lois' feet. "Awaring ofing surroundings. Good." she waved her hand and deactivated all the lightsabers, sending each, one at a time back to the racks.

"Believing you ising ready to build your own lightsaber, having you any ofing disagreement?" she asked.

Lois picked up the blades off the ground and returned them to the racks. "Thank you master. You honor me with the speed of this pronouncement."

 

[GABA]

The Knight opened a pouch on her belt, and removed a clump of cloth that consisted of two lightsaber crystals, "Picking one." she told Lois, "Then you may begining building."

Lois looked at the two crystals. One was a deep blue, the color of the ocean, but the other was a dark orange, the color of lava. She felt her hand gravitate towards the lava crystal. As she picked it up she looked at her master, "Are you sure its ok that I have this? Its... so pretty."

 

[GABA]

"Both ising pretty," she replied, "Personally I would having blue notting orange." she nodded reassuring Lois could take it. She put away the other crystal, "When you ising completes, come backs to seeing me."

The crystal burned in my hand as I went to my quarters. The closer I got, the more it burned. It felt like it was on fire when I arrived. I went into my room and went to the bed. Someone had placed my bag on the bed. I opened it and pulled out the kit I had made last year when I had first reached padawan age. All the tools and parts I needed were inside. The durasteel hilt was polished to a mirror sheen. As I fitted the crystal into the slot I smiled. My blade was an adapted design. Where most blades were only a few feet long, I had installed a switch on my blade that could extend the reach by about a foot. I'd need another crystal before I could get it to go further, but for now, a foot was all I needed for the occasional surprise attack.

I closed the case and smiled. I'd had a year to prepare for this day. I smiled as I flicked the switch and a orange blade extended from my hand. It was the same size as the training blades. At least, for now.

I placed the blade on my desk and crawled into bed. Tomorrow I would show my master my handiwork.

The next day I went to reception and asked after my master, her room number in hand I headed up. When I reached her door I pressed the call button and waited for her to answer.

Rehni looked up from her work, she was busy repairing her own saber, she had felt a familiar presence at her door. Rehni opened the door before the buzzer stopped buzzing, "Lois," she nodded her head greeting her padawan, "Whating ising you need?" she asked.

I held up the finished blade, our reflections held on the contours of the hilt. "I finished my blade."

 

[GABA]

Rehni examined the blade, "Imagining working or elses there willing be a hole ining the temple." she smiled.

Lois chuckled. "Yes, it does work." She held up both her hands, "See, I still have all 10 fingers."

The Knight handed it back to Lois, "Verying good Lois. You having proving yourself to being a cuts aboves the rest." she said the last few words slowly trying to think of the phrase that was commonly used. She walked out of her room and into the hall shutting the door behind her, "Letting us go play with it." she gave a sly grin as she head in the direction of the sparing rooms.

"Wonderful master." Lois smiled as she fell in step.

Rehni lead Lois to the room. The room was large and circular; the walls were smooth, no closets, no storage or obstacles whatsoever. The room was dimly lighted with illumiators within the walls. She stood in the middle with her padawan, "When ising it oks for a Jedi to using their blade?" she asked Lois igniting her blue blade.

"Only when it is necessary." Lois stared her master in the eyes, "And morally justified."

Lois's lightsaber remained unlit as she stood and faced her master.

"Who must the Jedi defending?" she asked her padawan still standing in her spot, she begun to slowly spin her blade with her wrist.

 

[Griff's_Sister]

"Any intelligent species." Lois stated. "As Jedi we must be completely unbiased."

 

[GABA]

"Unbiases, intelligents, unintelligents, the weaks, the defenselesses. Nows," Rehni positioned her feet and saber into an offensive stance, "Sparring until you ising disarm me." The sprung off her back foot at Lois, she swung her blade up across Lois' torso.
