Lois felt the Kick in the stomach and backflipped before landing on her feet. She again charged at her master. this time fainting with her left hand before tossing the blade into her right and attacking her master's left shoulder.

Rehni blocked Lois' attack again, "Disappointing, steps it up Padawan."

Lois stood back from her master and deactivated her weapon. She starred at her master, weapon deactivated for 5 seconds before she reactivated it and charged. This time she swung at her master in what would be an easy parry. Only when there blades were about to connect she deactivated her blade for a split second before reactivating. Her blade would seem to pass through her master's blade unhindered.

Rehni stood one foot in front of another to give her steady balance, her own blade swung backhandly through what would be the clash of their blades, her senses flared, curious to know why she deactivated her lightsaber, and within milliseconds the Force told her what to expect; her body spun just out of the radius of Lois' blade; she suddenly burst with Force Speed, it got her nose to nose with Lois, her blade though deactivated, was pressed against Lois' gut, "Trakata hasing its advantages, knowing your opponent before using it. Otherwise you coulds be dead." she replied sternly.

((the blade would have instantly connected with you, and your character would have lost balance as all the momentum going into the swing would have been lost. basically unless you used the momentum to make some kind of dodge roll your character just got hit.))

edit: ((its is totally valid to now turn your characters last attack into a dodge roll))

((That doesn't make any sense. I was free to interpret where Lois swung her blade, due to lack of detail to were she was swinging it. As for deactivating the blade, the blades were to meet, but didn't due to the deactivation, you never followed through, so I was thinking she also continued on with the swing D: You understand my concern right?))

((ok, she deactivated her blade for only a split second. temporarily ending the shield around the plasma of the weapon just long enough to pass through your weapon, she then reignited so that the blade would swing and hit you. If your charcter put any defence into her parry she would fall forward as her balance was broken. Its like when your walking down stairs, and you don't notice your at the bottom until you've put enough energy forward to take another step down. Its caused by too much momentum. Lois doesn't have this problem because she put just enough momentum in to hit you, not your blade. But because the parry she set up for you was a simple one, your character would most likely be aiming for the blade.

((kinda, I'm self taught kendo(from a book) and I do go to the lightsaber club every week where we spar for 3 hours. and before that I had 2 friends I battled with regularly. I've also star wars role played on other sites for the last 5 years. The attack I did is using trakata I believe.

A manic smile appeared in Lois's eyes for a second before she crouched and did a spin kick to try and trip her master. Meanwhile her blade was pointed upwards, so it might connect with her masters midriff.

Rehni knew what smiles meant in any battle, she leap into the air, back-flipping before landing, giving several feet between her and the padawan. The Knight rose from her crouch, "C'mon. Do notting waits."

Lois charged, the force pulsing through her. Holding her blade in her right hand she thrust the blade at her master, However her hand was not actually on the blade. Rather she was using the force to control it and if her master were to dodge she would use the force to quickly rotate the blade, if her master blocked she would use the force to extend her reach and stab her in the chest.

Rehni threw up a force bubble around her and the lightsaber, she could smell her clothing burning as the saber point touched her chest, but she had cut off Lois' connection with her blade. The hilt deactivated and fell to the ground; Rehni picked up her blade, "Good. Seeing using a blade will be ofing no problem, how doing you do without blades?" she asked wanted to test Lois' fighting skills without a blade. She ignited both blades now in her control, leaping forward, she crossed slashed at Lois' chest.

Lois used the force to push against the ground, causing her to fly across the room where she landed against the wall. A smile crossed her face as she said, "This isn't really fair master."

"What do you doing? What do you doing when you lose your sabers? Weapons? Thinking padawan. Ising you dead now?" she asked trying to get her padawan to think.

"I am far from dead." Lois smiled, a twinkle in her eye. "Attack me and find out."

Rehni leaped forward her blades spinning as she listened to the Force to tell her about her padawan.
