Lois opened her eyes as her master's presence vanished. It was a knee jerk reaction and she could have kicked herself for doing it. She instantly closed her eyes again and concentrated on the force. Feeling out she grabbed hold of her master's presence. The knight was darting back and forth through the crowd. Rather than dart back and forth she lightly tapped the minds of all incoming traffic and suggested they move aside. She was now a good 5 meters behind her master, but using this technique she quickly caught up, only slowing whenever she crossed paths with those strong enough in the force to ignore her suggestion.

((to explain what she's doing: she's suggesting each person move one foot to either the right or left creating a path in front of her.

why this works: rather try and bend their mind to her will (which would not work against a strong mind) she is merely suggesting they take an alternate route. because it is not an order, but a suggestion the target moves depending upon how much they are concentrating on their destination. If they are taking a leisurely pace and are not in a rush, this suggestion easily gets in their mind and they don't even notice that they move out of her way. This is usually done by touch certain parts of the body, but in this case she has the force to produce the same effect.

Rehni could feel her padawan coming closer, she was doing extremely well and the Knight continued on, she was only meters from the entrance of the temple and went ahead and exited. She waited patiently for her padawan to meet her.

Lois could feel a large clearing ahead of her and with a step and a quick leap she jumped the remainder of the distance and landed a meter behind her master. "Did I pass?" Lois asked, her words coming in between deep breathes, though all were laced with excitement.

 

[GABA]

"Very muching so." replied the Knight she turned around to meet her padawan, "More than abling to continue. Come lets walking back into the temple." she lead the way, she was glad her padawan's senses were very well in tune. "Sures I am you having learned the code, does it meaning anything for you yet?" asked the Knight seriously.

 

[Griff's_Sister]

"The code is law," Lois frowned. "But its more than even that. The code colors our every decision and tells us how we should act at all times. Without it we would be both lost and confused."

With a smile she tilted her head to the side and said, "Ya know?"

((sorry about so few replies, I'm normally faster than this. But I was presenting at a reading tonight.))

The Knight listened to her padawan carefully, testing her students knowledge as she lead themselves on a walk aimlessly around the temple.

"Emotion, yetting peace; Ignorance, yetting Knowledge; Can you explaining ofing these to me?" she asked.

((Its fine : ] ))

 

[Griff's_Sister]

"Of course," Lois nodded. "We have emotions, but we don't let them control us, rather we control them. We are ignorant in that we do not know everything that happens, but we do have the knowledge of all that happens around us. Using this knowledge we are able to prevent evil that happens in our view."

Lois tilted her head to the side as if thinking about something, with a small frown she asked. "Is it ok if I remove the blindfold?"

 

[GABA]

((Ha! I totally thought I had posted something about that, but I guess I didn't D: ))

"Guessing you having walked good enough withouting bumping into I or others, I guessing so." Rehni retrieved the blindfold from Lois, "Moving ons: What ofing Passion, chaos, and death? What ofing a Jedi must do to avoid stepping on the dark side?" she asked.

 

[Griff's_Sister]

"Passion," Lois nodded, counting off the explanations on her fingers. "We must be passionate about our work, yet serene in our demeanor. Among chaos we create harmony. We have nothing to fear from death for we shall merely rejoin the force. Right?"

 

[GABA]

"Good padawan." replied Knight Tak'n, "Having you studying ofing the lightsaber forms yet?" she asked Lois.

 

[Griff's_Sister]

"I have." Lois nodded. "I have been trained in the use of both 1 and 0, but I have always wanted to learn Niman."

 

[GABA]

"I will teach you Niman then." replied Rehni now taking a more direct path back down the halls to the training rooms. the room they enter was large and open, the Knight walked to the other side of the room and waved her hand opening a door, which revealed training blades. "Picking one, then wes continuing." she told her.

Lois Pulled one off the rack and felt the weight of it. After a couple seconds she returned it and picked a second. She did this ritual three more times before turning around to face her master, a lightsaber in hand. As she activated it an orange blade extended from the hilt.

 

[GABA]

"Good. Whating you ising holding a training blade. It won't remove a limb but it willing to give a nasty burn." replied Rehni waving her hand to close the door. She walked to the center of the room and waited for Lois to join her, igniting her own blade. "As you knowing Niman ising combining all forms ofing the blade, you always starting feets apart, blade ignited held horizontal at head level." explained Rehni show her padawan as she explained.

"To defending yourself, you need held at your vulnerables areas." she said moving her blade from the opening stance to holding it vertically to block one side of her torso to the other, then swinging it downwards so her blade pointed to her feet, "You trying it now."

 

[Griff's_Sister]

Lois followed her master to the center of the room and duplicated the movement. "Like that?"

 

[GABA]

Rehni took a moment and moved her arms and blade so they stood more properly and effectively. "Block me nows with whating I shows you." said the Knight striking at her head, torso, and lastly her legs.

 

[Griff's_Sister]

Lois raised her right hand to block the head shot, she then lowered the blade to block the torso shot before she swaped the blade into her left had to block the leg shot, ending the series by counter attacking with her left hand swinging towards her masters hip.

 

[GABA]

Rehni blocked her padawans counter-attack with a quick smack from her blade, "Good; Just asing blocking those areas are whereing to attacks. Vulnerable areas." The Knight held up her blade for Lois to attack, "Attacks me."

((the way I battle is I setp up multiple attacks, but you can interupt any of them for a counter attack and we'll just continue from where you counter attacked))

Lois smiled, "I thought you'd never ask."

Lois leaped back, her feet spread apart, the right foot in front of the left, her blade held two handed, angled to the right. Her right foot twitched as she channeled force push through it, sending it at her masters feet in hopes to trip her, she followed the trip with a leap forward, she feigned a strike with both hands before at the las second taking her right hand off the blade and attacking with only her left hand, she swung her blade from her right aiming for her master's left hip.

((the stance she takes and the attack she does is one I've done in real life (except for the force push of course) since my school actually has a lightsaber club.))

((I'll get easier on you as we go along; and lolwhut? Lightsaber club? That's awesome!))

Rehni felt the push on her feet, but she was able to keep her ground, she watched her padawan leap forward, all the possible outcomes of the attack played out in her head before she felt for the right one. She once again smacked the blade out of the way, only with one hand too, before kicking her in the gut.

She starred down at her padawan, "Gets ups."
