You could probably opt to remove the Avatar bits and what not. Once the roleplay gets a few threads under its belt we can try working out an avatar, as long as it happens in a realistic way, so that wouldn't rule out the possibility of her becoming the avatar later.

The way I plan on handling the Avatar thing would be by whoever wants their character to take on the role then a random selection assuming there's more than one.

I can do that. But I'm throwing my vote in again to be the Avatar.

Finished my character, Now All I need to do is make her less OP, but I'll drop a link if you guys wanna critique it.

I seriously love the tidbit about her having to be taught how to lavabend by waterbenders, it makes sense and it really freaking cool. Also, I understand your point about her being a risk since she's a lavabender, but she can still earthbend normally and metalbend, so it'd make sense that she isn't allowed to lavabend on the job but could still work as a police officer. Perhaps she knew Jalas, his father was also an officer, though he died when Jalas was 14.

I also noticed you mentioned her seeking to join the Shadow Benders, if Mika and Jalas had been friends in the past we could work out the details of her joining that way. Jalas wouldn't just let any old friend of his join, but I'd bet his father would have told him stories about Mika, and there is the possibility that Jalas and Mika even trained together, as his mother was only able to teach him healing techniques. Hell, there is even a chance the Shadow Benders might have sought out this mysterious woman named Gaia, with Jalas connecting the dots between Gaia's skills and that girl his father had told him about.

Also, I love that formating style, it's sleek and pretty. Though you did forget to change the quote under the Information section. ;P

I have no intention of being the Avatar, no thank you. And trust me, Jalas is far to unstable for that level of power.​

I Shamelessly stole the template from you, i don't deny that. I'll edit the part about the reason for her expulsion, I just need to figure out a good reason. Or, maybe She could be like Barry Allen and be like a CSI/Vigilante.Yeah, I'm gonna do that.

It's led by three benders, or Kage, a Firebender with the title of Hokage, an Earthbender with the title of Tsuchikage, and a Waterbender known as Mizukage. If you wanted to go for it with an Airbender, you'd have to challenge one of the Kage, though as there is no Airbender amoung the Kage, your character would be the first.​

Oh XD. Just a name. I thought you were introducing actual shadow bending lol. My bad. But maybe in character she will once she comes to Republic city. My go to idea right now is for her to be one of the air benders daughters. Jinora maybe? I forget their names at the moment. She'd be born in whatever temple they trained at. Details to come whenever I make this person.

Well, only the Avatar can truly take away a person's bending. But perhaps the Harmonic Convergence can change a person's bending. So long as he doesn't end up with both Fire and Air, I don't see an issue with it.​
