It was a gift, that which I did next. As his hand gently lifted my chin, my sapphire eyes sparkled and shimmered. A soft smile rose on my face as I blushed at his words. At his jest, a musical laugh escaped my lips.

"I had hoped that you would return this night," I said in a soft tone, a kind smile remaining on my lips as I gazed deeply into his eyes. "I do not recognize your face. Is this your first time to Eriadu?" I asked him, my eyes focused on him and him alone.

"Partly," Raiden spoke inward, "see that old fellow is actually a kinder and sweeter man then what he was acting. As a little boy I used to come down here and be babysat by
Griff, he's a close friend. By the way my lady your smile is beautiful and your laugh is astonishing." Raiden continued to look her into the eyes.

He moved his hand around hers, his momentarily hand remained on the bottom of hers. He moved his own and placed it on top of hers. He kept it there, hoping he'd make Kaori feel safer. He smiled afterwards.

My smile deepened at his words, the rose color of my cheeks deepening to a soft rouge as I cast my eyes to the table again where my hand was covered with his. Slowly, my fingers curled around his and I brought my gaze to his eyes once more.

"It must be difficult at times to see him affected so. You are a good friend to remain by his side in his weakest moment. Not many patrons here would bother, m'lord..." I did not finish as my smile deepened and I looked abashed. "Forgive me, m'lord but I know only your first name."

"KasMelan, that of the same my lady, please do tell me. What is your last name?." Raiden waited for her reply, he liked her curling her fingers around his. He indeed felt safe, the lady seemed to know just about everyone. As far as he knew he was lucky to have her by his side, rather then some drunken. He wanted to keep her there. He liked her there.

Were I well traveled, his name might have meant something more than it did. Still, I offered a smile as my index finger lightly stroked his hand. "S'gaat, M'lord KasMelan," I said with a bow of my head, doing her best to imitate his inflections in his pronunciation. "Eriadu has been my home for most of my life and this cantina, like a second home at times. I enjoy coming here to listen to the stories from afar. It is a dream to leave this place and see the galaxy for myself one day," I said dreamily before catching myself and dropping my gaze once more to the table.

As the blush faded from my cheeks, I raised my gaze to his once more and squeezed his hand. "Would you indulge me with a story, M'lord KasMelan?"

"My lady S'gaat, now that's a sweet name. Eriadu isn't that bad of a place. As for your dream, possibly it could come true one day. Could it not?" Raiden was a little upset that she hadn't got to see the other wonders of the galaxy. He had seen plenty, more then enough for being as young as he was. "A story is it? It'd be an honor." Raiden stroke his finger in a pacing way across the backside of her hand.

"Whenever I was a younger boy. Possibly around the age of fourteen? My father, ahh, my father. His name was richer then blood. His name was Listian KasMelan. You must of heard of it, many has." Mentioning his father's name was a sorrow in Raiden's life, he missed him dearly. He tried to keep his name from the hearing of others. "He was the king of Irodia my homeland. That he be, he was also an astonishing warrior. He lived to tell his stories to me. But one faithful day he had faught and died just as a true king does for his people. But on thy day he was sick, anyhow. That day was the day I won't forget. The messengers they came and spoke to my mother personally. She passed the news to me, I was heart broken." Raiden didn't really share this with many people. "But before his death was forsaken. I was told about a prophecy in which i'm suppose to fulfill."

Raiden started strumming Kaori's hand, he was upset. But he wouldn't show it. "That's the end, I'd rather not go on. But that wasn't really a story, only a memory."

As he began, I leaned closer, mesmerized by the way his voice began the story and the emotion that was behind it. This was a man that could know passion as few men allowed themselves to experience.

As the sorrow filled his gaze and he had trouble continuing, I placed my hand on his back, rubbing it gently and scooting closer. I was there as a rock for him to lean upon if he so desired, something steady in which to turn to in his deepest need.

"I'm so sorry, Raiden," I said through a voice choked with emotion as a tear fell down my cheek. "I am honored that you would share this with me," I continued. There was more I wished to say, but he needed his moment to grieve again. I could be patient.

Raiden was alarmed by the story and even hurt. He hated to remorse what he had said, but he felt right whenever he could share it with the lady. The rubbing on the back soothed Raiden and only calmed him. The sorrow was always going to be there.

"No need, Kaori." He smiled, "I'll be fine. Like always, now then, let's hear a story about you." He looked her deeply into the eyes, he couldn't help but to stop himself from wanting to learn more and more about Kaori. The girl amused him and rose him to the fullest limit. Yes he had accomplished many things before, but being with her made him feel more accomplished.

I looked into his eyes as if I did not completely believe that he was fine. Yet, after a time, I broke my gaze from his and bit my lower lip, thinking of a story I could tell.

"A story, my dear, prince?" I asked, blushing several shades of red. "I dare say my life has been rather dull," I replied, bringing my dazzling blue eyes back to his. "There are only embarassing stories that I would rather not speak," I said with a chuckle, dropping my gaze to our entwined hands.

"Perhaps we could make a story to tell? I believe your life has more then what you can tell. My dear lady, you must recognize yourself. Your beautiful, young, and slender, you have all the beauty. You can make that worth while, as for my prince status. I am nothing compared to a prince." Raiden thought he was right, he didn't live for his people. He could probably be king. But he isn't.

He tightened his hand around hers, he wanted her for good. Although they've only met, he wished in the future they'll be together. Friends or companions either way, he was happy.

I blushed a true crimson at his words, my dazzling eyes raising to his once more as they were filled with passion and desire for it to be true. I leaned in closer, my eyes dropping to his lips as I answered him in a whisper. "Does your destiny even have room for one such as I?" I asked him in a sultry tone. My eyes looked up at him, inquiring if I could kiss him. "I have known great men before with great destinies. They come and go while I remain."

"Either way, wouldn't it be wonderful to share what we could? My destiny is nothing but to revenge my father is it not? But with a great destiny always need to be a wonderful lady." Raiden leaned in, looking to her lips, securing his lips with Kaori. The kiss he gave her was passionate, modest, and mean-while. The kiss was a great kiss. He had hoped that's what she truly wanted, he couldn't tell. He only guessed.

His feelings were unbearable.

His kiss was laced with passion, setting my own heart ablaze as my heart beat against my chest. This was what he had wanted since he first laid eyes upon me. It was this I had seen. Slowly, I pulled away from him, my eyes glancing up at his, warm and filled with longing. This was what I was created for.

My warm breath washed over his skin as I finally pulled back further. "You...you promised me a drink earlier," I managed to say as I tried to catch my breath. "Might I have a cordial?" I asked, my eyes pleading to have something to soothe my nerves. Though in all truth, it was not needed. It was all part of the game.

Raiden nodded, he stood upon his feet. Making his way to the bar he intended to order exactly what she had wanted. He offered it earlier, she kept that in mind. Obviously she was thinking of him. Raiden was in front of the bar whenever the bartender asked,

"What can I get you?"
"A cordial and Juma juice." Raiden said
"A cordial and juma it'll be!"

In a matter of moments the bartender's show of filling the glasses was finished. He turned and placed the glasses into Raiden's hand. Raiden respectfully already had the credits open for grabs on the table for the bartender. Raiden turned around and made his way through the rather large crowd, finally he sat down once again. Handing Kaori her glass, his remained in his hand.

The atmosphere of the cantina/resturant was in stark contrast to the environment Ares had just been in. Wedged behind a large coolant pipe for a half an hour while almost continous blaster fire rained down on him was not what he would call a good night, but it was something he was used to. 30 odd years as a bounty hunter had dulled his senses to the sound of blaster fire and death.

He looked across the table at his wife, who had been wedged right next to him for the duration of the fight. Her hair was somewhat a mess like she had been tossed around, which she had been. her leather body suit was torn in places and skuffed from dirt. He himself had blood stained on the gauntlets of his armor and chest plate. It tended to happen whenever he got up close and personal to his targets.

Through the dirt and sanguine though, he still thought she was beautiful, ever since the day she stopped acting like a child and started acting like a warrior. Their table was situated near the back of the cantina, close to a some what romantic looking couple. Ares looked down at his menu, then back up to the waiter who had been waiting with not much patience for Ares to give his order. The hunter looked at his wife again, back to the menu, and finally back up to the waiter before speaking.

" Uhhmm yes.....Well......" Ares looked back towards his wife again.

" Ill have the Bantha Steak......And my wife here will have the Nerf Sausage." The armor clad man fodled the menu and handed it to the waiter, who didnt even ask if it was all they wanted before walking off in a huff. Ares looeked back up to his wife again, removing his helmet as he did so.

" So how was your day dear? Other than us getting our butts nearly blown off."

Stasha Evie was the sort of woman who turned heads. Her face put angel’s to shame and her eyes of molten gold could make Demon’s blush.

On this day however, she was gaining a steady number of eyes on her for another reason:

She was mess.

Her body glove like suite of latex and plastics was torn across her beast, exposing the milky skin beneath if not for her sturdy fore arm in place to conceal her nudity. She stared at her husband across the table and let down her hair from its untidy holds. A cascade of rich auburn from her thorny crown to just past her shoulder blades

“I’m not in the mood for sausage…” she groaned. “And why do you always do that! I said I wasn’t ready! I wanted hot cakes!” She puffed out her lower lip and tossed back a mahogany lock of hair, hardened by dried blood.

She sighed and held Ares in her eyes affectionately before apologizing.

“I’m sorry, Love I’m a little annoyed…” she reached over and stroked his beard gently.

All the combat she checked off her early morning schedule left her aggressive and unsatisfied.

“I think you over did it, slitting that Kiffar’s throat-” She paused and raised her voice for emphasis.

“An inch away from my face!”

Ares sighed as Stasha scratched his beard, " Well honey, you where taking forever, and the man looked like he was expecting a bomb to go off in his pants." He said as he absent mindedly played with his fork. He snorted loutdly in response to Stasha's statement regarding the kiffar.

" And that suprised you how? He was trying to gut you like a fish, stabbing him through the back of his neck was a neccessary thing to do. Besdies....you know how I get when I get the....feeling...from people. I usually go ape shit on em before they even get a chance to talk." Ares said as he tried to justify his actions.

" They ripped your suit again too...." The hunter laughed for a moment. " Not that I'm complaining mind you."

The Zabrak Scowled, looking down at her chest with discomfort and hugging her breast tighter to her.

“My suite is ripped because the man who’s neck you tore open like a rabid animal started slashing at me like a bad plastic surgeon!”

Their meal arrived and she thanked the waiter sharply, picking up the Nerf sausage and shaking it threateningly as she spoke.

“ I know it must be hard for you, living with a constant buzzing with the world up to its eyeballs in scum like…” She trailed off, gazing at the booth before them where a male of her species and tart-ish human sat. She didn’t want unfamiliar ears to hear all she had to say but it never stopped her in the past so she went on wagging the weenie like a puppet to animate her word play.

“Hot cakes!” she screamed after the waiter as he departed

“Three of them!” She added, looking back at her fellow bounty hunter and sulking.

" Well at least I didnt rip his Trachea out! Would you have preferred I did that instead?! Waving it around like fraking trophy?!" Ares backlashed as he looked over his steak. His shoulders sunk a little and he looked back up to his wife with sorry eyes.

" Im sorry babe, its just sometimes I wish I never had this stupid power. It would make life alot easier, you would not believe the amout I'm getting right now! Its like someone left on a holovid and its gone to nothing but static and white noise.....at full volume!" The aging man poked his steak briefly with his cybernetic arm, accidently overdoing it and pushing a whole right through the meat, plate, and table. Ares quickly shot his gaze back up to his wife then back down to his meal, a smile slowly spreading across his face. He began laughing slightly as he pulled his mechanical finger out of the wooden table.

" Opps....Over did it again..... So'd you like how I snapped that guys neck? That was perfect form, something I think you've failed to master." Ares wasnt serious, but he enjoyed teasing his partner, it made them both work harder. The making up after was always good too.

Evie was about to protest when Ares’ brute strength destroyed their table. She laughed wickedly and leaned her face on her elbow feeling the after shocks of humor. She calmed and brought the sausage to her lips, tearing off its tip savagely with her sharp canines

“Neck breaking isn’t my strong point…” she paused and purred.

She let her smirk deepen and leaned back in recline

“I’m more of a run-down, gun-down, Kind of girl.” She chuckled and took a drink before continuing.

“Did you see that woman’s face when I threw my “trophy” at her? She looked like a spider landed on her!” She crudley mimiced the woman's reaction.
