Eriadu, a place with so much potential that went horribly wrong. Such was the place I called home these many years. Rugged terrain that could take your breath away bordered only by the dark seas that dotted the planet. Each year the struggle for dominance, the seas crashing upon the shores to erode the land, continued yet it was industry that eventually won.

I sighed as I turned the last card over, revealing the one I had seen oft of late. Change was coming and with it wings of resistance. Picking up the cards, I thought of the recent news that had come in from the merchants traveling the trade routes. Rumors were flying rampant about forces visiting the planets of the outer and mid rim seeking to seize control over them. Merchants never liked new sanctions or rules. It was easy to see why they were so upset.

One by one, picking up my cards, I glanced over my shoulder to look around the cantina, gauging the latest influx of merchants and travellers, curious to see what news they brought with them. Sticking the cards into a pocket of my dress, I moved to the bartender, smiling brightly.

"How about a round of the finest for our newest customers, Fortun."

"As you say, Miss S'gaat," he said, placing the glasses upon the tray with a pitcher of their finest ale and then winking.

Blushing under his wink, I cast my eyes down and picked up the tray, smiling brightly. A few loose tongues always seemed to speak a little more freely. Stepping away from the bar and raising my eyes again, I began to move toward their table.

Raiden was at a sit down with a friend. Raiden was strong looking, he stood tall and slender, he looked different then most Zabraks. His friend, Griff was a old human male, his body was worn down and almost completely out of shape. He was fat, round, and timid, the complete opposite. Griff had been the one that what he had said to the waitress. Raiden kept calm and quiet.

As the waitress began moving to their table, Griff leaned over, "Oh boy, her' she comes." He said through his half sided smile, an empty tooth space showed during the short smile. Raiden continued to keep quiet. He didn't like to be ignorant, he wasn't a flirt but a friendly foe.

Griff turned around in his chair. "Ho' There!" He screamed to the waitress. "Great, he's drunk." Raiden sunk into his hands. He was going to be embarrassed.

Some say I sway my hips just so in order to attract the attention of future clients. In my defense, my training is so much a part of me, I am not aware of many of my actions. Still, people will believe as they wish to believe.

My eyes caught each of the faces at the table, taking that moment to peer into their souls and see what their pleasure was. It was Griff that screamed for attention. Smiling at the older human, I made my way to his side first.

"Hello, Gentlemen," I began in my silken voice, my blue eyes looking down at Griff, especially. "You both look as if in need of a drink," I said, finally letting my eyes drift to the Zabrak and lingering there. "Ale?"

"I'm sorry my lady." Raiden said he got up gently and walked over to Griff placing a hand onto his friend's shoulder. "My friend has had too much to drink. I should apologize for his actions, if you may accept my apology." Raiden smiled. "Perhaps I shall buy you a drink?"

Griff snorted and laughed. "Oh my! This boy is a joke! Waitress go get me some Ale! On the double! Pretty lady!" Griff swayed off and on his chair, he was about to fall. Raiden let him go, he needed a lession.

"Again, i'm terribly sorry." Raiden said seriously. Raiden let his hood fall off the top of his head, it fell near his shoulders and hung there. Atlas a quick breeze of air rushed over his head and he felt it. The rush reminded him of many different things. He was happy, it was a happy feeling.

With a worried look over my shoulder, I caught the eye of the bartender who threw down his towel and pointed to two of the bouncers to help out. Unable to keep the older man from falling, I knelt down beside him and placed my cool hand to his brow, eyes looking up to the Zabrak as I cradled his friend's head in my lap.

"There is no need to apologize, m'lord," I told him, just as help arrived for the poor man.

Unlike other establishments, Fortun ran a tight ship and saw that there was a sitting room in which those who had indulged too much could sober a little.

Stretching out a hand to the Zabrak, I looked up and smiled genuinely, hoping he would offer a hand to help me to my feet.

Raiden generously reached for her hand, her hand was warm. He could sense the beauty in her and he smiled at the presence. He helped the lady to her feet and allowed her to stand. All at this he smiled.

"My friend her is Griff. Is there anything you can do to manage to get him sober? Well." Raiden looked around the room a little bit. He came up with a a solution. "Does this Cantina have any rooms open? I'll pay his way into an room. My lady please do accept my apology." Again Raiden smiled. The lady made him feel safe, although secretly he was a wandering Shade Knight.

He still followed the Shade's Morals, although they weren't strict. He loved to have them in his life and had the chance to learn them.

"If I may, what is your name?" Raiden questioned the lady in front of him.

Gracefully, rising to my feet, I blushed at the gentle way he treated me. This was a man who knew how to treat a lady. Lowering my eyes, I slowly withdrew my hand from his and clasped both in front of me.

"Not the Cantina," I said in a soft voice, looking up at him through my eyelashes. "There is a respectable inn two establishments down with rooms available. Yet, Fortun, the bartender," I said, turning to look at the man behind the bar before turning back to the Zabrak, "might be able to offer your friend a cup of coffee. Come," I offered, turning to lead him to the bar.

With my head bowed, I walked before him, placing a hand on a patron here or there to step them from bumping into us. My reputation was well known here, though I was not an employee of the cantina.

Finally, reaching the bar, I turned back to the stranger and lowered my eyes once more as he inquired about my name. "Kaori S'gaat, m'lord," I replied with a blush. Slowly, raising my eyes to his, I tilted my head, my eyes studying his face. "If you would give me your name, m'lord, I can contact the inn to see if they have a room available."

Before leaving Griff, Raiden made sure he wouldn't of fell. He'd rather be with the lady anyhow. He pushed his way past the patrons just as she had done. This was a few times being here, Griff was pretty well known. Raiden was not.

"Kaori, that's beautiful." Raiden smiled, "My name is Raiden, that other foe is Griff and getting us into an inn would be a wonderful favor. You've been a major help, I appreciate it greatly. I'll remember you forever." Raiden smiled, the blushing girl made him happy. He didn't have a chance to really find a great companion.

But Raiden held secrets. As a former Shade Knight his only companion became his master and that of Griff. He was indeed looking for a new friend, possibly a lover. The shade morals allowed him to do this, rather then those of the Jedi Order.

Raiden offered his hand to Kaori to help her threw the crowd.

"Raiden," I said as if trying it on her tongue first, blushing at his eloquence. "A noble name," I told him before turning to sweet talk Fortun to allow me to slip behind the bar and contact the inn for him. Keeping my face turned toward him, I smiled at him making him believe he was the only one in the room to which I had eyes for. In short order, I had procured a room and returned to his side.

"The inn has your reservation, m'lord. They have even offered to give assistance to your friend, Griff, did you say?" I asked. Yet, as he offered his hand, I glanced at it and my smile faltered a little. "Why don't you see to your friend, m'lord, and we pick up where we left off," I said with a glitter to my eyes and a smile that usually won over my clients.

Raiden moved his hand to the lady, he was encouraging her to grab it. He wanted her to. "I appreciate it my lady, i'll return to my friend. What is to become of you? Are you going to remain here?" Raiden turned around, hoping she'd grab his hand he either would of led her back to Griff nor made a passage way for her to walk through.

Arriving at the table in which the lady and Raiden met, he glimmered at Griff. He was quite embarrassing. He finally fell over. Raiden let go of the her hand and kneeled down beside Griff, he managed to get him up onto the chair.

"Ge.. me.. t..e **** outa here." Griff slumbered, he was definitely not sober. Raiden shook his head. He didn't want this lady to be in front of this. "I'll return him to the inn and possibly come back. I wish to speak to you more, how does that sound to you? Maybe you can be my personal taxi." He smiled at Kaori, he meant what he said in a good way. She was obviously winning him over.

I was hesitant about taking his hand again, but I knew he truly wished to do so. He did not seem to grasp just who and what I was, I believe now. "I have a few errands, but you can usually find me here," I offered to him, brushing him off lightly, but leaving the door open for future possibilities.

Finally, giving him my hand, I followed him back to his table and watched as he tended to his friend. "There is no hurry, m'lord," I offered with a genuine smile and a slight tilt of my head. "I would be more at ease if I knew your friend was in good hands."

"I shall return, I offer you my gratitude and my very own service. My lady please, i'll return as a friend. I want to learn more about you, as i'm sure you do me. I have to take my filthy friend here away." Raiden nodded, he lifted his hood and his head now became dark. He reached down and remarkable grabbed the mans arm and pushed it over his body. Lifting the old man over his shoulder he made his way to the door. He looked back before he left.

During the walk, Raiden was impressed by the lady. He found his way to the inn nearby. He checked in and located the room. Before checking in he remembered the generosity shown by the lady Kaori, as she calls herself. He gave her his name and that's all he needed to do. Now he really wanted to get to know her. He layed the old man onto the bed and wrapped his body into covers, placing him in the embracing, everlasting warmth of the blankets. He returned the the inn's lobby and made his way out.

Upon arrival at the Cantina he made his way inside, his eyes roamed looking for the lady again.

A small gust of wind ruffled the piece of paper Pete held, twisting it slightly in his light grip. The only thing scribbled upon it in his own hand was the name of the bar he sought, no locations, planet, or names. Exactly the way he liked it, and it was even on a real piece of paper, tangible trash for his company to clean up later. The paper ruffled once more from the wind on Eriadu, except this time Pete let it flutter into the wind.

Clasping his hands in front of him, the Co-leader of Cosmos walked into the local bar in search of a possible new client of his, a one Kaori S'gaat. Heading straight to the bar-tender, who was scrubbing clean the inside of a mug, Pete posed his question.

“Would you happen to know a Kaori S'gaat?” The man simply gestured with his half clean mug towards a young woman cleaning up a few beers at a nearby table. And what a sight she was, absolutely breathtaking. She would be perfect.

“Hello Miss S'gaat?” Pete said alerting the girl to his presence, “I am here in behalf of Cosmos, can I talk to you for a few moments?”

Watching as the pair left, I waited until they were gone before redistributing the pitcher of ale to a nearby table, not wanting it to go to waste. The table of weapons merchants gave a hoot at my generosity and one even tried to pull me into his lap. Yet, with a gentleness, I managed to slip away, shaking my head and chuckling as I moved to another nearby table. Men became like boys when in a large group and spirits flowing.

You can believe I was surprised to hear a voice I was not familiar with call my name. Putting my best smile on my face, I turned and batted my eyelashes at him a couple of times while bowing my head. "I am as you say," I answered in a silken tone. Moving further from the table of the rowdy men so that I could hear him better. As he continued, my lips parted and I dropped my gaze. He had gotten my letter afterall.

"Of course," I said with excitement glittering in my eyes. "Please, have a seat," I offered, motioning him to a nearby table in a somewhat secluded portion of the cantina. It was much quieter here. "I must say that I am surprised to hear from Cosmos so soon," I answered frankly, looking away from him only briefly to see the Zabrak already had returned. "Would you care for a drink, m'lord?" I asked, wanting to make him as comfortable as possible and hoping he would find me agreeable.

Raiden hadn't saw the lady, he only returned to his table where he sat once with Griff. He was hoping she'd come back. If not it was just a sorry attempt to actually start a conversation with a "real" person. He felt sorry, but he let it slip. He couldn't get worked up. He still had hope the girl would talk to him again, but he only sat, waiting.

His eyes in a gaze.

(Let's stick with order then it's: Iidesia, FaMiLy, Dakar. Nobody went out of order, I'm just saying I hate whenever people do. xD)

“My Business partner and I where in a nearby star system when we received it, so it was just a quick stop over.” Pete commented as he was lead to a table in a far more... secluded area, a place he has seen far too often in his normal line of work. Smoothing out his suit before sitting down into the booth, he also checked to make sure that the three things he never left home without were there; hold-out blaster, data-pad, and a high class assortment of fine death sticks.

“Uh, a local Ale if you would be so kind Miss S'gaat. I find that their brew is more flavorful then that liquid galactic companies churn out.” As she glided away in search of one, Pete took the time to take out his trusted data-pad and discreetly snap a photo of the gentlemen who had just walked into the bar, a Zabrak if he wasn't mistaken. Once the photo had been successfully logged in his records, he placed the pad in front of him, and awaited his drink to arrive.

Upon Kaori's return he motioned slightly to the man that had just walked in; “That man appears to be searching for someone, and I would be shocked if it wasn't you. As I find it easiest to observe from afar, would you mind helping him Miss S'gaat, and I'll see how you do what it is that you do.” A smile on his face as he finished.

Gracefully, I set the full glass of ale before him and looked to where he was pointing, leaning close. My laugh was light as I saw of whom he spoke. Of course it would be the Zabrak.

"That depends, m'lord," I answered huskily, my lips just inches from his ear. "If he is willing to pursue my company, will you be covering my fees?" I leaned back with mirth in my eyes as I saw the look upon his face and rose. "I can only give you a small taste of what I do with no contract struck between my client and I," I added with remorse, though my eyes looked to him with desire and passion.

My eyes then shifted to the Zabrak, noting how he waited for me to appear at his side again, a smile edging up my face. With a final nod of my head to the gentleman of Cosmos, I turned and headed to the Zabrak's table.

Arriving just behind him, knowing how loud it could be in the cantina at this hour, I laid a gentle hand on his shoulder and leaned to his ear. "I hope it is I whom you are awaiting, m'lord?" I said softly.

Raiden smiled gently, he turned and said, "It is. But if you are busy, I can go. You seem to be a busy girl, are you not? My lady if you wish you may take a seat. Otherwise I can come by tomorrow nor maybe not. Griff may have other plans in mind." Raiden was so pleased to see the lady again. He smiled upon eye contact. He didn't pay any mind to what was going on around him, his eyes and heart was focused more on the lady.

He waited for her reply, although he would wait forever.

(I spoke with Dakar and he said we should go on. He'll step in when he's ready to go on with his end.)

My brows drew together as a pained expression crossed my face at his words, letting him know how desperately I longed for his company this night. I gracefully sat down at his side, scooting the chair closer as I reached down to take his hand in my own. "I have all the time in the world for you, m'lord, yet..." I started and broke off, casting my gaze downward and releasing his hand.

"Do you wish me to leave you? I understand if there are other matters to which you need to be about. I will leave if that is your wish," I added, looking as if my very heart had been broken.

(Okay then.)

Raiden was surprised at first with her reaching for his hand. She longed earlier whenever he offered it to her himself, before he had left to take Griff away. "My lady," Raiden said and at the instant. He put his bandaged hand onto her chin and lifted it up. His eyes met hers, "You have my time. I longed to see you, it's only right." He smiled. "Anyhow, i'd rather with you then with Griff." He let out a slight laugh.
