This is where I'm going to hammer things together, cover them in flex tape, and then stare at them for countless hours in hope something sticks out, feels good, and is useable as a character, mechanic, or whatever!

And sometimes I'll just drool on things.

Feel free to DM me on anything you see interesting in here!

Never got to play (or finish her) for the last timeline, so I'm just copy-pasting this here and fixing her up for this one!

"I knew joy. I also knew love, lust, anger, and hate. I knew their friends and families, their lovers and enemies, and once I even shared them with others. Yet, now all I know is agitation. Agitation at the pity the others have for me. Agitation that charity is what others believe I need to succeed. I don't need them. I don't need ANYONE. I have everything I need, and soon, everything I want will be within my grasp..."

- Seuxri Zi Rain

DISCLAIMER: (Some words below have hidden descriptors, so hover over them!)

Seuxri Zi Rain was once a child of the times, born to a silver-spoon family, heir to a multi-million credit corporation, and filled with wanderlust and an insatiable desire to sate her curiosity about the stars and the mechanics therein. She wanted nothing more than to make her family proud and succeed in school, striving to be at the top of her class and potentially even a Graduate with Honors from the Zeltros Academy of Higher Learning.

Unfortunately, life (or perhaps even the Force) had different plans for Seuxri. When she was only seventeen Zeltran Springs old, the landspeeder her family was using to vacation on the beach of one of Zeltros coasts, spiraled out of control and crashed killing her father, mother, and her baby sister.

Only Seuxri survived.

Having sustained major injuries, including a fractured skull, severe brain trauma, third-degree burns, several destroyed vertebrae and a severed spinal cord, Seuxri woke from a brief coma only to be told she would never again be able to use anything from the neck down. Even her speech center had been harmed, making the task of sounding out simple words a monumental effort. Forced to rely on expensive medical treatments to survive, Seuxri quickly became a drain on her family's remaining resources, and with no living relatives to pursue for help, she was wholly alone in her torment.

Yet, despite her condition and the loss of those closest to her, Seuxri refused to surrender to a life of impotence and pursued a promising alternative: Cybernetics. It was only after a few years of experimental treatments involving implants in her spinal column, that she regained the mobility of her upper body, and from there began to take matters into her own hands. Using what remained of her family's significant fortune, Seuxri made significant investments in the corporate sector to assist in the development of medicine, both radical and conservative methods. As many of them have thus paid off, she has increased her financial wealth significantly.

Though doesn't currently (at least publicly) affiliate herself with any known corporations directly, her insights have proven valuable to companies with a strong focus on cybernetics and medicine. Thus she has taken it upon herself to continue freelancing, pushing the boundaries of the cybernetics industries with up-and-coming radical inventions that, one day, may just make it out of the prototype stage.

More recently, however, Seuxri has begun to feel... different. She's becoming more aware of her immediate surroundings and what may lie beyond the physical veil, as the force calls to her as it does to all that is sensitive to its flow. Though not entirely convinced she may be connected to this metaphysical phenomenon in the same way the Jedi and the Exiles are, Seuxri has started to dig around for information on them, their religion, and items that may prove to be invaluable in her quest for knowledge--and control--of the Force. If there's at least the possibility she can use the Force to help herself walk again, or regain what she had lost, she can't afford to pass the opportunity up...

OTHER INFORMATION

  • Despite her accident, Seuxri still somehow manages to be an exemplar of Zeltran beauty. With the assistance of a variety of electrodes, machines, and cybernetic implants, she has retained enough motor function to keep her body healthy and curvy, with skin as clean and unblemished as the day she was born. From her long wavy deep blue bangs that spill down the curve of her back and the rise of her bosom to her thick thighs, the gap between and her dainty toes, she is a Goddess on her throne. No less, hidden beneath the shapely tight bodysuit she typically wears are a series of plugs embedded along her spine and robotic joints that are visible at her elbows and knees where reconstructive surgery barely saved her life.

  • STRENGTH
    ██████████
Seuxri's physiology is the result of a painstaking effort to maintain her beauty; from advanced medical treatments to direct cybernetic augmentation, the Zeltron has dumped millions of credits into cosmetics and reconstructive surgery to design a facade that is irresistible even to some aliens. However, despite her healthy appearance, she still requires external help to move, such as robotic servos and exoskeletal supports, and when she lacks possession of either, a simple chair outfitted with repulsors that give her the mobility she needs without exhausting her limited stamina.

    DEXTERITY
    ██████████
With all of her enhancements and external help, such as droids, exoskeletal supports, and other electronic and medical devices, Seuxri could paint a picture in such detail that it would make a Rodian art dealer weep. However, lacking any of that, she finds it difficult to keep her hands still and even harder to move her limbs without feeling significant amounts of pain.

    STAMINA
    ██████████
As it is with everything else when it comes to physical activity, every movement she makes unassisted and alone is exhausting and a feat on its own. She tires quickly and requires frequent rest to stay at the top of her game, even mentally. Though a variety of inventions and medicinal boosters help, there's little she can actually accomplish, quickly, without them.

    INTELLIGENCE
    ██████████
Though her body may have been damaged and wasted away, her mind only grew stronger after the accident. She has a new profound view of the universe and a respect for the entropy that constantly engulfs it. Most of her time, when she's not working, she's studying or reading literature to keep her mind as sharp as a vibroblade. Seuxri has realized that she's a quick learner and foreign ideas and difficult puzzles are unraveled quickly beneath her scrutinizing gaze.

    WISDOM
    ██████████
Though not always true, with knowledge comes wisdom, and Seuxri has learned more about the galaxy and the underlying forces beneath it than most have in a lifetime. Her easy start and coming hardships have prepared her for the universe at large, and though there's still an unquantifiable number of things she doesn't know, she strives to learn about them and to abide by the laws of the galaxy and the force within.

    CHARISMA
    ██████████
Even in her damaged state, without the aid of her potent pheromones to alter the perceptions of Zeltrons and aliens alike, Seuxri is drop dead gorgeous. Even the scars she bares across her body do little to detract from her natural beauty and almost supernatural allure. Beyond a base level, coupled with her pheromones, her empathic abilities, her skill with words and a silver tongue, Seuxri is a beast of beauty and a force to be reckoned with when it comes to the mating game.

  • XF-0001 Prototype Repulsor Chair
Though not currently on the market, the XF-0001 (Click Me!) is a prototype of what is essentially a wheelchair without the wheels. Using sophisticated repulsorlifts usually outfitted on small swoops and landspeeders, with a variety of rechargeable power sources built into the chair itself, the XF-0001 is Seuxri's primary means of mobility. She's rarely ever out of, or far away from, this specific means of movement, often requiring it at nearly all times of the day. She hopes the XF-0001 will eventually take off and earn her a reputation amongst the industry she's trying so hard to get into.

    XF-EX02
Another item invented in the privacy of her estate and sophisticated workshop, the XF-EX02 Mobility Assistant (Click Me!) is a product that's been recently released (through a series of companies she has a contract with) within the core worlds for medical purposes. Capable of giving an individual almost 90% of their mobility back, this somewhat cumbersome exoskeleton is useless for anything other than walking and talking. Though she doesn't always use it, when she does she makes every effort to wear it with pride, believing that this is merely a stepping stone towards smaller and sleeker robotics and assisted living devices in the future. The device itself cannot, and does not, give users (even healthy ones) superhuman traits of any kind, and it is as fragile as any mechanical device of its design can be.

    D-0-C Medical Droids
Seuxri has purchased a small starship's worth of D-0-C Medical Droids (Click Me!) from Moonbell Medical Engineering. They can be found everywhere she is, with one usually in tow wherever she goes, especially on whatever starship she books during off-world vacations or business meetings. Her droids specifically are plated in a ruby-red metal with her house's sigil imprinted on their left breast, visible to all who wonder about their ownership. Almost daily, she requires the assistance of a D-0-C to maintain her cybernetic implants, and though she can do it herself with some difficulty, it's easier to have her droid servants attune them instead.

    Various Astromech Droids
Though not in any significant number, Seuxri has a handful of astromech droids at her disposal, mainly to help maintain her estate, any starships she may acquire in the future, and no less, her repulsorlift chair. Though she wants to eventually modify some of them for espionage purposes, she's yet to move into that sector of "business".

    Pheromones
Seuxri, like other Zeltrons, is capable of secreting pheromones in strong doses that can quickly waft about and blanket a room. Sometimes, when exposed to her pheromones and without the willpower to resist, an individual can quickly find themselves transfixed with her every movement and obedient to even the subtlest verbal notions. Usually, however, those exposed simply want to hop on the good foot and do the bad thing.

    Empathic Telepathy
Unlike most Zeltrons, Seuxri's empathic abilities are not tactile in nature. She is capable of reaching out and sensing the emotions of other living beings. This makes her a dangerous dealer at the diplomatic table and a cruel card player. She uses this to her advantage whenever it comes to business and pleasure, and with her mild connection to the force, she is actually capable of manipulating others emotions.

    The Force
Seuxri possesses a strong but subconscious connection to the force that enhances her natural abilities, such as her telepathy (allowing her to reach into other minds as she does) and the effects of her pheromones. Though her empathic abilities are enough to sense when she is in danger from an individual, the force often tends to churn her tummy and stir bad feelings in her gut when a less obvious threat is present, or when she faces some other danger that manifests from the metaphysical. Though she has yet to learn how to use the force to manipulate anything in the physical world, she is aware of its existence and is quietly seeking a way to control it for her own benefit.

This is something I've been batting around for two years and debating bringing here! It's mostly finished and I tweaked it to try and fit the new timeline.

Edit: I hand-made a logo using photoshop for the faction! Put SO MUCH more detail into the faction and species, and found a pretty cool reference (that I didn't make) for the S'Jeddani themselves.

Edit 2: I made a BBOX thingy! It's not the most gorgeous thing in the universe, but I think it does the trick! Can't wait to put the app in, even if the answer is a big fat negative. What do you guys think?

S'JEDDANI

SUMMARY

The inhabitants of the Sphere of Inkorus are relative newcomers to the galactic community, having utilized hyperdrive only two-hundred years ago within the southernmost fringes of the unknown regions, where a rogue star system sits at the edge of the Galaxy in what is known as Darkspace. The Sphere possesses a sophisticated feudal society divided by 5 clans, all of which serve beneath an "Immortal Emperor" who has existed since their rise to become an interstellar civilization. Their level of technological advancement is comparable to the early Empire (0-BBY to 30-ABY) with a strong focus on terraforming, droid technology, and projectile weaponry. The S'Jeddani are hyper-aggressive and territorial; everything they do is in benefit to themselves and their families, and they see other species as little more than a nuisance to be eradicated, enslaved, or used as food.

The inhabitants of the Sphere of Inkorus call themselves the S'jeddani, and they constitute a single ruling species with an estimated 13.6 trillion souls belonging to their empire, and a large fraction of them (around 8 trillion) serve in Clan Militaries and the Imperial Guard. Recent overpopulation of the homeworld and scarcity of food has forced the S'Jeddani into the frontier of the Unknown Regions, and they have begun quick and extensive colonization efforts in order to alleviate the demands of their rapidly growing population. Since their arrival in the Unknown Regions some two-hundred years ago, several formerly advanced civilizations on the outskirts of the galaxy have been brutally conquered and eradicated, and other nearby worlds have been painted as potential targets for future conquests. Species that have not been eradicated by the S'Jeddani now serve in massive slave armies used to strip-mine worlds and as frontline fodder for other conquests.

BIOLOGY
(Diet, Breeding, Strengths, & Weaknesses...)

The S'jeddani stand on average at a height of 2.7 meters (around nine feet tall) and possess a vaguely bipedal humanoid shape but with a noticeably stockier build and four identical arms. Their musculature is very dense and compact, giving them a bulky appearance, and their skin appears to be composed of a mix of leathery epidermal layers beneath overlapping scales, and thick vertical ridges along their spine. The S'jeddani typically come in a combination of four colors: Blue, red, green, and orange with contrasting stripes of similar color and bright blue (and sometimes orange) eyes that rarely ever differ from those mediums. The S'Jeddani have prominently curved and oblong-shaped heads with plates and ridges that line their brow, arch across the top of their heads and down along their spines, while their faces are adorned with smooth scaled-fins along their jaw and around their ears.

Despite their physical resemblance and genetic similarities to reptiles and snakes, the S'Jeddani do not possess tails.

Beneath the layers of compact muscle tissue all S'Jeddani share, their skeletal structure is a highly complex combination of cartilage, tendons, and more than six-hundred individual bones creating the support their large and powerful bodies need. As much of their internal anatomy is comparable to the biology of a rancor, their bone structure is highly durable yet malleable, capable of bending and twisting without breaking, with tendons that have slightly more 'give' than in most humanoids. This unique limberness allows them to stretch and/or dislocate portions of their skeletal structure, either to free a trapped limb or squeeze into tight (not unreasonably tight, they are large, bulky creatures), awkward spaces. This, along with their massive size, makes the S'Jeddani physically durable and difficult to harm, letting them fall from great heights or take considerable physical punishment without injury.

Perhaps one of the most frightening features on the typical S'Jeddani are their jaws; composed of three different bones in the lower jaw, they can widely distend their mouths, as a relic from their time as feral apex predators. They once did this to swallow their prey whole, but it has become taboo in their modern culture (and frankly, difficult to do). S'Jeddani tongues are interesting in their own way in that they do not begin in the mouth, but start from the base of the throat and are separated into three prongs of varying sizes, usually between two to three feet in length. Their tongues are also abnormally strong for prehensile muscles with no cartilage or bone structure, capable of wrapping tightly around an object, while the three prongs on the tips are capable of manipulating and handling said object like small fingers.

S'Jeddani internal organs are not that different from most humanoids, they possess a singular, multi-chambered heart, two lungs, and a complex digestive tract that keeps their metabolism strong and their body-heat regulated. Because of their origins on a glacial world, the S'Jeddani are hot-blooded with an average 'safe' body temperature of 62 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit) and prefer extremely cold environments usually below -150 degrees Celsius (-283 degrees Fahrenheit) and favor either frozen, tundra, or barren worlds for colonization. The S'Jeddani are capable of surviving in slightly warmer temperatures with minor discomfort, but temperatures higher than -20 degrees Celsius are generally considered unliveable without extreme genetic engineering and/or cybernetic augmentation.

The S'Jeddani are in a state of near-constant hunger, as their extreme metabolism causes their bodies to burn off energy at an excessive rate. Thus, they require frequent nourishment, an average of 2kgs of fat and 3kgs of protein daily to maintain peak efficiency. Because of their extreme metabolism coupled with their consistent need for food, the S'Jeddani have developed powerful acids within their digestive tracts which is capable of breaking down some raw minerals and metals without any prior preparation.

Though the S'Jeddani can technically eat anything, classified as omnivores, they prefer living prey and devour every aspect of their kills, including the skeletal structure.

The S'Jeddani are nocturnal in nature, as they possess heightened senses, with their eyes being highly sensitive to light thanks to cones that allow them to see on the infrared spectrum (allowing them to "see" heat in most living creatures, without obscuring detail on a normal visual spectrum). However, this makes it difficult for them to function in bright environments without genetic engineering. With their noses, they are capable of tracking scents across great distances, and they are able to hear with greater clarity than the average humanoid while being capable of discerning individual sounds from a chorus.

Sexual dimorphism exists to the extreme in S'Jeddan culture, as size and height are generally some of the best indicators in determining gender, though males and females still vary greatly in both small and large sizes. Females are statistically the largest and strongest of the species by sometimes a very large margin and possess a variety of features that males lack. For instance, females possess larger muscles, fangs, and sharper teeth than their male counterparts, and their hands and feet end with wicked, razor-sharp talons instead of dull blunt nails as many males' do. It is theorized that before their evolution into a sentient species, the S'Jeddani females handled all the hunting and gathering of their pride, similar to most large pack-animal felines. With females' larger musculature comes increased durability and strength, making them easily capable of overpowering their male consorts in a physical struggle.

Unlike their male counterparts, females produce a unique neurotoxin within their saliva that is capable of numbing the nerve endings of the average humanoid, and if introduced to the bloodstream in large amounts, even paralyzing them. This same neurotoxin also acts as a natural antiseptic and is capable of cleaning wounds when something more sanitary is not within reach.

The S'Jeddani strongly believe in what they called "Genetic Destiny" and a majority of them have turned away from genetic engineering and most common vaccines. Because of this, and after centuries of evolution, the S'Jeddani possess a powerful immune system resistant to most worldly diseases and poisons. Relative to this, it is extremely rare to see a S'Jeddani come down with an illness or to get an infection from a wound. S'Jeddani are also equally resistant to medical treatment in the form of antivenoms, antivirals, and other vaccines or inoculations of any sort, making it difficult to treat them for any sort of illness should they catch one or put them under with anesthesia for surgery or simply to subdue.

The genetic defect they suffer from is considered by the population at large as a trial they must naturally overcome, and research pertaining to (and any attempt at curing it) has been banned throughout S'Jeddani space. In reality, however, this "genetic defect" is actually a preprogrammed sequence of altered genes introduced into the S'Jeddani genome by their former rulers, in order to control their explosive population. As it was created by a precursor race with insidious intelligence, this defect is and would be, extremely difficult to fix even with the New Republic's insights and medical technology, and is programmed to genetically and rapidly kill the host (or decay the host tissue, assuming a biopsy) should anyone try.

S'Jeddani individuals possess unusually short lifespans for creatures their size, with the oldest of them having only reached the young age of 27 years as part of their genetic defect. Because of this, the S'Jeddani live fast and die hard, and war is a way of life between their individual Houses and casualties are regular. Fortunately, the S'Jeddani reproduce rapidly, with the females often giving birth to clutches of twenty offspring on average with only a period of gestation sitting around four months. S'Jeddani offspring typically reach adulthood within four years. This makes their explosive population an important issue with the S'Jeddani government and is the primary motivator for their now rapid and aggressive expansion into the Unknown Regions.

Like most species in the galaxy, the S'Jeddani are force-sensitive creatures.

BEHAVIOR & TEMPERMANT

The S'Jeddani are hyper-aggressive and warlike, and as such, tend to socialize poorly with other species of the galaxy. Almost all S'Jeddani share a natural revulsion towards alien races likely brought on by their mythology and history as slaves to the Rakata and its Infinite Empire and their military is not above wiping out entire worlds of sentient life to better secure their borders. At the same time, infighting amongst the S'Jeddani is extremely common, and "Legal Wars" have been instituted to help this species manage their numbers and aggression by their current Government.

First contact with other alien races will usually always go poorly.

COMMUNICATION

The S'Jeddani possess their own language that, though easily translated, comes in a series of guttural clicks and growls. They have no official name for their spoken language. Unlike many of their brethren within the Sphere of Inkorus, the S'Jeddani of clan Uolite are typically capable of speaking basic because of their interaction with other alien races.

RELIGION

Originally, S'Jeddani religion was an offshoot of old tribal mythologies. Raised to believe in over one-hundred deities, the S'Jeddani didn't have a core figure in their religion until their unification by Kassix, in which their savior coined the name "Inkorus" (and incidentally, named their star system in his honor).

Inkorus is one of the most powerful of all gods in their religion, he is the father of all the S'Jeddani people, and according to Kassix, the one that gifted their Emperor with his supernatural abilities. Inkorus is supposedly omnipotent and omnipresent, always watching and subtly guiding his people with a deft touch while leaving a majority of their fate in their own hands. To believe in Inkorus, to the S'Jeddani, is to believe in the strength to mold one's own destiny.

Like all gods, Inkorus has a lover, the mother of the S'Jeddani, and arguably to some, the strongest mythical figure in their mythology. Going by the name Mauros, she is a powerful but incredibly greedy being that encourages her children to not only control their destiny but to assert dominance and control the destinies of others. In their mythology, other alien species were also a creation of Mauros who were destined originally to be her inheritors until Inkorus gave her stronger, more intelligent children in the form of the S'Jeddani.

Beneath Inkorus and Mauros however, are countless other gods numbering in the thousands. The S'Jeddani have a god for every noun in their dictionary, with Kassix being the only living being they have labeled a Living God. Kassix himself has said he is the first child of Inkorus and Mauros, and it is with their power that he rules over the S'Jeddani today.

CULTURE

zLa4noM.png

THE SPHERE OF INKORUS
The Inner and Outer Sphere

The Sphere of Inkorus is divided into two parts, the Inner-Sphere which encompasses the star system Inkorus, and the Outer-Sphere, which encompasses Braaxa, and all of the Sphere's future colonies within the Unknown Regions and Wild Space. The Inner-Sphere is where all of the S'Jeddani's major political decisions are made and where the Sphere's ruler, Emperor Kassix, reigns from and over the myriad of government houses that constitute the Sphere's feudal empire on the capital world of S'Jei. The Inner-Sphere possesses a vast interstellar presence within the Inkorus star system consisting of hundreds of starbases and hundreds-of-thousands of ships, both civilian and military, and is victim to constant civil strife between the clans where "Legal Wars" are waged for power and the Emperor's favor, and secret wars take place within the countless trade guilds that keep the Sphere's economy booming and the population as stable as possible.

The Inner Sphere

The Sovereign Keepers of Kassix

Very little is known about the Sovereign Keepers beyond that they are outfitted with the finest technology, possess the largest and most formidable starships, and have the best training out of any active military personnel in the entirety of S'Jeddani space. On the surface, they operate as peace-keepers, moderating the many legal wars that occur between the clans, but can be potentially used for any purpose at Kassix's command. The Sovereign Keepers of Kassix is the only S'Jeddani faction that commands the highly advanced and terrible Ixor battlecruisers and their large compliments of Banner droids, not to mention Kassix's own throneship, the "Sword of Inkorus", a massive superweapon that intimidates the clans and forces them to obey every letter of Kassix's law.

Clan Kaliton

As the largest of the clans serving beneath the Sphere's banner, Clan Kaliton is a formidable presence in both the financial and industrial sectors of S'Jei. With a large military presence to back-up their claims on several remote planetoids orbiting Inkorus (with around seventeen-thousand starships in military service), other clans typically avoid direct confrontation and prefer to fight them using capital gains and corporate hostile takeovers.

The Kaliton family is ruled by three individuals, usually a father or mother and two of their eldest children. The next in line to rule is designated through trial by combat where the two eldest children must fight to the death. The victor and his next two children become the rulers of the Clan Kaliton, while the loser's immediate offspring are executed or exiled from Kaliton territory.

The current rulers of Clan Kaliton are King Goreras and his two children, Princess Ithikarus and Prince Mattagora. King Goreras is the eldest known living S'Jeddani to date at 37 years, only second to the Immortal Emperor, and is far more diplomatic and forthcoming than his peers.

Clan Refinika

The Refinika is the second-largest clan within the Sphere, but also the most ruthless. With no desire to make peace between itself and any of its neighboring states, Clan Refinika is in a state of perpetual warfare with the other clans, constantly attempting to take territory while only just staying within the letter of Kassix's laws. The districts that the Refinika control are industrial in nature, with a large focus on the fabrication of personal weapons and vehicles used in many of the Sphere's land-engagements with alien enemies.

The civilian districts themselves are little more than slums and have no governing laws that protect clan civilians as others do. In Clan Refinika the law is simple: Keep what you kill, survive if you can. It's this rule that helps Clan Refinika find the strong by culling the weak and this process only adds to Refinika's ruthless dogma.

Clan Refinika itself is comprised, unfortunately, of the descendants of the last nation-states that resisted Kassix's rule, and though there are no living survivors today that tell of the apocalypse brought to their old lands long ago, the stories live on amongst the Refinika as a legend and stand as a solid reminder of both Kassix's wrath and mercy.

Clan Refinika is ruled by gang bosses whose numbers and names change every other day, either from being murdered or usurped by someone stronger. For this reason, diplomacy--outside of Kassix's commanding them himself--is impossible.

Clan Detstradex

Uncompromisingly paranoid and duplicitous is the best way to describe the leading members of Clan Detstradex. Organized into a shadow organization known in S'Jeddani tongue as the Assembly of Dusk, Clan Detstradex has the single largest spy organization in all of the Sphere, with several members posing as Uolite civilians within the Outer Sphere itself. Though no one knows whom the official heads of the Detstradex are, it is known there are only six at any one time.

Unsurprisingly, Clan Detstradex has dealings with every other clan in the Sphere (with the exception of Clan Refinika), and thus shares in all of their resources and profits while generally providing information that helps the highest bidder in any conflict, whether it be for territory or capital gain. Officially, Clan Detstradex has no known military and only serves in matters of espionage and subterfuge. Unofficially, Clan Detstradex is building a massive military fleet of cloaked starships that go uncatalogued with a secret decree from Kassix himself.

It is unknown what purpose this fleet serves, or even where it's hiding, but those close to Kassix have heard rumors the Emperor is preparing for a major offensive into the Unknown Regions, with Clan Detstradex as the vanguard.

Clan Mantlegor

As the self-proclaimed peacekeepers of the Five Clans, Clan Mantelgor is dedicated to serving Kassix as a large police force, keeping constant tabs on the other four clans and their activities within Sphere space. Though technically they do not possess a military, their vessels are military in design, created to be capable of contending with and easily overcoming hostile vessels, their own or alien.

Clan Mantelgor also serves as a "House of Judges" for Kassix, where perpetrators and law-breakers are taken before a court and judged by the Adjudicator of Kassix: The leader of Clan Mantelgor. Clan Mantelgor works closely with the Sovereign Keepers of Kassix to keep the peace within the Inner Sphere, but the Outer Sphere, as it is with all clans except Uolite, are completely in control of Clan Uolite's courts.

The Adjudicator of Kassix has no other known name and is a female S'Jeddani of high standing. Though new to the world in comparison to the last Adjudicator (who died at 25, the new Adjudicator is only 14 in age), she has thus far served admirably and has high-favor with the Emperor.

The Outer Sphere

Clan Uolite

Unlike the Inner-Sphere, the Outer-Sphere is ruled solely by a single clan: Clan Uolite. Originally a once highly prosperous mining guild that eventually became the military powerhouse that it is today, it is guided by a council of seven representatives from each of the "core worlds" of Braaxa. Although at the seat of Clan Uolite's throne is a single Matriarch, Feryliss, that can overrule the council at any time and is only answerable to the Emperor in terms of power and accountability. Beneath her are many and countless daughters that each hold a fraction of power within the House as well, with the oldest serving as the immediate heir should the current Matriarch be killed, or die from natural causes.

Clan Uolite's military, though only the third-largest, is the most well-trained of all the seven clans, consisting of thousands of starships, seventy starbases, and three-hundred smaller outposts with a large division devoted purely to scientific research and endeavors. Clan Uolite is entirely responsible for the slow but steady spread of the Sphere's territory in the fringes of the Unknown Regions, and with several requisitions put forth to the Tiir Shipyards, Clan Uolite plans to exponentially expand its naval presence in the region.

HISTORY

latest

Though thousands of primitive civilizations before them had been conquered and uplifted to serve as slaves within the cosmos, the S'Jeddani were the most primitive and undeveloped of them all. Beginning life as simple hulking apex predators on a frozen, but hardly lifeless glacial world that had only just entered its Triassic period, the S'Jeddani were "uplifted" by a galaxy-spanning civilization called The Infinite Empire. Through the use of advanced genetic engineering and cybernetic modification, the S'Jeddani were turned from primitive apex predators to powerful and highly obedient soldiers to serve as one of the Empire's many armies. With the ability to rapidly breed, they were used at the forefront of every future invasion within the galaxy, as their numbers were easy to replace, and their dull minds made them as obedient as Banthas.

However, in the final years of the Infinite Empire's conquest, turmoil from within their own ranks began to unravel the massive, extrastellar empire they had created. Now facing civil war, all sides sought to utilize their subjugated races to conquer their old worlds. In desperation, the Rakata, an ancient (now thought to be extinct) alien race, began to modify their S'Jeddani servants into more formidable soldiers, gifting them with a less limited intelligence, allowing them to be more than simple, mindless killers and accel at warfare, where the "Old" Infinite Empire's shock troopers could not.

This would later prove to be a stepping stone in the undoing of the Infinite Empire as a whole. During the climax of their civil war, with their worlds devastated by centuries of infighting and their civilization stuck in a perpetual dark age, a single S'Jeddani figure rose from the ranks, calling himself Kassix, and began leading his people to revolt against their masters. In a bloody, millennium-long war, the S'Jeddani used their newfound intelligence and superior numbers to eventually overwhelm their Rakatan masters and escape the Infinite Empire, fleeing into darkspace with a massive fleet of stolen Rakatan starships.

As time passed, Kassix began creating an Empire at the furthest reaches of the Unknown Regions, with those that survived the Infinite Empire's destruction, calling this new kingdom the "Sphere of Inkorus" (Inkorus being the name of their primary deity and the star of their new home). For thousands of years after, the Sphere of Inkorus stood isolated from the rest of the galaxy, relying solely on the technology of their former masters to subsist.

Yet, over time, lacking the knowledge to maintain this technology nearly became the S'Jeddani's undoing. As replicators among other important items, such as starships and industrial fabrication centers, began to fall apart, their inability to repair them eventually led to the S'Jeddani fighting one-another for working scraps of technology and edible food. In the chaos, Kassix and his followers were slain, and it wasn't until nearly three thousand years later, as the last of the Infinite Empire's incredible technological marvels went dark, that the fighting finally stopped.

And it was only then that Kassix returned. As young as the day he had died and possessing powers that only the Xajuuk had ever wielded, Kassix gave his people an ultimatum: Serve him or Die. Though many of the divided factions on S'Jei gave Kassix their undying loyalty, there were many more who did not, and this sparked another lengthy conflict that nearly destroyed the S'Jeddani homeworld.

Kassix and those that served him were more than capable of crushing the smaller factions of S'Jei that did not surrender through the use of conventional warfare, but those that would not, even after their lands had been taken, were subject to punishment so severe, that after its third use, all those that opposed Kassix surrendered unconditionally, as Kassix did not return alone. Emerging from the stars like an unfathomably large leviathan from beneath an ocean of turmoil, Kassix appeared one-by-one before his enemies aboard a massive, ancient starship of unknown design, and used its terrifying power to eradicate entire nations, rendering untold acres of land uninhabitable because of the nature of the weapon.

After the third nation fell, the rest bowed, and Kassix had finally united his people once more beneath a singular banner. For the second time, the Sphere of Inkorus had risen, and with their "Immortal Emperor" now present, watching over them from his throneship and with his guidance, the S'Jeddani began rebuilding their world. Old Rakatan hulks and cities were torn down and recycled, used to make their own cities and technology, and it wasn't long before the S'Jeddani had become a spacefaring civilization in their own right.

Under Kassix's decree, the Sphere of Inkorus was divided into five clans. Five clans that were allowed, under his supervision and with a fair set of rules, to fight one another for resources and territory. During times of war, it was dictated that these clans would cease all hostilities and come together to face whatever enemies may threaten--in the present and the future--the authority of the Sphere of Inkorus.

PLANET(s)

INKORUS & BRAAXA

Inkorus is a Supergiant A-Class Blue Star with a single satellite world that orbits approximately 6.2 AU away called S'Jei and is inhabited by the S'Jeddani. S'Jei is a glacial world with temperatures dipping irregularly between -193 and -200 Celsius, making certain areas of the planet extremely cold to all but the hardiest (and most environmentally protected) S'Jeddani. Nearly 0.5 AU from that orbital path is a massive and dense cloud of asteroids called the Vayra Barrier but is rich with natural resources (such as rare metals and ice). The Vayra Barrier is home to several thousand mining installations, all titanic in size, that provide the Sphere of Inkorus with its seemingly limitless resources. Between the Vayra Barrier and S'Jei is an artificial structure that stretches nearly 1700 kilometers in diameter, with a thickness of 320 kilometers, called the Tiir Shipyards. It is a massive fully manned facility that produces most of the S'Jeddani's vessels and starbase construction platforms and where the "Hyperdrive" was first conceived.

Located deeper within the Unknown Regions, Braaxa is a K-Class Orange Star with nearly fifty-seven satellites, where seven of them orbit approximately 1.7 AU away and are colonized by the S'Jeddani. Each of these seven worlds offers a variety of biomes for the S'Jeddani colonists, and all have somewhere between five to thirteen moons in orbit and are dotted with megacities and orbital platforms serving in a variety of purposes.

TECHNOLOGY

The Sphere of Inkorus is a technologically advanced civilization on par with other major civilizations, with some advantages and weaknesses that many similar races share throughout the galaxy. Anything they find that is more advanced than their own technology (or simply just useful) are typically incorporated into their designs.

Typically, the S'Jeddani employ projectile weapons in the form of rail-guns and hypervelocity cannons as opposed to turbolasers and direct-energy weapons and have a strong focus on powerful, durable starships rather than agile, mobile ones. The Sphere of Inkorus is wholly about fortifying every inch of territory they take from others, and they have the numbers and ability to replenish them to make this work.

INTENT

To provide a new and hostile antagonist to the Galaxy (or at the very least, the fringes of the Unknown Regions and Wild Space) that aren't simply The Sith. The S'Jeddani are also as alien as they come without being too unfamiliar with plenty of inspiration taken from Mass Effect, Star Trek, and other genres that fit in perfectly with Star Wars lore, and has an obvious tie-in with "The Old Republic" storyline, concerning the Rakata and their formerly massive empire.

I want the species to be as fun to play as they are to work into plots and story archs, and approved or not, it was a blast just making this (for practice while I've been out!).

The above species totally got out of control, I think I'm gonna do something a little more tame in the Unknown Regions. But until then, character planning time! AAAAAH!

"I'm honored to serve the Empire; the last true bastion of peace, justice, and security throughout the entirety of the galaxy. My father before me served the Republic as a Fleet Commander in the 117th, and he died the day the Jedi turned against us and attempted to seize control of the senate. I know what's at stake, and I will not fail the Empire."

- Captain Amee Noon, 4 ABY
(Three Hours before the Battle of Endor)

DISCLAIMER: (Some words below have hidden descriptors, so hover over them!)

Amee Noon was once a proud Imperial Captain within the ranks of the First Galactic Empire, who, after enlisting at the Imperial Flight Academy on Kuat, graduated at the surprisingly young age of 16 and went on to become an unremarkable Tie-Fighter pilot for the next four years. It wasn't until a conflict with the Alliance to Restore the Republic over Kuat that she discovered a natural aptitude for command, and was quickly acknowledge by her superiors and shuttled off to Uyter for officer training.

After two years of at the academy and over four in active combat with the Rebel Alliance, Amee eventually earned command over her own starship, the
ISD Blacktree and was present at the frontlines of the Battle of Endor, serving valiantly and effectively until the destruction of the Executor brought mass panic and disarray to the Imperial Fleet facing off against the Alliance.

With no other choice but to flee as the Death Star II went critical and amidst a
general retreat, the ISD Blacktree went into hyperspace at the exact moment of the Death Star's destruction.

The Blacktree never arrived at its intended destination.

Officially, the Blacktree and all aboard were marked as casualties as a result of the Death Star II's detonation and the loss over Endor. However, unbeknownst to the Empire at the time, the Blacktree had not been destroyed but had been driven into an alternate dimension. Somehow, as it entered hyperspace, a burst of raw dark side energy struck the ship, destroying its hyperdrive and shunting the barely operative vessel into an alternate dimension. Though there persist no records of what occurred in this paranormal plane, it forever changed Amee Noon and the Blacktree.

THE MIND OF A HYPERSPACE HORROR

Amee Noon is no longer the honorable and steadfast Captain of old. Where there was once a mind of logic and reason now rests one driven by an unknowable and insatiable lust for the force and those who manipulate it. Amee Noon does not speak verbally, and instead communicates through the force, instilling sensations and emotions on others that often hint and describe how she feels about one subject or another. Amee arrogantly (and perhaps righteously) considers herself a Force of Nature and often seeks out force users, and even regular force-sensitive denizens of the galaxy, seeing them as a source of nourishment; little more than prey to be drained of their life and spirit.

A NEW SKIN OF SHADOW

Noon possesses no belongings with the exception of her ship and the clothing she wore when the hyperspace accident occurred. As she was mutated by exposure to the raw, dark side energies of the force that knocked them off-course, her imperial outfit was melded into her flesh and is as a second skin. Over time, as others aboard her ship were hunted down and flayed for nourishment, she has added patches and strips of their uniforms to her own body, finishing a grotesque and shadow-stained skirt and cape of darkness that shrouds her shoulders and hips.

When it comes to the constant veil of shadow that covers most of her body and a good portion of the right side of her face, it is a trick of the force, as Amee Noon is constantly bending the light around herself to conceal her more malformed features: Most of the skin on the right side of her face is missing, revealing elongated growths of bone and muscle with a maw full of sharp fangs and a serpentine black tongue that is constantly in motion within the confines of her sickly black mouth.

Noon's hands and feet also end in a sickly design, where flesh has given way to malformed growths of nail and bone that form wicked claws on the end of each finger and toe.

BEYOND THE DARK SIDE

Noon possesses other force abilities that most Sith and Jedi learn, such as Force Body, Speed, Lightning, etc, and can utilize them effectively. The above are simply the most difficult (and perhaps often used) by Noon.

  • Corruption - Noon is corrupted to the core by the dark side. It permeates every aspect of her being, from her personality to her physical appearance, and she wields it all with a sinister intellect and ill-motives.

  • Life Drain - Vital to her survival, draining the life and force from her prey is her only means of sustenance. It has allowed her to survive as long as she has and is her primary motivation to hunt other force-sensitive beings across the galaxy.

  • Hibernation - Like any Jedi or Sith, in extreme circumstances, Noon can force herself into hibernation, such is the case with her last days aboard the Blacktree while trapped in hyperspace.

  • Telepathy - Noon is capable of extraordinary feats through telepathy, transmitting feelings, sensations, and even thoughts across vast distances.

  • Mental Manipulation - Like the more powerful Jedi and Sith of the galaxy, Noon is capable of manipulating weaker minds, and through sheer willpower, even completely dominating an individuals thoughts.

  • Force Cloak - Noon is constantly shrouded in shadow, especially about her more disturbing and less-human features. This is a result of her bending light around herself using this ability.

  • Teleportation - Due to the hyperspace accident and her contact with an extradimensional plane, Noon has learned how to shift herself physically through the force, with great focus and concentration, to this dimension and back, appearing elsewhere when desired.

  • Force Absorption - In tandem with her ability to drain both the force and life from individuals, she can do the same to offensive and defensive force abilities, allowing her to withstand attacks in this manner.

THE BLACKTREE

WEJNi4B.png

With no crew, most of its Tie-Fighter and Bomber compliment missing, half of its ordinance depleted, and no functioning engines visible to the naked eye, it is a curiosity as to how this vessel is capable of interstellar flight let alone hyperspace travel.

From the tip of its dagger-shaped nose to its broad backside of mostly destroyed ion engines, the entirety of the Blacktree's structure is compromised and looks as if it is falling apart, with a constant cloud of its own debris shrouding it at every turn, pulled into orbit by an anomalous gravitational field surrounding the vessel.

Despite its appearance and lack of internal lighting, the vessel itself seemingly has a stable (if not stagnant) oxygen environment, and the hyperdrive, though badly damaged and leaking high volumes of dangerous radiation and gases, has been jury-rigged to function. None of the computers, however, appear to function onboard the vessel itself with the exception of an addition to the ship's computer core.

Inside, the corpses of the Blacktree's original crew still decorate the halls, barely little more than old bones in dusty uniforms, and many have been suspended in various wires, cables, and metal constructs as if made to act as wards and fetishes for some unknowable religion. All the droids the formerly moved about the vessel have all been scrapped and merged together to act as the ship's new central computer in a horrendous display of mechanical horror, and it is through this abomination of technology that the ship is controlled, with Noon's direct occasional input.

Much of the ship is ridden with odd anomalies, such as time-displacements, after-images of the crew before and after the hyperspace accident, and even reality-altering moments, such as entire corridors rearranging themselves or doors leading to locations they are already within.

The dark side permeates this vessel to the core, making it out to those sensitive to the force, as a living being. Though not truly alive, there is a constant sense of agony and an aura of despair radiating off the vessel itself, likely due to the massive loss of life and extradimensional, anomalous properties now imbued within the Blacktree.
