This is also my opinion. We've been waiting long enough, and it isn't exactly our fault that the Republic can't get its act together. I understand Adena is doing all she can, but sometimes there is no avoiding it.

Okay this is absolutely ridiculous. Adena, stop blaming everything on not getting PMs and notifications. It's a faction leader's JOB to keep track of things as important as battles. This notion of 'missing a thread' is crazy as it's 3 prominent battles, and that's impossible to ignore. It's the faction leader's role to crack the whip when people get lazy. This should have been taken care of weeks after it was obvious that the Republic side had been inactive. Instead they're being given till June 1st to report in. This is a battle that began in April and now they have till JUNE. Uh..what?

Honestly, I understand IRL shit happens, but to not have any repurcussions after a certain amount of time has passed is preposterous. Santoro wants to declare victory, and I fully back this idea. Do I want Hutts to win? Hell no, but they've been waiting for ages and given bullshit promises of "I'll get someone on it" or "yeah someone's stepping in by ___". No. This needs to end now. I'm not going to send Jedi in, only to get slaughtered by Rep inactivity, so there would be little to no ground opposition. I had Jedi on standby for a long, long time but they weren't utilized. For the sake of moving things along, I believe the Hutts should declare victory. Stop giving the Republic more god damned time. It's absolutely ridiculous. These people have been waiting since the beginning of the time skip and meanwhile the Rep side gets to leisurely decide when to post/not post.

I also get that this is not on just one person, but Adena you need to take a little bit of responsibility for this and stop chewing out those under you. As the leader, ultimately your faction's faults lie on your shoulders. I see the Jedi as the same way. If they fail, it's a reflection of my failures as a leader. That's what separates the leader from the followers. This situation should have been taken care of a long time ago, and I think it's god damned time that Republic faces the consequences.

sorry for the hold up, and my apologizes I didn't catch it sooner.. heh, makes me wish I was a kid again so I could more easily afford the endless free time to keep up on everything 100% all the time....
think I'll put my kids on monitoring duty so they can spot things I may miss * :P


thats the thing, at first the ooc threads were not updated when I was off and on, when somone DID say something I responded.. Somone said they were back and would reply, and did not, and Im dealing with it Im going to take it over..

FYI, if it comes down to it, the Hutts don't just get to "declare" victory. A decision would have to come down from the staff stating that, but factions don't just get to say "I win."

We waited two whole months on this battle- we've successfully done a battle in a month. Where we usually could go through two fights we haven't even BEGUN to fight one, and this is spread over the three battles.

The sooner we close these battles the better. We've all been sitting on our hands for too long.

Let me just clarify something first -- it hasn't been two months. The time skip was a little over 5 weeks ago, so you're still a long ways off from 2 months.

That said, we never said it was going to go to June 1st or whatever. It's not going to be decided today either, though, so continue with the thread for now and the staff will figure it out.

That is a big issue plaguing the Republic. Let us not forget that's what happened to the Republic during Ando Prime, forcing Tsar to take on a mission he was ill-prepared for.

Actuallllllyyyy, you're wrong, at least for Dorin

I talked to both Nexus and Jiang about taking the win there because it got to the point of rediculous waiting and ol' furball just took the mission over for himself. The people in these two other threads have been waiting twice as long and I'm fairly confident Santoro asked the mod-squad about winning these battles.

Saying that the Hutts don't get to complain about the Rep taking forever to respond is a little rediculous IMO
