It probably could, but the first post I wanted a brief overview that was easily accessible for posters.

You say you're sending the High Admiral's Armada and it has 5 battle groups, and each battle group has 16 ships which means you're sending 80 capital ships? Is that right?

I am not bringing the full armada. In light of changes to the battle system, I'm actually taking more like 32 ships.

Of course, this could change depending on how many you want to bring, but for the time being I'll make my post as if I'm bringing two battlegroups and if we decide to up the number of ships then I'll edit it to reflect that.

This is what I was hoping for.

want to make it clear in case... Ru is not in the system or really anywhere near it now he was in com distance and moved once calist got a ping and is going about and around the system and sitting between the Tanaab and Semeria system

his post was added to ic'ly make it clear there is an action going on that MAY have effect or come into play later if certain situations arise but is NOT part of the battle as is, and really is not really noticeable unless someone basically stumbles on him.

Ugh, I sent cailst a PM half a week ago with no response despite seeing him logging on several times in between. I'll search for a replacement, but it could be a while, we're stretched thing due to almost our entire first roster vanishing.

He posted a day or two ago (I didn't notice until just now), so I'm up.

That said, is anyone going to RP Taanab's local defenses? I assume they're just a handful of ships and won't really be significant but I would feel bad just occupying the planet while cailst hangs out on the other side of the system.

I heard something about Samowise doing it. However, I'm not sure how active I'll be in the next two weeks since I will have very little time to post. But I suppose if no one attacks the interdictor, my fleet, and the planet doesn't call for help, I suppose I might not be needed.

samowise is with the Hutts but if you don't have any problem with him running the planetary defenses then I have no problem [ST]steamrolling with him on my side and all[/st] playing utterly and completely fairly. :P

I was never informed about this, also as Never said I am with the Hutts so me npcing the defenses will surely be a conflict of interest; However if there is no one else interested in npcing the defenses then I would not mind playing the npc forces for the sake of keeping the thread active.

when I put out a call for the active fighter pilots for these attacks he said something so we assumed he was free for the battle and should have been approached to lead up the starfighters accompanying Calist's fleet.

Now that it's been made apparent that was not done " as I thought it had as things seemed to be going fine before I had to vanish for a few days" I now know I have some testicals and or labias to burn as punishment.
