Grinning widely on hearing Zana call Valyn Scowly, Gwen grabbed Eyvone's hand and started moving for one of the kayaks (@lizziie). "You and me, dream team! For you at least, 'cause I don't really lose in the water, or out the of water for that matter. So we've got this in the pocket!"

Coming to a stop near the kayak, she let go of Eyvon'e hand and tossed the paddle into the air as she hopped gracefully from the gangplank to land atop the kayak and grabbed the paddle out of the air. Glancing towards the other kayak, she would shout out at her opponents. "Straight line to the other end of the pone and back?" (@Sreeya @Phoenix)

She would turn back to look at Eyvone, and if she seemed unsure of getting in the kayak she would hold out a hand to help her on. "Don't worry, it's just water! And besides, I'm like part fish! I've got you!"

 

[Severus Creed]

From the slight glint of confusion in the mute's eyes after Severus responded, Sev got the idea that he either had a hard time of understanding his rustic version of sign or that he wasn't comfortable around Severus for some strange reason, or a mix between the two. After Elidan said that he could hear Sev just fine, the black-clad Padawan shrugged without remorse. "Didn't want the conversation to feel one-sided is all." Severus replied.

The thought of using telepathy again resurfaced into Severus's mind, but half of him still thought it was a bad idea. He paused, frozen in deep thought about...what he should do. Then, after the few seconds of awkwardness he looked back Elidan with his hard-to-read expressionless black eyes. "Would you mind if I speak to you in your mind? I tried that with Clove...but as you can see, I don't think she's into that sort of thing- even if I was simply asking if her name was Clove or if that name belonged to someone else." Sev said the last bit in a bitter tone, staring down at the sandy ground thinking back to that whole incident. Then, he pushed those darker thoughts aside and gazed back at Elidan.

"I'm usually found in the libraries back home on Yavin. If you ever wish to speak to me about anything concerning creatures, including humanoids, plants, and animals, found throughout the galaxy, come find me...Or...Even if it's just something entirely unrelated that you want to talk about. Except people. I don't like people all that much and I think they'd say the same about me-" He cut himself off as he glanced back over his shoulder back at Jacata and sighed.

"Well...not that many people would agree." He smiled mischievously, his cold stare turning into something much more comfortable that showed an eased conscious.
