Elidan was still staring at Thelian and Clove, who was still crying. Her reaction reminded him of how himself acted in the months after the Sith attack on Ajan Kloss. The fear and panic that came that he used to feel, as if he was back at the Temple watching his friends being killed. The boy started to wonder if her reaction was related to her experience on Dantooine. Maybe the creepy Padawan taunted her about what happened in the battle. This made him furious. Only a psychotic does something like that. (@LilyNion @Charles )

Then he heard Zana calling Thelian a bully and saying that he never should have come back. She was dragging the creepy boy with her. The half-Sephi frowned at this scene. He never heard his friend say something so cruel like this before. She was wrong, it wasn't the Echani's fault. (@Sreeya @Altaris )

He was going to intervene and explain to Zana what really happened, when Varyn Atrix arrived and also started to reprimand Thelian. Elidan remembers the boy from some classes, but never interacted with him. (@Phoenix )

Then Clove left Thelian and approached the creepy boy to apologize to him. When she walked away to the cottage, Elidan felt tempted to follow her and check if she was fine. However, Felix told Thelian that the Echani should do it. The half-Selphi agreed with the human, since her reaction was related to Dantooine, the white haired boy would be able to understand her.

With the situation seeming to calm down, the half-Sephi decided to approach Ruzaan, who seemed to be saddened. In Elidan's opinion, it wasn't a look that suited the boy."Hello, Ruz." he signed to the Togruta, while sitting near him and the cooler. "Can I have something?" he really didn't want anything, but a distraction after all that could be good. And to think that in the beginning he just wanted a quiet place to read. "Sure thing, man" Ruzaan said, waving a hand halfheartedly in the direction of the cooler. "Take whatever you want."

Almost immediately, he scolded himself for his treatment of Elidan; it certainly wasn't the half-Sephi's fault that the party had taken the trajectory that it had, and it wasn't fair for Ruzaan to let his feelings impact an opportunity to get to know Elidan better. That, and the other Padawan wasn't exactly a social butterfly, so Ruzaan had to take every chance he could to make the half-Sephi feel as comfortable as possible. "Sorry" he apologized, tearing his gaze away from the distant horizon and making eye contact with Elidan. "I didn't expect things to blow up the way they did, and I'm not sure what to do.... do you know what happened?"

Elidan was surprised with the manner that Ruzaan answered him. The half-Sephi's ears flattened, perhaps he shouldn't have tried to start a conversation with the Togruta. With all that happened, the other boy probably was also affected by it. Now he was probably thinking that the auburn haired boy was insensible for wanting an ice cream while people cried and argued around them.

He was preparing to leave the other Padawan alone, when Ruzaan said that he felt sorry. Elidan smiled at him. "No, I understand. This situation was really overwhelming." he signed, then turned to where Clove had run. He hoped that Thelian would be able to comfort her.

"I'm still not sure about what happened. What I know is that this guy dressed in black said something telepathically to Clove that made her enter in panic. Then Thelian used the Force to immobilize him and threw the guy in the water." Elidan explained what he knew to the Togruta. He had no idea of what the creepy boy could have said to make the girl act this way. It was probably something terrible.

Elidan opened the cooler and picked a grape popsicle. He would consume it while looking at the sea. The half-Selphi thought that he was going to spend most of this beach party reading alone in a corner, while everyone had fun. However, now it seems that no one was having fun.

After he finished the popsicle, Elidan would turn to Ruz. "I think that I'll go take some pictures of the sea. Do you want to go with me?" he signed to the Togruta. Now there were so many people around the campfire that he was starting to feel uncomfortable.

Ruzaan mulled over Elidan's recollection of the event, feeling like he was missing something obvious. Clove hadn't exactly been her usual self the past few weeks, but what connection did Thelian have to her that would make in intervene in the situation? And why had Clove reacted the way she had? Despite his questions, Ruzaan didn't need to know specifics in order to try to support them.

"I'll catch up with you in a minute, I'm going to go check on Clove... and Thelian" he added, after a second. It was easy to tell when Clove was struggling because she wore her emotions on her sleeve. Thelian, on the other hand, rarely let anything break his serious demeanor, but that didn't mean he wasn't battling his own demons; it would be a mistake to assume otherwise.

Ruzaan trekked over to the cottage where Clove and Thelian had disappeared into. Summoning his courage, he knocked lightly on the door. "Clove? Thelian? It's Ruzaan" he called. "Can I get you anything?" He wasn't sure if either of them would welcome his presence- they'd left the beach for a reason- but he had to try.

Gwen wasn't happy at the treatment her ice-pop got, handed from Severus to Varyn and back, and snatched it from the latter's hand as he was trying to return it to the wet padawan (@Phoenix @Charles). "Enough, I'm taking this back. Go fight over something else."

With that she'd walk away, tearing the ice-pop open and begin aggressively munching on it, moving away from the water and seeking out the ice-cream boy to get another ice-pop. She wanted to try another flavor, maybe bubblegum. She spotted him talking to a red-haired kid and heard him talking about going to check on the duo that had walked off towards the cottage. She didn't know either particularly well, but their matching tattoos made her wonder if they were dating, and the fact that they were headed for the cottage might just be them looking for some alone time to sort out whatever had just happened with the waterworks. So she moved to intercept the Togruta, not surprised that the kid lacked the tact to realize what was happening.

"Let 'em be," she said as she grabbed his hand and stopped him from following the couple to the cottage (@SlagathorTheUnknown), "this doesn't seem like laundry they wanna dry out in front of others. Come on, time for some games. You can cheer me on while I beat some padawan ass!"

Grabbing a kayak paddle from where it was lying near the campfire, she scanned through the group of padawans before picking two on random. "Oi, heartface," she called out as she pointed towards the Twi'lek (@Sreeya) with the paddle, "you too scowly," she added pointing to the ungrateful one who had refused the ice-pop (@Phoenix), "wanna race?"

That was when she spotted the kayaks, just the two of them, and two seaters at that. They needed a fourth if this was going to happen. Looking around to find another, her eyes were drawn as if by a magnet to a girl with a hat that could cover Tatooine (@lizziie) "You there, umbrella-head, get over here, it's race time!"

Clove walked away from the crowded beach and into the peace of the white open beach cottage. The sound of rolling waves, the salty smell of the ocean, and the wind-blown curtains provided a soothing sensation, which was extremely welcome after everything that had happened.

The half-Sephi slid down the couch, slid her feet out of her slippers, and tucked her knees up against her chest while leaning against a pillow. The tears didn't seem to be coming to an end, but at least the sobbing had stopped, allowing her to sit in silence.

The shame began to set in now that she felt like she had a chance to actually breathe. Clove's face sank into her hands, accompanied by a small grunt. She'd made such a fool of herself by freaking out like that. Even her departure to the cottage was a crying mess. So much for having any self-control or acting like a true Jedi.

What would Crix say? He'd probably flick her ear or forehead and give her a very mature speech about accepting the fact that she made a fool of herself, learning from it, and trying to do better next time.

And he'd be right as well.

Clove's pointy ears twitched as the sound of footsteps hit her pointy ears, interrupting her thoughts. She drew her hands away from her face and shifted her gaze to the doorway.

She hadn't expected Thelian to be the one chasing her out of all the Padawans. And she wasn't sure what to make of it. Especially after crying into his chest like a teddy bear. Because Thelian was the first, and most ruthlessly, to point out flaws. Even if he tried, the boy had no filter. And it was terrifying to show weakness in front of him, because he was almost like a mirror, always reflecting your worst mistakes.

Felix just learned that the hard way.

On the other hand, it was also comforting in some ways. He was the only one who truly realized what had happened and even went so far as to throw that boy into the sea to protect her. If there was anyone she could talk to about the issues, it would be him.

Nervously the half-Sephi chewed on the inside of her cheek while watching him in the door opening. "Hey... You never answered my question. Are you okay?"

It was probably too much to ask for this to go over smoothly but neither clove nor Thelian needed any hostility right now, so he would bear the brunt of Varyn's harsh words. "you weren't talking to me and yes what he did wasn't okay but his actions might be understandable if we got his perspective but I don't think either of them is in the state of mind to be asked questions by angry voices." Felix's voice was cold but stern, staring unflinchingly into Varyn's eyes.

"Tell me have you had a near-death experience where you're considered lucky to be alive because you all know I have, I know the 'rumours'. I have more than an inkling." There was a bit of disgust in his voice when mentioned the rumours.

"So take it from someone who lived through one of those experiences and is more experienced than you, back off and I'll sort this, being angry won't change what happened. You're a jedi, act like it." the last words weren't meant to cut deep but he didn't know the padawan enough to know if they would or not.

Felix would make an about-turn and head to the beach shack, he wasn't going to continue this conversation, he had said his peace and was going to figure out what happened.

Severus didn't mean to refuse Gwen's ( @Wit ) thoughtful token of friendship, but he was still soaking wet and wanted to hot- like Tatooine getting shot at by Tusken Raiders, hot. He really preferred anything over what was happening right now. Then he looked over and watched as Ruz ( @SlagathorTheUnknown ) and the quiet kid from before ( @LouJoVi ) still trying to enjoy themselves along with Gwen who was now paddling on one of the kayaks, challenging the other Padawans to a friendly competition.

The dark-clad Padawan felt a chill come across his body, causing him to tremble and shiver after it passed. If Sev took off his shirt, he'd dry off a lot faster, but anxiety came from the thought of doing something that would be so detrimental as taking his shirt off and huddling by the fire. So instead, Severus only stiffly walked away from Zana ( @Sreeya ) and Jacata ( @Raydo ) and over to and the fire without taking any clothes off- he had brought clothing for this particular event and regretted not wearing his grey swim trunks and white long sleeved swim-shirt now more than ever.

Severus secretly looked forward to this event, hoping that somehow he'd make a connection with someone that wasn't a fictional book character and that was actual flesh and blood. Hm...so much for first impressions. Sev thought while he sat alone by the fire, cold and wet from his recent polar plunge. He narrowed his eyes as he gazed into the flames, going back to when he first came to the beach, wishing he could go back in time and created entirely different situations where none of the chaos that took place actually happened at all.

He could almost hear his master telling him to get out of his head and dwell on what was happening right now in the moment. So, Severus closed his eyes and began slowing his breathing, feeling the sand beneath his black shoes, feeling and listening to the whispers of the slight breeze that gently touched his face and played with his black hair. He felt the Force. He felt...Peace.

The slightest of smiles spread across his face, mostly masked by his naturally stern expression.

Maybe I can still make the most out of this day...without any of the other antics that concern water. I think I've had enough of it for the day.

Varyn looked right at Felix (@christhebetrayer), as he finished speaking and said only a single thing. Take your own advice. You have no idea what I've been through, he said. He had watched his mother murdered, been there the night of the slaughter on Ajan Kloss, and the memories only came back to the surface as Felix and his condescending self-righteousness and assumption dismissed all of that. It was even less fitting of a Jedi than Varyn's frustration that one of the others had nearly killed a member of their group.

Varyn turned away from him, trying to push aside his annoyance at how pompous and presumptive Felix had been. Trying to push aside the death that hung in his mind and still haunted his dreams regularly. Screw that guy.

He was starting to walk off, wanting to be by himself to clear those thoughts out of his head when the ice cream girl (@Wit) stopped him and asked if he wanted to join in on a race.

I dunno. I'm not sure I'm in the mood, he muttered. I guess, he finally said, hoping that it would clear his head if nothing else. What had his master always said: if you weren't problem solving then you were brooding and brooding didn't help anyone.

First came that strange feeling in the air. It had a weight to it, though it wasn't heavy, and she felt as if she was hearing the ghostly remains of a whisper. Then without warning Clove began screaming bloody-murder. It completely surprised Eyvone. She had been snatched from the present and had almost been in a world of her own as she tried to figure out what the feeling in the air was. The Nagai jumped, startled by the sound and the sudden return to reality, and watched with wide eyes as the scene unfolded around her. Clove ran straight to Thelian, and an unknown emotion sank in her stomach when he threw an arm around her protectively. Before she could place it, the Echani padawan extended a hand and Severus went flying, and that unknown emotion was replaced with shock and bewilderment as yet another series of events began to unfold. As Severus began to sink into the water, he was quickly nabbed by Zana, who began to shout at Thelian as soon as her head breached the surface of the water. Others began to react in various ways, some angerly, others confused. All the while Eyvone was just sitting there, wide-eyed as her gaze jumped from person to person.

Then Clove left in a hurry, Thelian turned to abruptly follow her, and that negative emotion returned to sit unpleasantly in her stomach. She watched him walk with slightly furrowed brows and slightly downturned lips until he disappeared into the cottage across the way.

'Am I...jealous?' Eyvone's tensed expression was replaced by surprise again as she began to question the cause behind the negative emotion.

"You there! . .. . ... .. !" A voice called out to her, and Eyvone turned her head to see Guinevere gesturing for her to come over towards her. The Nagai didn't quite catch what she said, but after a moment she got up and made her way across the hot sand to the beckoning padawan.

"Yeah?" Her eyes traveled over to the kayaks and then back up to Guinevere as she stopped in front of her. She wasn't entirely sure what was going on.

As he checked on Severus, the boy showed him images of what he saw. In brief flashes, He saw that Sev had seen while connected with Clove. While the emotional weight had been blunted by it being a images experienced fourth hand, they were still disturbing and when his eyes flicked back to the sandy shore, a chill ran down his spine that had nothing to do with the water. "Glad you alright. People are...complicated. I am sure they didn't mean to hurt you." he said, trying to re-assure the guy.

He wanted to ask why the guy and thrown Sev around that but he was beaten to it by another Padawan. Adding more voices the mix would only heighten things, so Jacata backed out of the conversation.

Soon Zana and others were called off towards the kayaks leaving him with one Padawan he barely know (@Charles) and several others he didn't know. "So, I'm Jacata." he said, awkwardly breaking the silence. "Anyone want to play a game or two of volleyball?" he said picking up the ball from the sand.

Zana completely ignored that the padawan in her arms was protesting for a bit. Whether or not he wanted to nap underwater didn’t matter to her, the idiot needed to be back on land. The twi’lek released him the moment they made it ashore and she was certain he wasn’t in any immediate danger. Golden eyes stared down the Echani that made her blood boil. However, she was caught off guard by the changes in his face. Emotions were raw and bare on the normally frigid exterior. Her own expression softened, rage slowly giving way to surprise. Thelian looked as if she had physically harmed him, a sensation that in turn left a bitter taste in her mouth.

He moved right after that, turning on his heel to follow Clove. Her gaze followed him for a moment, that similar rage roiling within her again but differently. Her jaw tightened slightly, an ugly emotion rearing its head she hadn’t anticipated. Jealousy. It cut her swiftly and unexpectedly, catching her completely by surprise. She was angry at Thelian, but she was also angry at herself. He was a bully and nothing but a player. She chanted those words repeatedly within her mind before being shaken out of her thoughts when Jacata spoke.

“Ah.. yeah..” Zana idly fiddled with a lekku, “I’m sorry for acting like that,” There was a deep tinge of purple against her blue skin. Not only did she have to watch Thelian wander off with Clove, but she perpetually continued to embarrass herself in front of Jacata, “I’m sorry…”

The twi’lek was mercifully spared from going into a self deprecating spiral when Gwen announced about kayaks. Zana gave her a faint smile, “You’re on!” She turned to look at Varyn, “Let’s go, scowly,” She smiled as she repeated the name.

The twi’lek made her way towards a kayak, dragging it out towards the water. She pointedly avoided thinking about Thelian even though his pained expression flashed into her thoughts over and over again. It was an image she wouldn’t forget anytime soon. Nor the fact that she caused it.

Severus was glad Jacata ( @Raydo ) was as understanding and laid-back as he seemed. He shook himself off and shivered to get the cold jitters out of him before standing up to face the mirilian from his spot by the fire. Sev scratched the back of his wet head as he stared at the ground again, avoiding looking at anyone as that is how this whole predicament started in the first place. "With the animalistic way that kid looked at me...I'd say he had every intent of showing his true nature. Ironic, I think. He's so keen to point out the flaws in others when he seems to have no idea of the great many they weigh him down." Severus was not trying to be mean. He was being analytical and making notes of the people around him- and Thelian tapped into the Dark Side.

Severus felt it- cold and foul, like the bitter cold of the vacuum of outer space. He knew the Dark Side because he tapped into once, himself. But that was a story for another time.

After everything started to cool off for the most part, Jacata offered to play volleyball- if only Severus knew how. At first, he would've shied away from the opportunity but he knew his master would be upset with him if Sev, of all people, missed out on an opportunity to learn. So, Sev raised a finger and cleared his throat,
"I would love to...but, uh, if you could...you know, show me the ropes? That's the right saying, right? Yeah...I've never played. But I'm willing to learn how...if you're willing to teach. I'm a fast learner- and who knows, I might end up besting you." His cheeks flushed red in slight embarrassment but his ambitious gaze shifted to Jacata filled with determination.

Even as Thelian made his way away from the beach and towards the cottage, his thought were a jumbled mess. With his back turned to the crowds, the Echani allowed his conflicting emotions to play out on his face – a mixture of pain, anger and remorse flashing across his pale features. Zana’s harsh words seemed to repeat in his mind with every step he took, stinging him a bit worse with each and every repetition.

Given the circumstances, he didn’t regret what he did to Severus, and yet the Echani felt – somehow – as if he failed. It was that look of disappointment – more than the rage – that was burned into his mind, and it wounded him in ways he didn’t realize it could. A part of him wanted to explain his actions – to justify it away. And yet he knew he couldn’t. Another part of Thelian simply wanted to put it into the back of his mind and forget. To bury it, and pretend that it didn’t bother him, and yet he couldn’t. He walked towards the cottage, and the same six words repeated like a chorus in his mind – haunting him like every other whisper and vision from Dantooine.

You should never have come back.

Maybe he truly shouldn't have.

The Echani finally arrived at the cottage stepped past the doorframe, silver eyes immediately settling onto where Clove was curled into the couch. He clearly noted the tears that fell from her eyes, and he knew how the girl was feeling. And yet, as per usual, he was completely silent – greeting the half-Sephi with his usual blank, albeit slightly less grumpy than usual, expression.

As Clove likely expected, there were no comforting words or reassurances from Thelian. There was nothing he could say that would make her feel better, even if he knew what to say. And truthfully, he didn’t. Instead, Thelian simply loomed nearby - there for Clove if she needed him.

Thelian leaned his weight against the wall to his right, crossing his arms over his chest. He stared at the half-Sephi when she spoke, raising a brow at the question. He hadn’t even heard the question the first time, and the repetition now gave him pause.

“Will be.” He replied flatly. "You?”

The Echani was silent for a while after that. Without another word, he pushed off from the wall and made his way over to the kitchen, flipping open the lid of the cooler. Much to his dismay, nothing was alcoholic, but at least it was cold. The Echani snagged two lemonades from the shelf before walking back towards the couch. Rather than hand it to the girl, Thelian threw it onto the pillow beside her. He proceeded to crack open the can of his own drink, taking a sip.

“You should’ve knocked the shit out of him for that.” He declared flatly, staring at the girl deadpan.

Ruzaan didn't make it to the cabin, instead getting intercepted en route by a human girl ( @Wit ). Briefly, Ruzaan wondered what laundry she was referring to- neither Thelian nor Clove were wearing much in the way of clothing- but the girl was rather insistent. Ruzaan cast one final glance back towards the cottage before allowing himself to be pulled away and back down to the waterfront.

Clove and Thelian were still present on his mind, but a profile down at the water where several padawans were gathering together near kayaks made his heart skip a beat- there was another Togruta here! A smile broke over Ruzaan's face and he hurried over to Zana ( @Sreeya ), waving happily and calling out a greeting in Togruti. The smile turned into embarrassment as soon as she turned around, and he realized that she was actually a Twi'lek. Oops. "Ah... thought you were someone else" he said, suddenly wishing he'd taken Elidan up on his offer to take photos of the lake.

Elidan didn’t feel sad when Ruzaan said that he wanted to go see how Clove and Thelian were. Although the half-Sephi thought that the two would prefer to have some privacy after all that happened. They seemed to be very close to each other, the two even had matching tattoos

"No problem. We'll meet later." he signed, while smiling at the Togruta. Getting up from where he was seated, the half-Sephi walked toward the water. It was so beautiful! With his Datapad, Elidan would take several pictures of it. (@SlagathorTheUnknown)

Removing his sandals, the Padawan would approach the water, letting it touch his bare foot. Elidan closed his eyes, feeling the fresh breeze that came from the sea hitting his face. Even after what happened, this place still remained peaceful.

After some time, the Padawan would decide to return to the campfire. While he walked, Elidan would notice that the others had picked some kayaks and went to the water. Elidan felt a bit sad for being left behind, but he soon let these feelings go. After all, he was taking pictures when the Padawans decided to have a competition. Stopping, he would turn to them and use his Datapad to take some pictures. He smiled, it made them look like a simple group of teenagers having fun, not the future of the Jedi Order. He had decided to send these to Ruzaan and Zana later.

When he arrived at the campfire, the half-Sephi would see that the Mirialan Padawan was talking with the one dressed in black. "Hello, my name is Elidan and I have mutism." he would greet the two boys with one of his premade messages. Then he would sit on a log and continue reading his book. Maybe now he would have some peace to finish it. (@Raydo @Charles )

A mute! Everything about Elidan ( @LouJoVi ) made sense now, to Severus at least. Sev gave a small wave to the kid, but Sev had to stop himself from speaking telepathically to him as he didn't know if Elidan would freak out as did Clove. Insead, Severus decided to sign back to Elidan, "Hello, Elidan. I am Severus Creed." Sev's signing probably seemed a little weird to Elidan because it was a bit mixed with Tusken Raider sign. Hopefully he got the just of what he was saying, though.

After Elidan took a seat to read his book, Severus thought about inviting him to play volleyball with him and Jacata ( @Raydo ). So, Sev went to go sit next him and signed again, "Do you want to play with me and my..." Sev wasn't sure what to sign for Jacata but his hands were moving faster than he could think. "Friend? Or do you want to keep reading? I don't think it's a big deal, to be honest. Sando Aqua monsters are very interesting." Sev signed with a bit of a smile, before standing up, offering to shake Elidan's hand.

Then Severus realized they'd probably need a fourth person to play the game if Elidan decided to join them, so he scanned the beach and found Evyone ( @lizziie ) sitting by herself.
"You there! Do you wish to play a few games of volleyball with Jacata and I? If Elidan joins us, we'll need another player for an even number of players per team. You need not join us if you wish to stare and watch. In other words...you look sad. So...stop, I guess? And come have fun." Severus didn't mean for the last bit to sound cold, but he thought he got the message to her at least. The girl did look sad, and Severus thought it might of had to do with recent events.

Just as expected, Thelian entered the cottage bringing with him nothing but silence and a slightly less grumpy-than-usual blank stare. The way he leaned against the wall, arms crossed across his chest, reflected a broody air that really complemented his wintery aura. But, at the very least, her question caused a change in his expression, and his honest response took Clove by surprise.

"Will be, as well." She stifled a laugh and rubbed her lace sleeve against her cheek, futilely attempting to dry it. "If you need any help.." Her voice faded away, allowing the offer to speak for itself. Because, while she knew the odds of him accepting her offer were slim, it would be wrong not to make it. She knew how he felt and how lonely it could be.

After that, there was a long pause. She couldn't think of anything to say or how to compose herself. Instead, she chose to remain curled up against the pillow, her arms tucked around her knees, and her gaze fixed on Thelian as he went to the refrigerator to get something to drink. She lowered her right arm and took the cold bottle in her hand when he placed hers on top of the pillow. "Thank you."

If Thelian hadn't been there, she would have put the bottle against her neck to cool off.

Clove was about to take a drink when Thelian stated flatly that she should have punched the black-clad padawan.

"Come on, we both know I don't throw punches; I'm more of a crawling in the dirt type." Her usually bubbly and kind voice took on a sharper edge as she replied. She let out a sigh and let go of that edge. "Sorry. I just... don't do that kind of thing I guess. Dantooine was my first real fight that wasn't part of training. The most violent thing I'd ever done before Dantooine was kick a kid in the shins." Honestly, it was a damn good kick, and the kid deserved it. "Plus, he didn't mean any harm. He's creepy, but I don't think he realized telepathy would set off our reactions. I didn't know either."

She chewed the inside of her cheek and stared at the bottle of lemonade she was holding. "I wouldn't have been able to do it even if I had been angry, which I wasn't. Until you calmed me down, I didn't recognize anyone." Clove finally sat up straighter after lowering her legs. A new thought popped into her head, making her giggle a little. "I also don't know how to throw a good punch like you, so I don't see a punch happening unless you decide to train me."

Despite the fact that she was giggling very lightly, her voice had a deadly serious undertone about the training offer.

Felix let out a sigh as he made his way to the cottage, "why do things always go awry when I'm around" he mumbled to himself half-heartedly, things never went smoothly when he was around, perhaps he was some sort of bad luck charm.

He shook his head to clear his thoughts just before he got to the cottage, there was no use dwelling on something like that, it wasn't a hole he needed to go down. standing in the doorway he would knock on the internal wall to get the other twos attention. he only got the last words of clove, something about training?

"You two okay?" he would ask, he would try to take things slow, he wasn't expecting to be completely open about what happened to them on Dantooine, baby steps for now and to let them know they're weren't alone.

Elidan was reading his book when the creepy Padawan approached him. The other boy’s presence made the half-Sephi feel uncomfortable. What did he want with him? Elidan didn’t know what the guy said telepathically to Clove and the girl could have apologized to him, but the half-Sephi still wanted to punch the guy for making someone so nice cry.

Then he started to sign to him. Elidan could understand some of it, but it was really weird. These signs were very different from these used by the Galactic Standard Sign Language. At least the half-Sephi could understand that the boy was called Severus Creed and he was inviting Elidan to play with him and the Mirialan Padawan.

Stopping to think a bit about it, Elidan nodded in agreement and rose from where he was seated, leaving his Datapad there. "I have mutism, but I can hear very well. You don’t need to do sign language. " he signed to Severus. Even with him still being uncertain with the intentions of the other boy, the half-Sephi smile at him "Thank you using it, though. Not every Padawan wants to start a conversation with the mute kid." the he walked toward the Mirialan Padawan, who the other boy called as Jacata.

While he waited near, Elidan saw Severus trying to convince Eyvone to join them. The way that the dark-haired boy talked made the half-Selphi have pity on him. He was starting to understand that the other Padawan wasn’t bad, he seemed to have no knowledge of how to act around others.
