*Oddly enought, Tyran's simple reflexes sufficed to block these attacks. Although it was scary to Tyran, the first attack was a simple swipe upwards. Immediately, Tyran's body pushed his arms up, lightsaber over his head, and then downwards so that the lightsaber blade was right behind Tyran's back to block the first strike.

When Master Nadill quickly recoiled and struck again at Tyran's front side, Tyran just reversed his movement, bringing the blade upward and then downward and changing the lightsaber position from pointing downward to upward. However, there was a second step to this block; Tyran stepped backward with his right foot and thrust his arms and lightsaber forward. When the lightsabers hit each other, Tyran's defense would be on par with his Master's attack.*

Rev smiled.

"Good good! You're getting it quite naturally..."

Taking a step away so their blades no longer met he raised his own blade above his head. Targeting his padawan's left shoulder he brought the blade down with all the force his body could muster. From his right to left it came down like a sludge hammer or axe; it seemed to have unimaginable power. If Tyran could block an attack of such strength he could surely block any attack.

*Tyran's eyes quickly followed his opponent's movement and let his body go with the flow. His reflexes weren't exactly the best, but agility would surely aid him in this maneuver. Letting his upper body go limp and lightsaber fall to his side, Tyran's body surged with adrenaline as Tyran waited for the blade to fall at an exponential rate. Then, he side-stepped to his right, completely avoiding the blade.

Such a powerful attack would leave his Master open, or so he believed. In theory, if he brought the blade down with such force, Master Nadill's focus would be solely on attacking. There wouldn't be much time to counter, and that was when Tyran would strike. With the side-step, Tyran swung his right arm in a full counter-clockwise rotation, bringing with it the same type of force generated like Master Nadill, aiming at his wrists.

The extra step to bring forth more power was by grabbing the lightsaber at the peak of height with his left hand, and swinging both arms together downward. Tyran always was conscious of holding back and turning his blade off, or making it shorter with the controls near his right blade if Master Nadill had no time to react. However, if he did, at the moment both hands were up, there would be a moment of opening; if Master Nadill wouldn't be ready for a counter attack, the opening would not matter. Disarming Master Nadill would be the end of the fight.*

It came as a surprise to the Jedi Master when Tyran so subtly side-stepped the attack. Though with this momentum came an escape from the only attack that seemed plausible from his Padawan. Hitting the igniter the blade sucked back into the tube with a hiss and Rev's body fell limp. The malicious chop downward gave him the ability to fall into a roll, letting Tyran's both fast acting and powerful counter-attack pass over his now sliding form by mere inches.

As Rev's shoulder came in contact with the ground he pressed his shoulder harder against the marble floor. This quick act of finesse pushed him back to his feet when the rest of his body came around. Spinning on his heel he'd be facing his Padawan and with a flick of the wrist his purple blade hissed to life once again.

"Quick thinking my Padawan... that was quite close... closer than most have achieved. You are a quick learner!"

Taking in a short breath Rev gave the boy a nod.

"Now, to add to a duel what most do not practice it will better prepare you. Call upon your Force powers, you will find they are more often used than not when the time calls for it."

"Yes Master."

*Tyran immediately put the information into his head for later use. He knew he would need such information for another time during the duel, but in the mean time, he returned to his high guard. Taking a deep breath to let the adrenaline surge pass through him, Tyran felt the after-effects kick in as the tiredness settled in.

Quickly analyzing his Master through a few moves, Tyran knew he could defeat his Master, but only if he could make his Master slip up and make a mistake. The last maneuver Master Nadill had done to counter-act his own attack was quite interesting if not risky. With risky maneuvers like that, he knew that Master Nadill would most likely attempt another one and when that would happen, Tyran would pounce like a lion would on his prey.

There was no qualms about this thought. Tyran's job was to disarm Master Nadill, and he would get the job done. Some called it cold and cruel thinking, but to Tyran, it was pure logic. No harm, only disarm, and Tyran would finish off the match without worry or concern. In his high guard, Tyran waited for his Master again, the Force flowing through his veins a bit stronger now, for the concentration to defeat his Master was high and like his Master had said, the Force could be of possible help to him in a duel.*

Falling back into Form II Rev stared at Tyran. Just as his Padawan was studying him, Rev would return the investigation. Taking slow steps to the right his blade was mere centimeters from touching the ground. Reaching out with the Force a durasteel crate tucked in the corner behind Tyran and to his left took flight. Sailing through the air at Tyran's left shoulder Rev lept at the same instant the crate would either be sent sailing by his padawan or come in contact with the boy. Meanwhile Rev's own airborne assault would be coming down at Tyran in the form of two quick attacks at Eldras's thighs.

*The flying crate did not go unnoticed as Tyran could hear a whooshing sound coming towards him. While that happened, Tyran saw his Master go airborne, trying to aim for the lower half of his body. In response, Tyran attempted something he would have never tried unless he had learned how to Force Jump.

Surrounding the Force near his feet, Tyran leaped off to the side to avoid the crate. Although Master Nadill was near the same location of the flying crate, Tyran sprung back towards the area and used the crate as a stepping stone, jumping higher into the air than his Master did. With the extra height, Tyran summoned the strongest Force Push he could muster at his Master. With the Force Push, it would knock his Master off balance as Tyran hoped the enormous gust of power disarmed his Master. Then, Tyran would decisively make his move from there.*

Watching Tyran leap through the air was expected. Rev's own feet coming to th ground to see his padawan coming back at him through the air thanks to the flying crate; however, was not. Taking up a defensive stance in Form V now the Force push that came sent his feet sliding across the floor. Digging his toes into the ground kept him from going to the ground in a clump. Staring across at the boy he mustered all he could into his legs and lept at him on a straight line. Cutting upwards at him like an upper-cut his blade went from left to right at Tyran's torso. As this attack would carry through he gracefully went into a spin, his right hand taking control of the blade as his came across sharply at his padawan's thighs in a horizontal cut.

*Tyran had used up much of his concentration for the Force Push and wasn't exactly prepared to defend. Tyran lowered his guard as his right hand held his lightsaber, blocking the attack that Master Nadill had performed earlier - the uppercut motion with a blade. However, it wasn't enough to block it fully as Tyran's right arm went in a full clockwise revolution, lightsaber being pushed out of the way by his Master's. Stepping back to avoid the first attack, he saw the spinning motion Master Nadill made.

With the full rotation of his right arm, Tyran used that momentum to knock his opponent's blade away from him again. Stepping back once more to avoid the second attack, Tyran's right hand followed the movement of his Master's blade, and then immediately shot his right foot upward. His Master was close enough to be kicked in the face, and that was exactly what Tyran would do. There was barely anyway to avoid this, and it seemed so unlikely that Tyran would kick his Master in the face, but with such a move, it would throw Master Nadill's timing and thinking off, giving Tyran another chance to disarm his Master, not thinking about the pain that Master Nadill would experience with a stomp to his face.*

Feeling his blade forced away from Tyran's own he was glad his padawan had blocked the attack. It was in mid turn that he came to see Tyran's foot coming at his face, by then it was too late and the boys foot sent him stumbling backwards with a pain reverberating through his face. As he stumbled backwards he reached out with his left hand as if aiming it at his padawan. An invisible force would explode from his hand in the form of a Force Push. If Tyran had decided at that point to lunge at the Jedi Master he would be quickly sent back in the near gale force wind.

*As Tyran put his foot back on the floor, there was an odd invisible wall that hit him square in the chest. Flying backwards, Tyran landed safely on his bottom before quickly getting onto his feet and back into stance. That Force Push reminded him who he was going against, and that more subtle and trickier methods would be needed to defeat his Master.*

The duel was quite entertaining, and Rev found that if Tyran would be a Consular he'd be able to handle himself for a situation should the lightsaber be needed. Disengaging the blade he hooked it back to his belt and gave him a crisp nod.

"For a Padawan your skills in the blade are quite good Tyran, are you sure you still wish to be a Consular?"

Rev gaving him a joking smile before walking over to a toolbox in the corner. Picking up the large box he dumped it out in the center of the room. Hundreds if not thousands of parts ranging from small screws and nuts to emitters and handles that were a few inches long.

"You need your own blade in order to become a true Jedi Tyran. I know it is time for you to take that step in creating your first blade. All the essential parts are here along with the parts to customize it so it is your own. I will return when its ready."

Walking towards the door he opened it slowly, peaking back at his Padawan then sliding out until Tyran completed his Jedi tool.

*Tyran just looked at the large box. It was a fairly simple job to construct a lightsaber, but to create a good one was a bit different. All lightsabers shared characteristics such as having an emitter matrix and lens assembly. But the key to the lightsaber, or rather the heart of his blade would be the crystal. The crystal would decide the color and strength of the blade. For now, he would use one that the Jedi proved, but later...he would find a better crystal to put into his lightsaber.

Originally, this process would take weeks to do. However, Tyran had tinkered with lightsabers before and the process was actually quite simple to him. He had created far more complex things before. Beginning to tap into the Force, Tyran would have this lightsaber done within 2 days.*

---------------------2 DAYS LATER--------------------

Tyran had finally finished his work. All the necessary items had been put in place. Each individual piece was hand selected, and it fit quite well together. It may have not looked as flashy or distinct like many other lightsabers, but Tyran's was only there for necessity only. Tyran's lightsaber looked like a metallic cylinder with a couple of buttons here and there and with a hand grip that covered nearly half of the lightsaber. That had taken a day.

The other day was choosing his crystal. He had picked a green Adegan crystal as the core of his lightsaber and meditated with it and imbued it with life. When that was done - a very lengthy process - Tyran put his newfound heart into his weapon and finally finished it up with more meditation and Force imbuing. After the finishing touches, Tyran looked at his newest creation. It reminded him of the older version of lightsabers. He had always had a particular liking to that look, and now he had his own. With a simple flick of the red button, Tyran's lightsaber sprang forth, a shade of bright green emerging from the tip of the metallic cylinder. The lively green swayed back and forth momentarily before disappearing into thin air.*

"I am finished Master. Would you like to inspect it?"

Rev walked in just as Tyran was igniting the near lime colored blade. Smiling at the site Rev had wondered where the boy had found a crystal, typically he would give his padawan the color crystal as they were rare to the hopefuls and trainees. Nodding at his comment on inspecting it he walked over and took the hilt, giving it a quick look over.

"For a starting lightsaber it appears to be in good working order."

Taking the bottom of the hilt he hit it on the wall then clicked the igniter. Once again the green blade hissed to life and Rev flipped the button down only for it to slide back into the metallic tubing. Following this he gave the emitter matrix and lens assembly a hit against the desk. Looking at the parts after he was done he gave it a nod and activated the blade once more, everything checked out and he disengaged it. Handing the lightsaber back to Tyran he gave him a congratulatory smile.

"Everything seems to be in working order, it can take a hit as it will be a part of you, I'm sure you wouldn't want to hit it against a wall and reach for your tool only for it to be in pieces. I feel we can move on to the final aspects of your training now..."

*Tyran solemnly looked on as his Master tested out his lightsaber, wincing as Master Nadill smashed the lightsaber against the table. He had done enough welding to make it stay together, but did his mentor really need to go that far? In any case, his lightsaber was unique in many ways. It was an older model, looking like a protosaber without the external power pack. Although he hadn't mentioned to Master Nadill, he had made a lightsaber before, although it was only a crude version. With the appropriate tools, he was now equipped with a capable weapon.

With the lightsaber finished, it was time to move on. What his teacher had in store for Tyran was for him to decide, but at the moment, Tyran was quite happy with his result and was actually ready to test it out despite his hate for using such a death weapon.*

"Thank you Master. Out of curiosity, why would you say that my lightsaber would allow me to move on to the final aspects of my training?"

Rev watched the boy wince at the crude testing of the tool. It was in a way painful to see his apprentice to wince in such a way, though gratifying to know how close he was to a tool he had only finished minutes before. Then Tyran's words burnt into the mind of the Jedi Master like a plasma cutter to durasteel.

"I feel you are nearly ready for your trials Tyran, you have gotten far. It wont be long we will be going on a Master-Apprentice mission, and hopefully it will be your last as you will then become a Knight. Though first we must go to the training grounds, you will be tested in all that you have learned... should you succeed we will then move onto a mission. This mission will not just test you, but myself. It will not be something basic like we have been doing, it could in a sense affect hundreds of live, or even one other than yourself. The choices made when we go into the Galaxy could effect the universe in decades to come. That will be your true test as a Jedi, how you can relate to the general population, the choices you make, and whether or not you can live with that choice..."

*Tyran's eyes widened so far that one could see his pupils growing larger and larger. He didn't even stop to think about going on a mission, or even becoming a Jedi Knight. Tyran had always wanted to move up and the work he had accomplished was a lot, but the idea of taking the Knight trials just hit him in the face. It wasn't that long ago when he wanted to be a Padawan, and now he was already becoming a Knight. Time flied, and now Tyran was being prepared for the next step forward.*

"I hadn't stopped to think about becoming a Jedi Knight let alone go on a mission. Time flies, so to speak. But now that you bring it up, when will we go on a mission? It seems like an exciting thing to do."

Rev laughed in amusement at the boys sudden realization of what had been said to him. Thinking back he remembered the shock he had been in when his Master had told him his time had come to take the trials, it seemed so long ago now that he thought about it. Then Tyran plagued the Jedi Master with a question, snapping him back to reality.

"We will be going to the training grounds outside of the Jedi Temple. There you will need to use all you have been trained in to successfully reach the end of the exercise. Should you accomplish this task I will give you a series of Missions to choose from, whichever you choose will be the one we will partake in. Any questions my Padawan or shall we begin?"

*Tyran looked as his Master much calmly now. His little outburst had passed and now composing himself, Tyran's heart became peaceful once again. The missions seemed interesting, and Tyran was ready and willing to do what he needed to do in order to get the job done. Tyran couldn't think of any questions at the moment, so he answered his Master.*

"I don't have any questions Master Nadill. You may lead the way."

Rev would lead Tyran outside of the temple, it would take nearly an hour to get to the place where his final test would be held. Asking for Tyran's lightsaber he'd take it and slide it into his cloak's pocket.

"Stay here..."

Slipping into the woods Rev would place various parts of the blade throughout the training course. They would all just as easily go back together as it was to take the tool apart. The Emitter would be placed atop a large stone pillar, atop this pillar it was much like a bowl and set inside of the hole. This prevented his Padawan from simply using the Force to pull it down. He'd have to find a way to get atop the towering pole, it was conveniently placed next to poles that slowly increased in height though as they increased in height their diameter shrank in size. The second piece would be the lens assembly. Placed across a gully that fell to one of Ossus's many water ways it was well out of jumping distance, though placed in the open, on a stump to be exact. Then their was the final piece the handgrip with the many other assemblies within it. This piece was hidden inside of one of the many caves on Ossus, nearly pitch black it would seem impossible to see without any sort of light. Making his way back nearly twenty minutes later Rev gave Tyran a smile.

"The pieces to your lightsaber are throughout the area... I'm sure you can feel them as they are connected to you in a way. Each piece will require a different Force power you have learned. Once you get all three pieces and assemble your blade meet me here. If you dont have any questions you may get started. Seeing how it took me nearly a half an hour to get things in place, I will give you two hours to find and assemble your Lightsaber."
