*A regular Padawan's eyes would have widen and jaw dropped at the display of Force Jump. However, Tyran's mind wasn't so worried about the spectacular feat itself, but how to do it. With enough concentration, it was possible, but a 40ft. jump seemed near impossible. Tyran himself had only jumped about 7-10 feet in the air to get from one ledge to the other, but this was 4 times the amount.

Taking a deep breath, Tyran let go and relaxed. There would be nothing to worry about. Just being confident about himself and tapping into the Force would be good enough. Tyran's palms relaxed, back loosening, and knees bending slightly to reach maximum jump capacity. Then, the Force swiveled around his feet as it began to compact right under the soles of Tyran's feet. With one deep exhale, Tyran jumped into the air.

The wind fought against Tyran as he traveled through the skies. Ossus was so beautiful from above. Suddenly reminding himself that he would land only in moments, Tyran braced himself for the impact as the Force would help cushion the landing. The moment Tyran was 5 feet away from landing, he guided the Force to immediately spread out and soften the landing as Tyran's toes touched the rooftop before the rest of his feet felt the hard floor.*

"Phew. I made it."

Rev gave Tyran an assuring smile, it was quite impressive what he had just accomplished.

"Good, good! Tyran you have done what some may never reach... fatigued from the use of the Force and still you litterally go to new heights! Now, I can sense your tired and in need of rest... I will show you how to revitalize yourself much faster than sleep or rest could ever accomplish."

Motioning for the Padawan to follow Rev moved towards the ledge of the rooftop. Falling to his knees they rested mere centimeters from falling. Resting his arms at his sides he motioned for Tyran to sit next to him.

"You were meditating earlier, take the same poise as you had... I shall teach you how to truly embrace the Force, taking its energy to 'refuel' yourself. Jedi have gone weeks without sleep due to meditation, it is quite possibly the most important habit a Jedi should follow."

Taking in a deep breath the Knight closed his eyes and simply took in everything at once.

"I'm sure you know the basics of meditation... focus on one thing, and try not to let your mind wander or stray from the true path, in this case remaining one with the Force. With each breath you will feel the Force empowering you... hold that breath in for as long as you feel you can, and repeat the step after exhaling. Let nature, let the Force around you envelop you in its unending sea, and you will feel true connection with the Force."

Taking in another breath Rev fell quiet and simply went into a light meditation of his own. Should the boy have any questions, he would not hesitate to answer them.

*Tyran sat down very quickly like his Master had asked. Then, he got into his meditation stance (sitting style) aka the lotus position. From there, Tyran began breathing slowly, taking each breath purposefully. With each inhale, his lungs filled with the fresh Ossus air, and each exhale produced not only carbon dioxide, but a sense of relaxation and letting go. While this breathing process happened, each breath also produced an increasing connection into the Force.

The flow of the Force was exceedingly strong. Never before had Tyran pushed himself this far or become so intuned with the Force. It was actually quite refreshing and as Master Nadill had said, it was 'refueling.' Maybe this would be the key to Tyran's training and over-exertion. But soon enough, Tyran began getting chilly from the air around him.*

"What is this Force Power called Master?"

Rev sat in silence for a few moments before answering his padawan, simply letting his light meditation take control of him. He was replenishing his own Force energy before speaking out to Tyran.

"It is the true way of meditation, though it can be used to aid your fellow Jedi or any other being connected to the Force in the galaxy. This virtually leaves you open to help energize any person or being that is organic. I'm sure you've seen some of those droids running around, those scrap buckets you wont be able to help replenish energy. The Force power is called Revitalize and you can use it on others or yourself."

Smiling he stood up slowly feeling refreshed and stretched out. Motioning for Tyran to follow he lept off the roof landing back on the balcony as soft as hitting a bed thanks to the Force.

"Where is it you think we should take your training now my Padawan? Is there anything that sticks out in your mind you feel you should be taught in, or should I take you where I feel you're ready?"

*The thrill of using the Force traveled through Tyran's body as a mixture of adrenaline and endorphins being released into Tyran's bloodstream. At the same time, this thrill scared Tyran. While he was flipping through the air and free-falling from a height of approximately 40 feet, Tyran wondered to himself about the Dark Side of the Force. He had immediately recognized that by indulging in power...it could mean tip-toeing on the boundaries of the Dark Side of the Force.

Landing just like Master Nadill, gracefully and softly onto the balcony, it dawned upon him that 'Revitalize' was a Light Sided Force...but could lead to the Dark Side. There was so much irony in this Force Power after learning about Jedi Philosophy for most of his life...but here he was...doing something he should have never attempted. Why this was so, Tyran didn't know...but maybe his Master did.*

"Master Nadill...why do we have such a Force Power like Revitalize? I mean...it isn't the Jedi Way to indulge in power, but here we are...drawing from the power of the Force itself to make us whole again. Isn't that going to lead us down the path to the Dark Side? Even when I was performing Force Jump...the power of being able to such a feat scared me in fear of that I might become a Dark Side Force User."

Rev nodded, he had once thought the same about the Force and in a way feared it just as Tyran was. It was an incedible thing, limitless, and capable of consuming the user should they let it.

"Willpower Tyran... I felt the same way when I was a Padawan... A vast power is at your finger tips and it is up to the user to maintain him or herself. The Jedi have these powers so we can do our job, our calling. Think of your capabilities if you were unable to use the Force to Revitalize yourself, you'd be fatigued daily. Instead we can focus ourselves and replenish what we have lost. The Dark Side of the Force wouldn't allow you to use this power as it calls upon you connecting with the Galaxy.. with nature, staying at peace. Remember that Tyran, when you meditate you must be at peace, not just with yourself, but nature, with the Galaxy. This will allow you to better energize yourself and stay away from those dark thoughts. I pressure you into coming to me if you ever feel that the Dark Side is coming on to you, it has a powerful pull. I sense you will not need to come to me, you have a strong willpower, but should you ever need to, I am here."

*Tyran thought momentarily, absorbing the newly acquired from his Master. Taking it in, processing it, and then understanding it only took seconds, as he looked up to Master Nadill as a happier Padawan. There wasn't anything more that could relieve him than those words at the moment.*

"Thank you Master. I have no other questions or any wants or desires at the moment, so you may choose the next topic to teach me."

"You're most welcome Tyran, then we shall move on."

Rev nodded to Tyran, he felt it was time to move onto something the Jedi would rarely use being a Consular, though it was needed by every class. Crossing his arms he pulled out his lightsaber and the purple blade hissed to life. The glow never ceased to amaze the man as he stared at the purple beam that added no weight to the bulky hilt.

"The lightsaber, the Jedi's primary tool in most situations, next to the Force of course. Every Jedi must learn its ways whether in basic or to a monumental scale. We wont be starting with the deadly blade, simply some vibroswords. I will teach you Form I, do you know anything of it? Shii-Cho is the name, perhaps that is what you've heard. It is quite basic, and with you pursuing the class of a Consular, I feel you should learn this form. I also have another form to teach you, one I have never taught a Padawan, though I know you will use it, and feel quite comfortable with it. Though that is for a later practice."

*Tyran merely nodded his head. He knew that he would most likely use the Force in place of a lightsaber, for drawing the lightsaber would mean he was prepared to take a life. Tyran, however, was not. Ever since he had seen a Jedi Master impaled by his own lightsaber and shown for display in the Jedi Temple, he had horrors and nightmares of using a lightsaber ever since. It may have been a necessity to use in warring times, but Tyran would hope he would never have to use a lightsaber to kill in his lifetime.

Stepping back to observe the lightsaber and think of weapons self-defense, Tyran immediately thought back to his days as a Padawan. Shii-Cho was very simlistic and was built upon the basis of simple parries and strikes. It was not flashy or acrobatic, but it did the job. Simple, quick, and efficient were the words that Tyran thought of when he remembered Shii-Cho.*

"I am ready Master. But I do not own or have a lightsaber. Do you have a training lightsaber that I may use?"

Rev gave Tyran a grin before walking over to the corner and digging through a tan desk. Searching through a drawer he pulled out the small metallic hilt and gave it a quick look over. With the press of a button the yellow blade hissed to life and and smiled. Disengaging the tool he walked over to Tyran and handed it to him.

"This will suffice for now. Though I must remind you Tyran, the Lightsaber is a tool to the Jedi. It is not a last resort or a death bringer. Even my being a Guardian when I call upon it I do not intend to take a life, the Jedi's goal is to preserve life, for all parties. It is a tool to protect ourselves and others, if we take a life, it is because we were unable to stop another from causing harm to another or ourselves. The blade of a Lightsaber is nearly limitless, you'r goal should be not to kill a foe but to disarm them to the point where they must surrender. Cutting their weapon in two for instance, or cutting off ones hand. This will surely hurt the opponent, but they will not die."

Holding his own lightsaber at about chest level he began to practice the most basic form of the Jedi. He knew that Tyran knew it, but not to the extent that a Jedi should, he would need to be able to defend and attack if something called upon it.

"We will use a remote to have you practice blocking blaster bolts, then move on to some light dueling."

At the close of his words the small metal ball came floating out. It was simple and spun on a horizontal axis preparing to fire a shot when the boy was ready. It would be aimed at his right thigh just above the knee.

*Tyran murmured the phrase, "No harm, only disarm," over and over again until his mind was fully aware of the concept. This was just a practice session. Letting the little droid hover around him for several moments, Tyran let his emotions and feelings go, feeling the cold metal in his palm. Wrapping his fingers around the lightsaber was already a hard task, but to use it was another. With one flick of a finger, this metallic rod could become the most deadly melee weapon in the universe.

And so Tyran flicked it anyways. It was not exactly how Tyran wanted to remember the Jedi - peacemakers with the most powerful weapons. After all, that would sound like a totalitarian regime. Yet, here Tyran was, with a lightsaber in hand, positioned in with both feet shoulder-width apart. His right hand held the blade upward on the upper half of the hilt, looking as though the blade was positioned diagonally, and his left hand gripped the lower half of the lightsaber. Although holding a blade with two hands meant more openings after each strike and parry, the control and strength behind each attack and defense was very strong.*

"Ready Master."

The sounds in the training room would ring out as two blasts were fired at Tyran. The first at his right thigh, and the second coming in a half a second later at left shoulder. Both the blasts would send a shock through Rev's Padawan with enough force that he wouldn't wish for it again. That is unless the boy could deflect them away.

*Tyran did not need to move. He settled his mind deep into the center of the Force, letting his action flow smoothly and calmly. Anxiety and nervousness would get him killed. Eyes following the training remote as if in slow motion, Tyran could 'sense' the first shot at his right thigh. In response, Tyran twisted his right hand clockwise and downward as his left hand pushed upward and back. The motion itself looked like a crescent as Tyran blocked successfully and the bolt hit the lightsaber and bounced off to another part of the room.

The second bolt was aimed at his left shoulder, but Tyran's eyes were quick enough to see, meaning his body would respond as well. This time, Tyran twisted his right hand counter clockwise and his left hand downward and forward. The exact opposite motion would bring him to the left side of his body as the second bolt was deflected as well. Tyran was still unmoved, eyes fixated on the droid.*

Rev paced back and forth behind the droid watching as Tyran did work on the droids blasts. It was apparent he had been through the training as a youngling and hopeful. Perhaps Shii-Cho was not the form they should be starting on and instead the form Rev thought would better suit the Padawan.

"Hold..."

The droid powered down and lowered to the ground before turning off.

"I see you have significant training in Shii-Cho. I'll show you a very powerful, very defense oriented lightsaber form, I'm sure you have heard of it. It is Form III, Soresu. It is based entirely on defense, and works almost entirely on letting your opponent attack until they show a flaw or get tired out. I've seen Jedi deflect tens of blaster shots from these training droids without ever being touched, escape attacks that would normally be deadly. From all sides this form seems capable of protecting the user. I will now teach you it. You would normally block with a lightsaber, this form teaches you to redirect. Make your opponent frustrated and they will force a mistake, then you will use this opportunity to end the situation however you see fit."

*Tyran took that consideration into thought. Soresu seemed like the ultimate defense. The ideology was build up your defense until it was so refined that all you had to do was have enough stamina and endurance to wear the other person out. Blocks were much easier and energy saving than attacks, unless the opponent was extremely strong. Ideally, Soresu would be the best form of combat for Tyran.

However, Soresu was too time consuming. The time it would take for the other person to wear out and get tired would vary from each person, and Tyran didn't have enough stamina and endurance to keep up with most people. He wanted to learn a form that would be defensive, but also use the other person's energy and attacks to his advantage. Soresu did that, but not efficiently. Tyran wanted to be able to take down someone quickly and in a flash, not stretch out time and lengthen the fight out.*

"Master. I understand that Soresu would seem like the ideal form for me, but I would like to learn a lighsaber form more...efficient in a sense. Although it is the ultimate defense, I don't like drawing out fights longer than they have to be. I would want to end the duel quickly and be on my way rather than lengthen the fight out and wait for someone to tire out."

Rev nodded that was a downfall of that Jedi form. Taking into thought the other five forms now he came to a conclusion that Tyran might find himself happy with. He wanted to end it quickly and use what they had against them.

"Hmm, should you encounter another Jedi in combat it is true Soresu is not the best Form to take. Though against the slug throwers and blasters, you'd be near invincible. Perhaps it will be a Form you will train yourself in, in the future. A form that will take out your enemy quick all while maintaining a defense would have to be Form II, Makashi or Form IV. I know Form II to a greater extent though I have studied the basics of Ataru, Form IV. Have you heard of either? They are close in what they are effective in, though Form IV uses more Force powers to assist yourself in combat, and is weaker in confined space. Form II is the same only you rely more on the blade, and you attack quick and with precision, wearing your oppenent down by your precision, speed, and power."

Rev took a step back and waited for an answer from the boy, he was unsure which he would take as they both had their flaws and their pluses just like every other form.

*Once again, Tyran considered his options. He knew Makashi and Ataru after watching the holocrons in the Jedi Archives. These were both more attack-oriented forms. Again, Tyran lacked strength and willpower to fight with someone, therefore counter-acting and losing the power of the form itself if he applied it. Another reason why Tyran was doubting Form II and IV was because it against Tyran's ideal to attack first.

The only other form that could fit Tyran's ideology would be Form V, or Shien/ Djem So. It required physical strength, but also utilized it to its fullest potential. Not only was it an evolved from Soresu, but it also included attacks to make the opponent go on the defensive as well, making the other dueler more tired out and would make time run out faster. It did include most philosophies of other forms, so Tyran finally concluded that he would learn this form. He would have to build up muscle to truly master and apply this form, but the benefits were well worth the hard work.*

"Master. I appreciate your comments and thoughts of what I should learn, but I have come to my own conclusion. I would like to learn Form V, or Shien/ Djem So. It incorporates all the previous forms, rolling them into one and creating what I consider a balanced offense and defense. It's quick enough to get the job done without letting up one's defense. I think its the most appropriate form for me."

Rev listened to his padawans words and nodded in agreeance. He did not see the boy learning Form V, though they both knew he was fully capable if he put himself to work.

"I've Mastered Form V over the years, it would be an honor and pleasure to teach you the basics of Form V."

Crossing his arms after taking hold of his own lightsaber he looked down at Tyran.

"Shall we begin then?"

*Tyran's lightsaber still ignited, he returned to a different stance. This stance was called the high guard, arms positioned near the head and the lightsaber pointed upward at the sky. This was the stance Tyran would use for Form V. Breathing slowly, he waited for his Master to strike. That was the philosophy that Tyran would use to approach every situation. Never strike first, but when attacked, always strike back fast and hard.*

"Ready when you are Master."

Rev nodded to his padawan as he watched Tyran take on Form V. Rev instead would take on Form II, Makashi. It would train the lad on how to react to a different form, and the Master would be able to help him where he needed it.

"Be in control of your blade, though do not fear letting loose with it. Djem So is a skillful and almost wild Form. To best use it, you must let yourself go, the rest will come to you with experience..."

Holding his lightsaber in the right hand the blade fell to his side and pointed low. Taking in a deep breath he could tell Tyran was ready and quickly charged at his padawan. Two near lightning fast attacks would go against his pupil, the first an upwards hack across the body from Tyran's bottom left to upper right torso. The second would come in an even faster cut across his midsection. Both Rev knew would be easily blocked by Tyran, though should they not his thumb lay at ready on the blades igniter.
