Character Information​

—Biography Early Life Initiate Padawan T'vani's mother was from Le'ai, one of the larger settlements on Fiana, and was a member of one of the core families around the settlement's establishment. Her father was a satori, or hunter, who built a small name for himself in Teakroof, the largest settlement and de facto capital on Fiana. Given the vast distance between Le'ai and Teakroof, it's difficult to imagine how T'vani's parents met, fell in love, and gave birth to her. She inherited her mother's facial features, but she was also born with something nobody anticipated: white hair. This trait made T'vani easily recognisable, considering the prodigious status and expectations of a child born with such a feature. Her father, however, did not allow his daughter to be shackled to that stigmata. While he firmly believed that she could achieve great things and was destined for something splendid, he simultaneously clung to selfish hopes that his daughter could have a broader, freer future. Her parents, who couldn't be more different, did everything in their power to protect their daughter and ensure she lived the life she wanted to lead, not the one expected by the larger community. T'vani engaged in myriad activities and professions while living on Fiana and achieved great success and progress in every task she tried her hand at. However, her parents insisted that this was not due to a pedigree or an innate talent. They claimed it was her inner fortitude and how she tirelessly applied herself to everything she did. They enforced the idea that it was something everyone possessed. T'vani did not need the community to underestimate her, coddle her, or believe that she excelled at what she did solely because of a myth or legend. However, nobody expected a visiting Jedi to proclaim her sensitivity and attunement to the Force. While Fiani Jedi weren't unheard of and even aligned well with the Fiani penchant for wanderlust, it was something nobody ever considered. Despite this, T'vani's parents still refused to let her be unduly influenced or taken away for a life she may not want or enjoy. Occasionally, the Jedi would continue to visit, ensuring all was well with the young Fiani. As time went on and T'vani became older, she felt the nigh irresistible pull of the Force. She desired to join the Jedi Order, even after her parents repeatedly asked if she was confident it was what she wanted. After repeated assurances, her parents relented and allowed her to leave to become an Initiate. T'vani's time in the Jedi Order was as peaceful as one could hope for. Even though through the conflict between the Jedi Order and Darth Raze, her training was undisturbed and plentiful. The young girl met many Jedi Knights, learning how to use the Force, training her body, and familiarising herself with using a lightsaber she would one day acquire. As she grew as a Jedi, she also grew as a person. The once skittish, overly apologetic young Fiani blossomed into a young woman with confidence and righteousness. She learned to believe in herself. Her mind, once filled with beliefs that everything she did was because she was "blessed," slowly weathered into knowing that her skills and capabilities were hers alone. T'vani was the writer of her own story, and the legends associated with her seemingly deific birth were just that and nothing more: legends. All the while, T'vani retained her strong sense of empathy and compassion. She was in the Jedi Order for more than making the galaxy better. She was there to improve the lives of those she encountered. T'vani unerringly knew that she desired to help those in need and provide comfort, joy, and assistance to those within and without the Jedi Order. Dark and dangerous happenings beset the galaxy; she would be a light and shelter to the weak and disdained. Despite her ambitious desires, she still had a long way to go. She was still only a young initiate, and there was a lot of work left to do and many more things left to learn. However, no matter how far she had left to go, she would apply herself with everything she had. She would make those who trained her proud and become a Jedi that everyone could look up to and seek out for comfort and relief. Time will tell.
