Revanite1.jpg

Ancient History:
The original Order of Revan was founded over four thousand years ago in the heart of the ancient Sith Empire. After knowledge of the great Sith and Jedi Master Revan was found by a Sith named Tari Darkspanner, who had learned of his mastery of the force both Light and Dark and that he had personally faced the Sith Emperor in Combat. Tari came to believe that Revan had in fact emerged victorious and that it was he, and not the Emperor, who sat on the throne of the Empire. She soon founded the Order of Revan, which recruited members of all species and walks of life from across the Empire. Devoting themselves to Revan's teachings, the Order sought to bring the Empire into balance between the light and dark sides of the force the ways of peace and war from within

During the Great Galactic War Revan returned from the prison the Sith Emperor had placed him in centuries before and took personal lead of the Order. With his power and knowledge in both the force and military tactics he soon expanded the Order to the planets of Lehon, Rishi and Yavin 4. Revan corrupted by the emperor now wished to take control of both the empire and republic forming a new government under himself. Eventually a combined group from both the Empire and Republic defeated Revan's forces and eventually the man himself, lifting the veil of the dark side and allowing him to become one with the force.

Present History:
The present day Order was revived by the Sith Acolyte Braden Drake when after learning the history of Revan he travelled to DromundKaas and found the original sight of the Order, here he received a vision of TariDarkspanner and with her knowledge reformed the Order of Revan. With little power of his own the current Order is only a small gathering of men and women who believe what Revan taught is the right way for the galaxy. That there is no Light and no Dark only the force.

Revanite4.jpg

Galaxy Philosophy:
The Order of Revan, wish to create an strong organised galaxy wide government free of internal strife and able to defend itself against all evil. However they do not openly wish to cause a further war and instead look to influence the Empire, Rebellion, Sith and Jedi from the inside. Organisations like the Hutt's however are enemies of the Order and are high on the Order's list of targets. Men and Women from all Species and walks of life are accept into the order, just like Revan's allies.

Force Philosophy:
Balance, is the key word in the Order's philosophy regarding the force. Both the Dark and Light side of the force have their positives however neither can truly master the force. Instead one must bask in both sides of the force to receive true understanding and to reach their potential.

Up to you bud but unless it's an actual IC thread you don't need to though, I think you have to start as warrior then earn promotion same as me but that shouldn't take very long. Plus Dante could never be force master his abilities are limited to physica and mental augmentation.

Hey Braden, are we going to want our non force sensitive members to be able to fight force users? Since most of our members are likely to be regular people. Or just a small dedicated core of warriors formed of those who come to us with combat skills already like our 5 Sith acolytes.

I feel there should be a different category for non force using soldiers.

I like this faction.

Also - I think that creative a divide between the force users and non-users would create a snse of superiority for the force using members, which would be against the message of the Order in my opinion.

That's where Dante comes in.

Matukai training is capable of literally creating force sensitivty within people who lack it and Dante is also a Teras Kasi adept closing in on Teras Kasi master. If I combine teaching members Teras Kasi with Matukai traiing techniques our non force users would be capable of fighting and beating the force users if they put in the effort.

In terms of non force users, it all depends on the situation. Powerful none force users can take down force users if given the right opportunity. If they do come up against force users it may be with a revanite force user with them.

With the segregation this is kind of against what the Revanite's preach. They are open to all species, force sensitive and non. Just like Revan's followers, so they wouldn't have a different ranking system for non-force sensitive's. The only force sense only positions is Force Master as well the title says it all.

I'll teach the non force users, I can't train Sith or Jedi anyway I don't have skills in that kind of force use or lightsaber combat, but I can teach the non force users a combination of Teras Kasi and Matukai training techniquesso that they can face force users.

Great at the moment I can only train up to a certain level but it would probably be fitting with how small we are to begin with. But I am trying to push Braden to learn as quickly as possible.

That's fine with me :) We just need approval to get this running then :).

I love the lower battle pic, it's about the only one I've ever seen that shows Sith/Jedi as equals with non force users. Jedi and Sith are alike in the fact that they segregate themselves off so a faction that treats accepts them entirely as equals is quite refreshing.

I'll just say that I like the theory and beliefs behind this faction. It's partially in line with how my character thinks, which is partially whey she left the Sith in the first place.

That said, I'd be willing to have her associate with the Order and offer training to any who need it. Being a former Sith Crusader, she is more than capable of training Acolytes/Initiates in more advanced techniques.

Well I can't speak for the others but Dante would be happy to take you up on training for force sense and force speed.

Would that be joining us or acting as a freelancer?

@Caine I like that one as well. Yes the basis of the Order is with the force users but the non-force users are as big a part. Again just like Revan's and The Exile's companions.

@Gamov More than welcome to come along even if its not fully in at the moment. Though would need to work something IC'ly out as it is a kind of secretive organisation as both Jedi and Sith would be very anti-order. But sure we could work out some training thread into Braden revealing more about the Order.
