The markings on his face beamed like a shuttle runway, as his face was flushed with heat at the thought of pole dancing. He pulled back slightly shaking his head as his words cracked with shock, "P-pole...dancing.." He'd bring his robotic hand up shaking it, "Oh come on now you're just stealing the egg out of a Thranta's nest.," he'd grumble, how could he have any appeal in that department?

"You're confusing me with.." But, he didn't have time to finish his rebuttal. It seemed that Nash had all the intention in the galaxy of putting him to the test, and he wanted to fold comepletely inwards, but something told him not to. His robotic hand would firmly grip her own as he pulled himself up from the snow. What the kriff are we getting ourselves into? He would down his 'cider' in one gulp, hoping that it would provide enough courage for the rest of the night.

He would take her own, intertwining some, "Well, not really..but, my master always said to put yourself out there," he'd say with a nervous laugh. "Shall we head to the castle? I heard there's a party there."

Music OOC [Recurring]

Vayla kept her eyes ahead, seeing with the same vision she might have had when her eyes were not so different from flesh and blood. Now, as the celestial lights danced in the sky, taking her back to the aurora of Pantora, her electric eyes might have been dancing with them. Mila was not ignored in the slightest, though, with every word spoken from the Twi’lek entering the Pantoran’s hearing as though it were just these two small souls and the universe that embraced them.

Vayla didn’t find words worthy of Mila’s comment about poetry. She herself didn’t know where her speech had come from, except a moment of melody between mind and matter, but her friend was right—there really was no word for beauty besides “beauty”, and the word sometimes didn’t do itself justice. We don’t need to speak it. We can see it. Up there in the sky. Beauty.

“Would that I could stand and stare for nights on end just like this one… Force be with us, sister, someday all the worlds will look upon their stars and their hearts will leap— WAGH!

Maybe she had simply been too focused on her own sentimental self, the soothing tunes that Mila’s spirit was now giving out, or the gleam of outer space, but whatever the reason she had been caught off guard by the body that had just leapt upon another body, though fortunately not her own. Clearing her throat to excuse her less than subtle gasp, Vayla ogled at the young man who had just pounced upon his master for a coiling hug. One spilled Naboo Cider later and the tickle tournament commenced. Vayla didn’t know what to do besides stand there and feel her lips steadily creep upwards, before the amusement was all too much and she erupted in laughter.

There was an unmistakable look in her fellow knight’s eyes that spoke a thousand words of ‘Help me! Help me!’. Well, it wasn’t the Jedi way to indulge in sadism, but sometimes it had its place. Oh, should I do something? I don’t know… This is much too rich! Vayla, though, wasn’t the only audience as she received another man approaching with steam rising from his cup. Seeing what was about to happen, the least that Vayla could do was collect Mila’s drink lest the snow end up drinking it, holding the cup until Mila got up to reclaim it.

Just then, the male Jedi grabbed a hold of Brahe and lifted him right up, and Vayla had to stifle her giggling fit with a hand between her teeth. It was too much. The man was even showing signs of losing self-control, as far as breaking into laughter went. These. Moments like these are what matter. She followed his finger in the distance and the individuals yonder. It wasn’t a terrible idea to mosey and mingle, though Vayla was just as content to familiarize herself with the folk already in front of her.

“And, I’ll add,” she held up a stern finger to Brahe, doing her best to play tutor. “Tickling is a technique reserved for the latter stages of one’s training. In fact, to tickle, one must first be tickled. It is a form of torture, don’’t you know?” She smiled in as much jest as truth.

"If you say I'm mistaking you for anyone else, I would understand if I were looking at them. But I'm not." She winked teasingly, enjoying him seeming to be rattled. So huh... definitely blushing. Who knew she still had the magic touch, even after becoming a Padawan? She chuckled as he took her hand and pulled upright, bracing against the snowy bank when he did with his robotic hand.

There was a definite story behind that... but she would have to ask that later.

She scooped up her own cup and finished the last of hers as well... however, when she expected him to let go and get his distance, instead he held his grip. A bit of heat touched her own cheeks at the proximity... not that anyone could tell. The smile faltered... and she seemed to consider something, gaze briefly glancing down to their hands.

"Oh?" She perked up at the word 'party', and waggled her brows at him, her teasing mood returned. "Well then, lead the way. And this time, I guess I'll have to follow." He wasn't such a bad guy after all. A bit shy, maybe... but given time, she could see who the Knight would be, the potential of who he could become.

She didn't have many genuine friends... but he seemed a good type. She had originally planned to let him be after a bit of chatter, but it seemed he needed the company. She actually didn't mind, for once... and it was surprising. When they would get close enough to the crowds and noises, she took care to toss her cup and stick in the disposal unit, mindful of any being in her way and giving a smile and small wave to anyone she recognized.

The galaxy danced overhead, shimmering with blues and greens... and for once, she felt all was well. She hoped this feeling could last a little while longer.

At least long enough for them both to remember to enjoy peace before the chaos.

Oren hadn't considered how cold it really was, but as they walked back towards the festival and he felt the cool cold rush of the wind against his face. He could feel her golden eyes peering towards his robotic hand, but he didn't mind. It was a part of him now, and he had come to terms with the things that had happened on Utapau.

Instead of pulling away, he would open himself up to the warmth that she provided as they walked. When she would throw her trash away, so would Oren, his eyes shifting towards the dancing color along the ice. It was nice to be with someone that wasn't Nara's age, he loved the girl like a daughter, but he couldn't take talking about droid parts or the basics of the force for much longer. He just wanted to feel like a normal adult. Maybe I've pushed myself a bit too much lately, have I been missing out on this.

The two of them would enter the interior of the ice palace. All around them aliens and humans from across the galaxy were seen chatting, dancing and drinking at the ice lounge. He had never seen something like it before, the music was loud, but it wasn't obnoxious. Through the force he could feel all the sense of happiness pouring from them all.

As they entered the floor, his brown eyes would drift over to the Cathar, watching as the fur on her face change hue with each blinking light. He would lean in close, never letting go of the hand, "Well..let the student teach the master." He'd say with a chuckle.

They were silent as they walked through the gates, but beyond...

Nash was absolutely delighted.

She had never seen so much snow and ice in one place before! The shifting colors, the sounds... the beat of the music thrummed in her bones, pulsed in sync with her heart, and she was already starting to warm up to the feel of it thrumming in her bones. But it was more than that. It was the general joy that pulsed here, the light, the very ambiance was something she almost felt back on Nar Shaddaa… and for a moment, she felt keenly homesick. Her gaze almost seemed lost, gazing off into the crowd, but Oren's voice brought her back to the present, and she gave him a small, sly grin.

"Be careful how you say that," She almost purred, giving a wink. But a genuine smile lurked at the corners of her lips; she could feel the warmth flush on her cheeks at the surprise proximity, then down her neck, and she cleared her throat, releasing his hand.

"So, dancing..." she grinned, grasping both of his hands in her own, closing her eyes.

"Feel the beat; it's the pulse, the tempo that sets the mood. Try and move your feet with it, slowly... and I'll help. Follow me first." She chuckled, taking her left foot back, moving back just enough so he could see. "Bring your right foot in with my left..." she opened her eyes, then stared straight into his.

"Now. Show me what you've got, Zapan." Her tone was laced with that hint of mischief again... but she was having fun.

She briefly wondered if there were any others of their order here... and if they were, too, enjoying a moment away from the Darkness and heaviness that always weighed this galaxy. She knew she was.

Through the subtle movement of her eyes, the way her lips curved to reveal the fangs of her teeth. As her hands took his own, he couldn't help but look down. It had to be an odd sensation for her, his left hand, made of brittle and burnt flesh, it was rough and uneven to touch, dulled by the forgings of the obsidian rocks on Ifrane made it hard to distinguish the small bumps of her paw like hands.

His right hand made of crude and cold metal. He saw her hand intertwine with the mechanical contraption, yet he couldn't truly feel the touch. A soft smile formed on his face as he listened to her speak, closing her eyes slowly as he felt the music around them, the sensation and the beat. In a way it felt like tapping into the force.

He could feat the beat and vibration, though his feet were still learning to move at the exact time, he would step with his right slightly out of pace with the song. His brown eyes would open as he took in her comfort. Feeling the beat, he would slide his left foot to the side, pulling his body and hopefully her with him. "How did you learn to dance?" He'd ask as he tilted his head.

He seemed self-conscious, and for some reason she couldn't figure out why. At first she didn't realize... but then, when she saw what he was looking at, she understood.

...Huh.

Looks like he had many stories to tell; oddly enough, she was really looking forward to hearing them, and knowing the Knight. She knew she was smiling, but she couldn't help it. This was more her element; she was sure she'd get used to the Jedi and their ways in time, but being out of temples and away from the strictures of learning took a weight off her shoulders, and she could ease in the moment. He seemed a bit more relaxed, too.

His question, and movement, brought her along with him, right foot in tandem with a light gracefulness that belied her tall frame. She gave a slight shrug, slide-stepping into his side and pressing closer.
"Oh, you know... family of eight smugglers on a freighter. When you weren't the one manning the hyperlanes, what else was there to do?" A small, wistful glint glimmered in her eyes, and her smile turned ever so slightly sad. "It was one of the few things I was good at... that, and fighting." She grinned sheepishly, shaking her head. "Unfortunately, many within the galaxy are very xenophobic, and as the oldest of my group, I had to protect all of them. Dancing... it keeps me grounded, you know?"

She lifted her gaze back to his, grinning.
"Don't be self-conscious. You're doing well, by the way." Her right hand lightly pressured on his left in affirmation, before taking a step back with her right foot, then closing her eyes to feel the beat, head tilted back slightly. She wanted to lose herself in it, but had the feeling it would overwhelm the Knight. She was content to take her time for now.

She sensed him before she heard him - her control of the Force must be getting better she mused as her fellow Padawan Giran reached her.

She looked up. Was the night nice? "The weather is clement," she replied, "and I suspect the Light Ceremony is not to be missed, so all in all I'd say yes, a nice night." Fiach tended to take things literally. Aware that Brahe was nearby, she scanned the crowd for him before returning her attention back to Giran.

"We are Jedi, or rather aspiring Jedi. Why wouldn't we help you?" The thought of not helping anyone that asked seemed entirely odd to Fiach - and had been the case long before she had been found to be Force sensitive.

The idea of a tattoo, however, was not something she was expected. Ordinarily she spoke as she found and a simple but form, 'No' was almost on her lips when the words of her fathers stopped it from reaching Giran's ears. At a loss for what to say next, she once again looked around for Brahe as her left eyebrow did its best to communicate her innermost feelings on the subject of tattoos.

Brahe was indeed caught off guard, and the first instinct when a 6 foot tall giant stranger picked you up off the ground was to do a back kick to the groin.

And Brahe ALMOST did that, but stopped upon hearing the man's voice. And the fact that he had pointed out two of his bestest of friends- Fiach and Giran. The padawan was mentally all over the place, listening to Vayla speak as well about the intricacies of the tickle arts. One part of his mind wanted to rush over to his friends, another wanted to keep tickling Master Mila, and another....well the last option was the one he acted upon in earnest.

Grinning naughtily as he was put back down on the ground, Brahe yelled out to his friends.

"Fiach! Giran! Over here!" He said, before lunging towards Vayla with a sudden force fueled push and using tickle form 4, Ataru! Brahe stabbed at Vayla's sides with a rather aggressive flurry of index finger pokes in an attempt to make her laugh.

"I am a master of the tickle arts! Fear my wrath!"

Giran sighed. Fiach hadn't even responded. She'd just hitched her left eyebrow up as if to say 'are you serious' and had continued scanning the crowd. Well it was only one rejection. The night was still young. Plus he'd got to see Fiach do that eyebrow thing which was so expressive it was almost funny. Giran burst out laughing. It was hard to be unhappy on a night like tonight.

As Giran's laughing fit came to an end he heard his name. He turned and spotted Brahe just about to launch a devastating flurry of tickles aimed at immobilising his opponent. His form was very strong. It would take a true master of the art to counter his sneak attack.

"Come on Fiach, they look like they're having fun." Giran said leading the way over to them.

He bowed to the Knights he didn't know.
"Hello, master's it's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Giran, another one of Mi'la's children as you can see she has really been getting around" he said evenly gesturing at his fellow padawans. He then turned to his master.
"Mother it would be my pleasure to remove this wamp rat from your vicinity, if it would so please you?" He spoke gravely, gesturing to Brahe, his façade only broken by a rueful smile.

Mila wasn't sure what to do truth be told, as she had just recovered from the assault on her ribs, only to not only have a fellow knight save her from Brahe, but for her padawan to immediately set upon Vayla and try the same devious tactics on the woman. She felt a great deal of embarrassment though, with her headtails coiling about her neck like a scarf. She glanced first to Felix, then to Vayla and Brahe, before seeing the green skinned face of Giran appearing beside her. She was starting to wonder if someone had drugged her, because this was just insane. "Giran, I'd really appreciate it." She started, before trying to pull Brahe off of the jedi knight. Tickle master or not, she was the master of the boy, and this behavior was....while amusing, just not what she needed right now. Mila attempted to step in between Vayla and Brahe, as she wanted to keep her padawan in check. "Brahe, you are starting a war that you have no chance in winning, I'd advise you to cease hostilities while that is still an option." Mila cautioned, hoping to have gotten him under control. She looked to Felix for help, though she doubted there would be any help from the man; especially after Brahe nearly hit him with a low blow.

Aware she may have inadvertently upset Giran — although she did not know for sure, or even why — she was pleased that she heard Brahe call them over. It broke what could have become a most awkward silence. But then Giran began laughing, so she presumed she hadn’t actually offended him, or maybe he forgave easily? Who knew…Fiach definitely didn’t.

She looked from Brahe to Giran and back again. Fun was clearly a subjective subject but chose not to contradict Giran. “I’m right behind you,” she said as they walked over.

She bowed in a formal greeting as she invariably did and at a convenient break in the conversation added, “Padawan Fiach, and part of the growing collection out Master has kindly taken under her wing.” And as the conversation turned to banter, she continued to smile and her lips remained firmly shut.
