You need to cut back on the snarkiness, Valen, if you continue with the attitude, then you're going to start receiving infractions.

As stated in the discord chat, 48 hours have expired, it was more than enough time for members to write themselves out.
I do agree it was enough time to write out. So those of us STAYING didn’t get a chance to write, there was an established posting order that had been put in place and obviously no one can follow it and just post when they want to. As I recall “I” was next after Valen not Insalius. So by the established order he shouldn’t get to post yet. But its fine. I don’t care anymore. Sith can have their “bloodshed” and “Head counts” for their characters and not try and build a fun story and thread. That’s fine, I’m over trying to appease everyone. Get angry, write an infraction or even block me from the site, idc but that’s wrong and YOU know it.

I'm not sure what the deal is with attitude from members, but its uncalled for. If anyone else wants to get an attitude, then the staff is not going to hesitate with further disciplinary action.

@Tsunami Thank you! As a starfighter, though, you have plenty of ways to get out of it. I don't mind if you flee, just wanted to make it a struggle if you wanted to continue.

@Tsunami No problem. I'll be interested to see how you can get out of this predicament, to be honest.

I was unaware that we could jump out of order to write ourselves out? I was waiting my turn...?

So I'm out like I said, but these are gonna be my final comments. I do think a lot of the stuff @Insalius did was a bit, convenient. Your weapons just happened to already be powered up, you had the ability to slave the entire prisons systems to a console on your ship, and immediately control said systems in the span of what seemed like seconds.

Like I said my character is escaped, but it does seem to suck for everybody else. Though to my Jedi peeps as far as I can tell, a time frame of how long it takes the prison to leveled isn't specified, so I'd say you all still have opportunity to get to some kind of safety. So I'd say go for that if possible.

Also and my last point, I'd say is this action going to have any repercussions on Kurtis IC? I know he's part of the Sith Impire, but he just committed a mass, unauthorized execution of defenseless criminals. He killed more than likely thousands of prisoners no telling how many innocent civilians(Since the bombardment started a km away from the prison and then continued down into the planet's crust!), and hundreds of fellow Sith forces to stop like 40 Jedi. I know you say that the blood is fully on your characters hands and I must admit I don't know the laws or regulations of the Imperial Legion, but I'd say he qualifies for being classified as a war criminal.

I just wanna say it's cool if you this is how this plays out, but I'd really like to see some serious consequences for Kurtis IC. Ok rant done and I promise I rarely like to bring this kinds of stuff up I just felt compelled to this one time.

That was not an attempt to be snarky or have an attitude. In discord you asked us to move any discussion of this thread to the OOC. I was only stating my understanding of Abe's post for the other members still in the thread. Since I am no longer in the thread it would be up to them to figure out what to do next.

Again, not just to be disrespectful. I posted that only to clear up what I thought the prior timing post meant.

As I see it, @TheBrokenMadMan @Korvo @Fantasy Liver and @Melania are yet to post/escape from the Jedi. Unless they post otherwise, can we take as read that they escape and carry on? In which case can I propose two threads: one with @Insalius and @Tsunami (and @Richie B. ?) and one with @Aberforth , @Talon maara and myself on the ground. Since the hand waving override of the controls was made permanent, any actions we can take defensively are unlikely to be seen from space and so the actual interaction between the two arenas is likely to be minimal.

I think the ruse that the imperials used here was clever in principle, but has required a lot of sailing close to the wind. I want to thank all the people who answered my call for rescue and I think it's a little unfair to dismiss as merely side their frustrations that have come about because of a combination of the large number of players in the thread along with the imperials using a trick that in part relied upon the disorganisation of that large number.

I have particularly felt those frustrations, not only because of the usual risk of character death, but as the captive I am unable to partake in anything else while this goes on. Moreover, with the end of the timeline approaching, if Al-Ric doesn't survive, I imagine that I will write a generic meat-head PvP character to join the beat-em-up on Korriban. On the other hand I believe I have some interesting directions to take Al-Ric should be survive this, especially if it involves a self sacrificial Sith.

And I second the motion that blowing up a prison ought to have IC consequences

TL;DR can we forget what has gone so far and split into two interesting story threads for the people who are still keen.

I think what has happened here on a more serious note is ironic. There have been double figures of Jedi, dog pile the thread, in order to A) Rescue a Fellow PC but B) Possibly kill a Sith in the process!

All that's happened here is the realisation that Qui-gon was always right and that there "Is always a bigger fish" in this instance! It is a Star Destroyer!

There was never a confirmed matter of a story based thread. I would not have joined it if there was! I am currently trapped in a Tractor Beam and about to get vapourised if something miraculous doesn't happen!

Had people's characters not been threatened with death, there would still be numerous Jedi ready to Dogpile @Aberforth and rescue @Ulysses

So can from this post onwards be more cheery, upbeat and overall less whiny, because hell, If I was a new member reading this "Very active thread" I would be like FTSIO....

All Jedi on the ground inside the prison complex will likely be unable to escape the bombardment.

If this is "likely be unable" as in beyond the realms of possibility, and this is an admin ruling on the matter. I might as well give up now. As for @Fantasy Liver there seems to be no opposition from the imperial side to his escape - there was certainly none offered when I asked for the benefit of the doubt to be given them earlier.

The imperial plan has played fast and loose with various rules, but I for one have played along in good faith because I thought there was an interesting story in it.

If, however, the star destroyer does not autohit the prison and everything in it, I'd like to continue. The posting order has gone to the wall, with the added time pressures, but on the imperial side, @Insalius has jumped @Aberforth. I reckon that gives 48 hours from his post for @Richie B. and then the Jedi can post again?

I think it depends on whether FL's post is valid

He posted late on the escape round/insalius posted early. Where we stand now depends on which view you take of that question.

In any event, I wouldn't advocate delay

@Insalius was told to hold off for 48 hours before he posted bombardment and attacks - He's did this.

From Insalius's post people need to post one after the other, within their individual 48 hour window.

E.g. I am waiting for @Richie B. to post from when he posts I have 48 hours to post, and then the order continues...

Very simple guys.

So can we get a new written posting order just to clarify who’s up when?

Hey guys!

Please be aware that if your character is in that prison and you didn't post an exiting in that 48 hour window, then your character will be a victim of the bombardment. The prison isn't made to withstand such fire power.

Thanks!
