Also, are these threads likely to be closed, or will they be open to external competition? Like, if a Jedi thread were to be going after a trinket in an abandoned enclave, could an errant treasure hunter (or somesuch) get all up in that goodness, or would it be exclusively Jedi?

Some quests may be Jedi only, others may be open to more people. It all depends on the quest.

That makes sense. Also, out of interest, is there likely to be a steady flow of quests, or are they going to be more sporadic? I'm assuming the latter, given the heaver workload (being actively run by staff and all) but it'd be helpful to know to keep an eye out for them.
