Searching for Coffee

[Alaisia]

(OOC: This is actually a step back for my character. I had a master but they have gone REALLY inactive, so I'm starting over. Any can join this thread.)

Groaning, Alaisia stood and looked around her. It had been a while since the Jedi, Xaliv, had brought her to the temple from Manaan. She still didn't have a Master, which worried her. She hoped something would happen soon to have a decision brought on who would become her Master.

She stood and walked out of her room. To her left was a balcony walkway, so she went and leaned against the wall of it as she tried to wake herself up. She needed coffee, but she wasn't sure where to get some. So instead of going back to her room she set off down the walkway, hoping to run into someone who would know where she could get something to drink.

 

[Hishamori]

Hishamori was enjoying a nice relaxing day, drinking some juice while reading a datapad, on random news and current events going on, she had her hood up today, since it helped with the sun when going outside, she noticed a younger padawan walking down the walkway as she sipped her juice and she looked lost I should probably help Hish thought to herself before getting up and putting the datapad away, and walking over to the younger padawan "Hi there, do you need some help little one?" Hish said as she stared down at the younger padawan, Hish was obviously much taller then the padawan who she was talking to, and with her hood up you couldn't really see her face, besides the bottom part of her nose and mouth.

 

[Alaisia]

Alaisia stopped herself from staring under the hood of the one coming to talk to her. She seemed nice, asking if she needed some help, so Alaisia smiled at her.

"I'm having trouble waking up," she says, forcing back a yawn. "I was wondering where I could find some coffee or juice."

 

[Zay]

Kaythous had just finished his training routine and was covered in sweat and dirt. As he made his way back to his dorm his stomach growled rather loudly and he looked down as if confused. "Gosh.. you act like I never eat." he said to his stomach as he walked. he reached his dorm and showered then donned his usual black tunic and gray breeches and black boots. He began making his way to the Cafeteria in order to stifle his protesting tummy.

 

[Hishamori]

Hish smiled and gestured the younger padawan to follow "This way, I'll lead you to the cafeteria, you can also get breakfast if your feeling hungry" Hish said with a polite smile and tone directed at the younger padawan "By the way, what's your name? if you don't mind me asking?" Hish asked curiously.

 

[Alaisia]

Alaisia's face turned red as she realized that she hadn't introduced herself.

"Alaisia," she says. "I'm Alaisia Kellawryn. And yes, food sounds very good right now." At that moment, her stomach rumbled and she suppressed a groan.

 

[Hishamori]

Hish giggled a bit before starting to lead her towards the cafe My name is Hishamori Hashama. It's nice to meet you Alaisia" Hish said with a polite smile "So how long have you been here?" Hish asked curiously as they walked.

 

[Alaisia]

Alaisia smiled at Hish as they walked, stuttering a little as she spoke.

"Not long," she says. "I was on the planet Manaan before. I was on a ship that was attacked. We crashed into the ocean and I was found by a Selkath patrol. They put me in a locked room, though." Alaisia shivered, hating even remembering the feeling of being trapped. "I tried to escape the room and that's when I was found by Nireas. He was a Mirilian who was on the planet, too."

Alaisia looked up at the older padawan before continuing. "We were both found by a Jedi who brought us here, but he's vanished since we arrived."

 

[Hishamori]

Hish made an ahh sound and nodded in understanding "Well you don't have to worry about that here, and welcome to the temple of Anoth, by the way." Hish said with a smile finally arriving at the cafe "Here we are, welcome to the cafe, whatever you need you can probably get here unless there's a shortage, which isn't that common. There's actual food here, and fresh meat in the storage, I delivered it here from Arbra, so you don't have worry about eating.. 'rations'" Hish said with a disgusted noise and shivered a bit, before smiling again and gestured Alaisia to the ordering station, before heading over herself and getting something to eat and drink before sitting down at one of the tables.

 

[Alaisia]

Alaisia thanked Hish before moving on to the cafeteria. She grabbed three pieces of fruit and then went to the drink station. She poured herself a big cup of coffee but, as she turned toward the tables, one of her fruit fell from her hands. She swore as she saw her apple roll across the floor.

 

[Athren Firenze]

Athren had found himself in that very same cafeteria. He had been there for about half an hour and just finished off a decent meal to get him through the rest of his day. He was sitting at a table alone with nothing but an empty plate and a mug half full of coffee in front of him. He had watched as handfuls of people had entered and left the room and none of them had made even the slightest effort to speak with him.

It probably didn't help that he looked pretty shady at the moment, he had dark robes on and a black hood up. It was just his style. He had recently spent so much time hiding before he arrived that it was just a habit to cover his appearance.

Lifting his mug to his lips he took a sip, at this very moment more people had entered the cafeteria and one of them caught his attention. It was a younger woman and he couldn't help but stare for a moment. Setting his mug down, he put his attention to others in the room, scanning from face to face to get familiar with some of the residence of the temple. He then felt a light bump against his foot, it had felt like a tennis ball had rolled across the room and softly bumped into it. ~ What the hell was that?~ He wondered before looking down to see that an apple had stopped in its tracks against his boot.

Looking up he saw the woman looking slightly displeased, probably because it was her apple. He leaned down slowly and stretched his right hand to grab it firmly. Athren had then got up from his seat and began to approached the woman.

As he stopped in front of her he extended his right hand out with the apple. " Excuse me" He said with a light pause, just making sure he got her attention before continuing. "I believe this belongs to you." He said with a bright shining smile on his face. With his left hand he reached up and pulled down is hood. His blonde hair stood spiked up at the bangs and his ocean blue eyes would have attempted to stare into hers.

 

[Alaisia]

"I believe this belongs to you."

Alaisia nearly screamed when she saw the source of the voice. The dark robes and hood reminded her too much of a Sith. It took nearly all her nerve to keep from shying away from him. But he couldn't be Sith... He was in a Jedi Temple. Other than that, she couldn't sense anything truly bad about him. Perhaps he just liked the dark robes.

"Thank you," Alaisia says, taking the apple back. "Um..." She struggled for a moment with what to say and then decided on her name. "I'm... I'm Alaisia."

 

[Athren Firenze]

Athren could notice the slight discomfort in the woman's actions, he felt kind of bad as he didn't intend to do that to her. He was just trying to be a friendly guy and help her out. Smiling reassuringly at her, Athren said. " No need to thank me. I'm just trying to help.. Also, It's a pleasure to meet you Alaisia." He then extended his right hand out once again, this time for a hand shake. " I'm Athren, Athren Firenze." Once again, he had his eyes focused on hers. He didn't want to break contact for he thought her eyes were beautiful, one of the nicer things he's seen since he had been here anyway. In fact, he though she was beautiful in general.

 

[Hishamori]

Hishamori glanced over towards where Alaisia was and the other padawan who's name she over head was Athren, and she smiled at the general feelings rolling off Athren and had to resist giggling at how beauty struck he was with Alaisia, and decided to get up from the table she was at and sit down over where they were, and said a simple and quiet hello to Athren, and continued to eat, you could still only see the lower part of her face, since she still hadn't felt like pulling her hood down.

 

[Zay]

Kaythous entered the Cafe... finally. Even after spending time in the temple he still got lost form time to time. He chuckled at himself as he shook his head and entered the room thinking "I would forget my head if it wasn't attached...."

Kaythous made his way through the line and eventually made it to where the group was slowly froming. Kaythous was just about as outgoing as people come but he didn't fancy disturbing people when they were getting food they tended to be grumpier then usual when they were lacking in food. As he approached the three he heard the dark robed figure say "I believe this belongs to you." Kaythous also noted the shyness in which the younger female responded. Clearly these two didn't know each other. That's when Kaythous noticed Hishamori. Kaythous had met Hisamori several times and had learned a lot from her during his time at the temple on Arbra. He was excited to see her here and even more excited to show her his newly constructed lightsaber.

Now having a reason to engage the group Kaythous took his food and moved in their direction. As Kaythous approached he Watched as the robed figure removed his hood to reveal spiky blond hair and bright blue eyes. The young man introduced himself "I'm Athren, Athren Firenze." Kaythous diverted his attention to Hish as she moved closer to the others and took a seat. Kaythous waved to her and called out a greeting his usual smile on his face. Kaythous took a seat. Only after he took the seat did her realize that the person sitting in front of him might not actually be Hish since their hood was still hiding much of their face but Kaythous thought this person felt familiar so even if they weren't Hish He wouldn't be deterred... He had done dumber things before and this would be something they could laugh at later.

 

[Hishamori]

Hish smiled at Kaythous is was nice to see the little padawan again "hello to you, Kaythous, I do hope your training is going well. And your enjoying Anoth." Hish said with a smile, Hish had to admit she didn't really like anoth due to the fact it was on a desert planet and she hated deserts. I'd rather keep my skin pale and not get sunburned.. again. Hish thought with a small wince which was hidden by her hood.

 

[Zay]

Kaythous smiled as Hish spoke. Partly because he hadn't just made a fool of himself partly because he was happy to see a friend. "Anoth is... uh nice. I have to say I preferred Arbra but since we last spoke I was assigned a master and was asked to relocate here. My training couldn't be going any better! I have learned a lot since we last met. What about you? how has your training been?"

 

[Hishamori]

Hish smiled "It's been good, I'm actually planning on taking my Jedi knight trials soon, so I might become a Jedi knight soon." Hish said with large smile, and went back to eating.

 

[Alaisia]

Alaisia smiled at Athren, starting to feel more at ease. She saw Hish sitting at a table near them with another padawan so she motioned for them to sit. She began peeling her apple with a knife as she turned again to Athren and asked:

"So how long have you been here on Anoth?"

 

[Zay]

Kaythous's face lit up with excitement for his friend. "Hishamori, That's amazing! I know you'll do great!" Kaythous looked over to the two Hish had moved closer to and nodded a greeting followed by a warm smile. He noticed they were still talking and didn't want to intrude on their conversation so he turned his attention back to Hish.
