In her dorm, L’Veth was putting the final touches on her outfit when she heard her phone buzz, but she ignored it for the moment. It was definitely outside of her comfort zone to be in such a fanciful getup, but she had to admit that the dress she’d found really did look good on her.
Applying a last touch of makeup to her check, she finally deigned to look at her phone and saw the message from Drexus. She smirked at it and wondered just what the dude had gotten up to. A chariot? What could that possibly mean.
As she stepped out of her dorm in her new dress - in fact, the only dress she owned - L’Veth blushed a little bit in shy embarrassment at the limo Drexus had procured for them.
A limo, huh?. She asked as she got in, trying her best not to mess up her clothes. I have to say I’m a little impressed..
Once they arrived at the prom, L’Veth would take Drexus’ arm without any hesitation, letting him lead her into the party proper. She might have had a tough exterior and outwardly, well, hostile attitude a lot of the time, but L’Veth liked Drexus enough to drop that mild facade for a night.
Somehow, that doesn’t surprise me at all. Someone as stiff as you are with a lightsaber couldn’t possibly know how to dance, she said teasingly, flashing Drexus a smirk.
I’d love to have a dance. C’mon.
Heading out on the dance floor with Drexus, L’Veth would wrap her arms around his waist and for the first time realized just how much, uh, taller he actually was than her. It made her feel tiny, but in a good way.
I was pretty surprised when you asked me out, She said, looking up at him while they moved to the music, even if it was a bit slowly. She didn’t want to overwhelm Mister-Can’t-Dance with her sick moves right away.
I’m glad that you did. A smile parted her lips after she said it, and even L’Veth was a bit shocked at her honesty.
Oh well, it was true and she wasn’t afraid to say it.
