I think we've covered all active members. Personally I'm not sure how the votes of people creating characters in order to vote should be weighed.

It's been brought to my attention that Gamov, the sole remaining member of the Hutt leadership, has said that he won't be active for awhile, meaning there's no one to approve character sign ups. So for all intents and purposes, unless Gamov comes back, it's impossible to create a new character and then vote.

People that have actually RP'ed in the last month. Waiting for others to vote just because they happen to still have a character on the roster isn't really having the actual posters decide. Regardless, with the current nominees the result seems pretty clear and it'd be nice to continue the IC with an active FL staff asap. :)

The staff doesn't approve faction sign ups, least of all to allow non-faction members to vote in a faction-only election, so in this case... yes, we do.

If I'm going to count threads and participants I'm bound to miss someone who posted somewhere three weeks ago. Let the actives have a chance to cast their opinions before you decide to get into an argument fest with an administrator about how you feel this thread somehow hinders your ability, or the faction's ability, to rp.

Like I said, you can't just make a Hutt character to vote. You have to sign up, and then it has to be approved by one of the faction's leaders. Unfortunately there are none, so I can't accept your nomination. I'm not going to be accepting nominations from anyone who is going to create a character just to vote.

This will be the last comment I make on the matter. I'm not going to continue going around in circles on this one.

I've been working for the Cartel, kinda independent contracting stuff, for a while now.. Was gonna get official as one of Norby's mercs once our thread wrapped up. No chance I could vote is there...? :/ If not I totally understand. Sorry for any clutter that this post causes as well.
