New Hutt Faction Leader (vote)

We're not booting anyone from their current roles, because that would be disruptive to the current faction management of the timeline, so Weiss and Ben were grandfathered in, but we are starting enforcement of the rule now for all current and future open FL spots. An admin will never be appointed as FL again, and FLs who are tapped to become admins will need to resign as FL if they want to become admins. So by next timeline, the FLs will be 100% non-admins. We're already going to be adding that to the site rules as part of the rules revamp that we're actively working on for the next timeline, so it's not just going to be something that's kinda/sorta enforced.

I hate to be so blunt about this, but it's not up for debate.

As for your nomination, the first post mentions that the decision for choosing a new FL is up to members of the Hutt faction. So far as I know, based on your sig, you don't have a Hutt character, so unless I'm mistaken then I can't accept your nomination. Someone who is in the Hutt faction is free to re-submit it, of course, if they so choose.

Regardless, my Chiss character is currently in the Hutt Cartel, never quit, though I unfortunately see his name was taken off the Enforcer list and I understand with my lack of edits on his profile how it can be misleading. The few months I was gone I believe I missed a roster check. But yes, I joined the Hutts back when Matt and Cassanova were in charge. Tried to establish a Chiss division for them, but it didn't pan out.

EDIT: I have added a small edit to his profile accordingly, I should hope this is acceptable.

So that might make him exempt, since he's really only a part of it because of an OOC technicality.

Even if the Hutt was his only character, don't you think assuming he'd lose the trial is a bit unfair? He's doing his best to keep the members active and actively RPs cartel stuff himself. We can just appreciate his effort and keep this thread strain-free.

Also, I don't think we have to wait till the fourth. Our resident PvP-Addict seems to have sufficient support already.

I have other characters listed in my signature, and am a very active member of the cartel regardless of the numerous attempts to kick me out of it - and the few remaining active Cartel players are aware of that.

I stand by by nomination, and would ask people with questions around what I intend to do with the Cartel, not questions around the authenticity or validity of my nomination (which clearly is not in doubt) to ask them. :)
