Thunder clapped loud in the distance, the rain wetting her hair, causing it to stick to her face. Her clothes might soon be uncomfortably heavy and the puddles around their feet were deep enough that water began to seep into her boots. It showed no signs of relenting and suddenly she wished she had chosen a dryer meeting place, but none had come to her in the moment. Some fresh air might do them both some good, anyway.
"I suppose it wouldn't matter all that much to me who she decided to chase after. I'd just be thankful that I wasn't a young man." Larana grinned again, shaking her head at the thought of the old bat actually returning his sentiments. Oh, what a horrific sight that would have been to anyone watching.
"Unfortunately for you, I think we may have one more trip to the library in our future." She slipped a hand into her pocket and pulled out the journal and datapad she had recovered from the desk, offering them to him. "I didn't want to risk your performance by lingering any longer than was needed, but there appear to be some codes written in the journal. It was in one of the locked drawers of her desk, so they must be important for something. We can always search her datapad too."
