Mission to Cyrillia

"Haha, a clone of me? I didn't realized you think I'm so relaxed and calm all the time," Kai gave a little shrug as he went about his business. As he sat down he was glad to hear that Isabella thought that his suggestion was a good one. With a bit of a smile he nodded, "Good, I'm glad to hear that. Then once we return to the fleet we'll see exactly how well he fights then, yeah?" It made him quite a bit happy to hear and see that she was starting to see things his way and doing her best to try and make it so that she wouldn't worry so much. Reaching over, Kai patted her hands to reassure her, "I'm sure you'll be fine, Bella. I believe in you."

Listening to her question, he chuckled a little once she was finished, "What? Do you not like it when I carry you around? I mean, it's not that big of a deal to me, it's not like you weigh all that much, ya know? But if you want, I can find you some crutches, though I should think the bacta brace can come off by the time we reach Naboo."

Isabella giggled when he asked her about a clone like him. "Well, yeah." was her response. She then listened as he said that once they returned to the fleet, they would ask him to go along with them. "Sounds good enough to me." she said. As Kai reached over and patted her hands, she looked back up to him with a small smile. One thing that she always liked about Kai, was that he was always there for her for pretty much everything,

Hearing his question, she gave a small giggle before answering. "Well, yeah I do, but you wouldn't want to carry me all over the place there if I still have the cast on do you? I mean if you do, I'm not surprised." she giggled again.

Nodding back at Isabella when she told him the plan sounded good to her, he gave a little airy laugh, "I am glad to hear that," as he smiled back at her, leaning in he gave her a soft kiss on the cheek. Of course he would always be there for no matter what, she meant a lot to him, more than she knew perhaps, and he just wanted her to be happy. It was a hard life for most Jedi, and anything Kai could do for those close in his life, his apprentices and his close friends, he would. It was really the least he could do, and Isabella meant something special to him, perhaps she was a bit more special than other apprentices he had in the past. To Isabella there might be a look on his face as he thought of this, and even see the desire for him to explain it to her, but he didn't, he simply kept his mouth shut and a smile on his face.

Shrugging back at Isabella, Kai sighed a little but still gave his young friend a smile. "Well, I don't mind it all that much. I think that it's somewhat nice, actually, I don't get to carry my female friends all that much... they tend to get all embarrassed and want me to put them down." Laughing a little, "If you really don't want me to carry you, though, I'll find a suitable crutch for you to use. I'm sure I have something on this ship." Kicking his feet up so that his were next to Isabella's he leaned against her a little, "Well, we've got some time to kill, so just relax if you want. Take a nap if you're feeling the need. Or just pester me with endless questions and stories. I don't really mind." He reclined his head on the sofa and closed his eyes, waiting to see if Isabella would ask him any questions or try to sleep.

Isabella smiled when he said that he was glad to hear that she liked the plan. When he gave her a kiss on the cheek, she smiled and gave him a small hug. She could tell that he wanted to explain how much he cared for her, but he just kept smiling as she looked at him with her little smirk. The look on his face told her that he was thinking about this. The two probably didn't understand how both of them meant to each other. Kai definitely meant everything to Isabella since the day she met him. She had even made a promise to herself that she would always be loyal to him and never be a traitor to any other factions.

She also gave a tiny sigh when he said what he did. "Well, if you don't mind carrying me, then I don't mind. Honestly, I won't be embarrassed." she said in response to him. When he put his legs up where her's were, he leaned into her, which she accepted and laid her head near him. She giggled when he said that she could pester him with endless questions. She tried to make up her mind on question or stories, but couldn't think of really any except for the time she had defeated the one sith that had broken into her house that she ended up chasing away. "I think I might.. fall.. asleep." She said as she kept thinking, and her eyes got heavier and heavier until her head slowly fell to Kai's shoulder as she fell asleep. Isabella hadn't gotten too much sleep since they started the mission. She generally pretty much never slept during the times they went on missions.

It was odd to the young Jedi Master, he felt so strongly for Isabella, something he rarely felt for anyone for such a long time outside a very small handful of people. He knew there was a strong bond between them, a very strong one, perhaps even a Force Bond, but he wondered if it was simply the bond, or if it was more. Somehow, Kai knew that he could trust Isabella with his life, that she wouldn't betray him.

Nodding back at her when she told him she didn't mind being carried and that she wouldn't be embarrassed, he smiled at her, "Alright, well I'll let you think about it, make sure that's what you actually want to do." He moved so his arm was around her shoulder and pulled her into him a little more. As he waited he could hear her making a comment about having to fall asleep. With a grin he nodded, "I think I will, too, darling, I think I will, too." He muttered quietly. Feeling her head on his shoulder, he peeked an eye open to look at her and smiled, leaning his head against the top of hers he whispered, "I love you, Isabella, my dear." Before he slowly drifted off to sleep with her.

Kai would wake up a few hours later, lifting his head off of Isabella's he'd watch her for a few moments, chuckling at how cute she was when she slept. After a little while, Kai poked her awake, "Isabella, my dear, we need to take your bacta caste off."

When he responded to her saying that he wanted her to think about it, she smiled. He had moved his arm so it was around her and so he could pull her closer to him. She honestly never minded as she fell asleep. She heard his comment of him saying the he thought he would too. Isabella pretty much thought that she had never really been this tired before. She was half dreaming when she felt his head on top of hers and heard him say that he loved her. A smile spread across her face as she had snuggled in and they fell asleep together.

Through her dreaming, she sensed Kai waking up, but she kept her eyes shut, still dreaming about more missions they would do in the future and how much fun they were having and how much more they would have going forward. She was thinking that until she felt that he was being poked. She opened her eyes slowly, stretching as she heard that it was time to take the cast off. "Ok then." she said quietly, waking up from the very much needed nap that they both took.

Smiling at Isabella as she slowly woke up, he chuckled, "You're adorable, my dear." Moving rather slowly as he himself had just woken up, Kai carefully moved the bacta caste from her leg. Looking at the skin of her lower leg, he seemed satisfied. The wound had healed, and besides a little bit of bruising, there didn't seem to be any odd shapes to it. Looking up into her blue eyes he asked, "How does it feel? Does it feel good? If it hurts we'll give you another shot and put the caste back on for a few hours. I don't want to risk anything, but you already knew that!" Kai let out a light chortle as he looked at Isabella waiting for her to answer and tell him how her leg felt. Once he had an idea of where she was he'd either completely remove the caste or go get another injection to help her leg heal. "Just make sure it doesn't feel broken, it might still hurt a bit, or be sore, but so long as it doesn't feel like the bone is out of place that's fine."

After they had gotten her leg sorted out, he sat down next to her again and asked, "So, how was your nap? Have good dreams?"

Isabella turned her bright blue eyes up to Kai as he said that she was adorable. A smile spread across her lips hearing him say that. "Thank you." she said with a little drowsy smile. She watched him as he slowly got up and started removing the cast. Bella eyed her leg scanning it with her eyes and feeling to see if it felt weird. She remembered how torn up the skin on her leg was, and now all that was left of it, was a light scarring with a few bruises. When Kai asked her a question her eyes met with his before she responded. "It seems to feel ok. I mean, it doesn't feel awkward, so I'm guessing it's ok." she said examining her leg again. She smiled hearing his little interesting laugh. "I understand it's gonna hurt for a little while though. Especially with those bruises. But no, it doesnt feel like any bones arent in their places." she responded.

As he would sit down next to her again, he asked her how her nap was. "It was nice.. and very well needed. I was dreaming that we defeated the Empire together and the Jedi brought the galaxy to peace once and for all. And the rebels and jedi ruled the galaxy." she said with a small smirk.
