Tahiri's had been shocked when Edin shot at the kid, but any shock or indignation for the child was gone the very next moment as the shot just phased right through him. That started putting things in context, this wasn't some black and white situation where it was clear what was right and what was wrong, so she was going to have to be more careful before jumping to conclusions.

Realizing that she was conceding that the actions of someone who had just tried to shoot a kid were not inherently abhorrent, maybe the motives were, she finally realized what everyone meant by that joke about only Sith dealing in absolutes. Things were a little more nuanced in real life, specially with holoflicks coming to life before your very eyes.

"Lead on," she said quietly as Indy and Kaos took the lead, falling in step besides Charlotte and beginning to move in as well, "down the rabbit hole we go."

Tahiri follows after Kaos an Indy, in step with Charlotte.

OOC - First Map Available on Discord

With Ezzo Skeck
@R5 9A @John Q
Kaos moved up into the first chamber of the mine but neither @John Q nor @R5 9A decided to join the rest of the group at this stage, instead choosing to stay with Ezzo and the droid still plugged into the console. As Kaos moved through the doors to the mines, they slammed shut behind him and Ezzo felt a pit open up in his stomach. Tapping away urgently at his datapad, he sent a copy of the map to the datapads carried by both Lanowen and Chirzo.

As he was doing this, both R5 and John would be able to tell that the door through to the mine had shut firmly before they could make their way through it. Still plugged into the console, the utility droid turned to regard the assembled organics still in the hanger bay.

"You are the lucky ones, I am told."
the droid informed them, "I would recommend that you leave via your docked vessels."

Ezzo finally had enough of the droid and it's refusal to accept commands from his datapad, moving up to poke at the droid right in the middle of its chasis.

"And I would recommend that you stop giving us attitude and start obeying orders!"
he hissed at the droid, "Why are you even recommending we leave?!"

The droid stared with its deactivated optics in silence for only a few seconds before responding.

"The Mother and Father advised me that you would all die if you ventured further."

Chirzo didn't stop shaking ever so slightly even as she pushed on ahead, making for one of the tunnels that branched off from the main entrance, not the one that the child had disappeared nearest to but one she knew would lead to the same, general, area. @Varyn Atrix asked a question about the history of the planetoid that they were on and she wished that she could tell him that there was some deep, dark, hidden past that she was keeping close to her heart just to seem mysterious.

"It was just a deep space explorer selling the location to us - most companies get their deep space prospects through the same kind of tips. This one did seem insistent that we had struck it lucky but, well, they all kind of act like that."

She swallowed thickly even as she advanced cautiously.

Both @Lebowski and @Vahliri Kahtal asked, in different ways, if she knew anything more about the child. The gunslinger asked in the most generic way possible... and Vahliri hit a nerve that the woman wasn't sure even she knew just how exposed it really was these days.

"... I'm Zoe."
she muttered quietly, answering both questions really, "A childhood nickname that I abandoned rather... violently... when I was first taken in to try out for the Sith."

She was a very pale green as she spoke to the group as a whole even as she wandered to the right.

"I gave my childhood friend scars just like those to prove I could use my anger even against people who didn't make me angry themselves - but he didn't look like that kid. The child I maimed years ago was a Mirialan but... but the scars are perfect matches and in my dreams someone calls me Zoe again at night... I think it might be half from my memories and half... not?"

From ahead, further down the passage she had chosen, came the faint sound of a child's amused giggle.

The tension ratcheted up several notches as @Lebowski seemed intent on riling up @Edin Frost - who was in no mood to take such shrak. Lanowen's datapad pinged in the awkward silence in the immediate aftermath of the threat and he quickly took it out just as an excuse to find himself entirely occupied with literally anything but the interpersonal byplay that might result in violence if no one was careful. He would share the map with anyone who needed it, sending it out as an information ping to any relevant devices in the area.

As Chirzo seemed content to start leading some of the group in one direction, Lanowen saw his opportunity.

"How about we split up?"
he offered, "Chirzo seems to be heading east with some of the group - how about @Lebowski you come with us and @Edin Frost you go with them?"

A blink in three parts followed by a hasty retraction.

"Y-you know, if you wanna!"

Without waiting for an answer, Lanowen would start up toward one of the smaller tunnels heading north, gesturing for the group of @Indy Sati @Charlotte Le'Anna and @Tahiri to follow him as he held up his datapad as a guidance system. The tunnel he was approaching was tight around the sides and the lights above flickered from where they were embedded into sturdy-looking stone.

"Careful of the ceiling - this was where it fell before, see?"

He gestured to one of the durasteel ceiling plates that appeared to have been recently welded into position while the others were secured through specific screws and alike. As he was speaking, a chill would come over the area but one oddly only perceptible to those who could sense the Force. For the non-Force Sensitives, they would notice the Sith and Jedi reacting but wouldn't outright notice anything themselves. Instead they began to hear sounds up ahead, sounds of liquids bubbling and a smell unlike anything any of them had ever experienced before - at once both too sweet and cloyingly acrid.

  • Banvhar Combine - The Company sponsoring the prospecting mission and a mining corporation well-known throughout the Galaxy. They are not the largest but they are successful.
  • Location - The planetoid is currently listed as Object N51920. It is without a sector of the Outer Rim largely unknown to the Galaxy and can be reached only through the assistance of Banvhar Combine due to the only safe routes through hyperspace to Object N51920 being charted by their Prospecting teams.
  • Prospecting Team - Lanowen the Gran Surveyor, Ezzo Skeck the Rodian droid technician and Chirzo the Mirialan Force 'Expert'.
  • The Call for Help - While investigating the planetoid and beginning probing mining operations, Chirzo reported back to Banvhar Combine that there is a strong presence in the Force that seemed wild and unpredictable. The reports grew more urgent as the team dug deeper until the team has refused to dig further until the company hires actual Jedi/Sith to investigate further. Chirzo believes that the presence she is feeling is incredibly powerful but also unstable.

John ran to the closing door as it shut, locking him in the room. He banged on the door till his fist was red and sore, and then he banged some more. Cursing, he whirled around and strolled back to Ezzo at a most leisurely pace. It nearly seemed he would walk through the man, but then he halted. The Sith, John Q, took a deep breath and just stood there before Ezzo, datapad nerd. He then took the rock he had pricked his thumb on out of his pocket. He flipped it in the air. Caught it. Flipped it. Caught it. Flipped it again... the rock crashed to the floor and clattered to the foot of Ezzo.

"Whoops! The gravity on these low-mass asteroids always messes with my blood." He shrugged and smiled. "Guess you're locked in here with me." He took his bleeding thumb out of his pocket and sucked it dry. "If only, shhluuurp, there was a way to open that door."

“I sure would prefer if he came with us.” (@Sreeya) Charlotte glanced over at Edin. “If only to keep you in line.” She did not trust Lanowen. Actually, she trusted no one. She slipped the Gun of Command into its holster. Her grip on the saber hilt tightening. Taking a deep breath, she sunk farther into the Force. She would not be caught unaware. Charlotte kept her head on a swivel as they began to walk. Her senses splayed wide in the Force. She titled her head over so slightly to see where the cave in had been. That was when the chill hit.

The Queen Mother failed to stop the shudder. A chill deep in her bones. This place was all kinds of wrong. The smell hit her next. A horrible smell burning her nostrils. She stopped. Her eyes daggers. “Lanowen. What the fuck is that smell?” They weren’t so far down the cave that the miner couldn’t have known.

She begins to follow Lanowen and questions the smell

R5-9A had been around the block enough times to know when to play it cool. Sure, torture, mayhem, and mutilation were all fine, fine tools for acquiring information but they were blunt tools and R5 was a doctor first and foremost. Blunt tools had their place (and the astromech certainly had enough of them at his disposal) but they were a last resort, especially when cunning and negotiations could accomplish the same thing without the mess.

"My brother, who and where are the Mother and Father? These organics will probably not understand but what you are saying sounds important and your cause seems just. I'd like to join it." R5 said in Droidspeak to the blind utility droid.

Zoe? he asked of Vahliri, wondering how she had come up with the name, having not heard the exchange that she had by probing deeper. But as he listened to the story that the Chorizo told about what she had done when she was younger, he shuddered slightly.

So half came from you... I wonder if the other half - the actual kid - came from someone else's memories, he said. And if so, then who?

He gripped his lightsaber more tightly as he heard the sound of the child giggling up ahead, stiffening but pressing on in the direction of the laughing. He had a feeling the only way to find out what they were into was to press onward.

Lebowski instinctively put his hands up when he turned to right into a blaster pointed in his face. However, he folded his arms after Edin called him a nanny, offering for the Enforcer to go in first. As terrifying as ghost children were, he'd do just about anything to put this guy in his place, but Kaos took the lead before he could. Then, Lanowen offered to split the group up... which didn't seem smart at all. Everyone else was already making their way down the mines, though, so Dash had to make it quick.

"I don't know much about ghosts, but I haven't shot 'em yet, so I'm probably in the clear." Lebowski shrugged, but after hearing 'Zoe' talk about her creepy little backstory's connection to the creepy little kid, he decided that maybe his group wouldn't be all that bad. The ghost could have his original target and the guy that tried to kill him a second time.

"To be continued!" Lebowski would give Edin the finger as he left with the other group with Kaos. Then, there was some super nasty smell that flared Dash's nostrils up like the insides of his nose had hives. His helmet had a filter, yet, the smell still managed to seep through and irritate him. Hopefully it wasn't some allergic reaction. That would suck.

"Bro, that smell is gonna kill someone before any ghost does..."

Dash flips Edin off before running to catch up with Kaos. He doesn't like the idea of splitting up, but he wants to find the ghost.

Yeah, because splitting up the party was always a good idea.

She couldn't help but think of the Temple on Dathomir, with Roland, Max, and a few others, including the Sith. The Entity, and how the party split up originally. Because that was clearly so smart. Still, it seemed a majority group was going with Lanowen.

Perhaps Lanowen and Chorizo also had their own comms to keep in contact, but still. If they split up further, it couldn't hurt to keep themselves in communication. Still, she would follow Lanowen, as the Sith identified as a Champion would go as well. Perhaps the one who pulled a blaster would be going with them as well? Or perhaps... she caught the gesture the panicking Lebowski pulled, and barely stifled the urge to roll her eyes.

Honestly, if @Edin Frost shot him, she wouldn't be surprised, nor blame him. If she weren't trained against such irritations, she might have as well.

She also began sinking further in the Force, and keeping a wary eye about their surroundings. When the chill came, she visibly recoiled, gritting her teeth beneath the mask. Gripping her blade hilt tightly, she also kept a spare hand free, and scrunched her nose at the scent. Seemed like the others were just as repulsed as she.

In fact, she did mind the ceiling. The fact that it seemed welded in place didn't comfort her at all. Like Charlotte, she would prepare as much as possible, in case shenanigans would start up she would be prepared.

This is sus, like the temple of Dathomir. She is alert as well, and keeps a wary eye on the ceiling. Reacts to smell and chill.

Tahiri did not care about the whatever was going on between Edin and Lebowski, though it seemed like the dude had a death wish as she gave the other guy the finger and walked off. She followed after Charlotte, and was hit by both the smells and the chill in the Force.

Looking up at the replaced beam, Tahiri thought back to the explanation the ex-acolyte had given earlier and chimed in with a question of her own.

"Chirzo mentioned all of you having similar dreams, and the beam falling was similar to those dreams. What else happened in the dreams? Any other recurring incidents?"

Tahiri asks about the dreams Chirzo had mentioned earlier.

Deciding to not concern himself about what the others were doing, Kaos just shook his head as he noticed Lebowski giving Edin the finger, not caring if they shot each other after that. The Miralukan had said his piece, he wasn't here to be anyone's babysitter. Walking alongside the rest of the group, he felt the same thing the others had, deciding to let them do the talking and asking while he kept alert and made sure no foul force shenanigans took them by surprise.

Walkin' and staying sharp.

Vahliri crossed her arms over her chest, listening for a few moments while Chirzo spoke. The half-Annfyn couldn’t shake the feeling there was more that the Mirialan wasn’t revealing, but she didn’t press the issue quite yet. “Whatever it truly is, I reached into the child’s mind when he appeared. And one of the only things I was able to discern was that name. Zoe. And the fact that you had - apparently - hurt them.” Her eyes narrowed ever-so-slightly.

“Perhaps the Entity is drawing upon your memories and distorting them. Or perhaps you are misremembering all who you once harmed.” Regardless of the answer, Vahliri began to drift in the direction the Mirialan was going. He glanced back over her shoulder and towards Edin, jutting her chin for the Firrerreo to follow with her group. If they weren’t able to use Lebowski as a meatshield, might as well stick with the more competent members of the group.

There was a faint twitch of her fluted ears as the half-Annfyn picked up on some of the nearby conversation, her gaze flicking right back to Chorizo. “It cried out to a Mother and Father,” She tilted her head a bit. “Have they haunted your dreams as well?”

As the groups began to diverge Vahliri freed the saber hilt from her belt - keeping the blade unignited in her hand.

Edin didn’t even look at the idiot that flipped him off, eyeing Lanowen. He was even more surprised when the Sith girl suggested he go with them. His gaze flicked from the dumbass thug he almost shot, over to the Jedi with a death wish and then over to the Sith that asked him to come with, “Sorry, lady, I think I’ll take my chances with Tauron and his goth girlfriend,” He pointed a thumb back at the two Sith, always happy to make a nerdy Lord of the Pendants reference.

With that, he followed behind the Sith and regretted his decision almost immediately. Chorizo sounded like a budding serial killer and Goth Girlfriend sounded like a spooky clairvoyant. This was going from bad to worse. Oh well, he’d stay behind the others and hopefully clear from trouble.

The Firrerreo kept his blaster out, though he knew it was largely worthless here. Even so, he felt a measure of comfort being with the Sith that could at least interact somehow with the kid. Speaking of which, he grimaced at the sudden giggle he heard. He squinted to look, his Firrerreo eyes adjusting to darkness and picking up any heat. Of course, he couldn’t see any just yet.

“You think we could make like the movies and use Psycho Suzi here as a ghost conduit? Is that a thing?” He whispered quietly near Dark Lord Tauron’s ear so only he could hear, his gaze fixed on Chorizo.

OOC - First Map Available on Discord

With Ezzo Skeck
@R5 9A @John Q
Ezzo just stared at the approaching Sith, casually banging his hand against durasteel until it was red raw before acting like nothing had happened. As the manic Sith made a show of tossing the stone up and down, Ezzo reacted in the only way that he seemed to think was sane.

There was a maniac Sith trying to intimidate him, his droid seemed to be telling him to leave and the Sith droid seemed intent on joining some kind of mechanical cult. Instead of putting up with this, Ezzo did the only reasonable thing in his mind and just dropped his datapad to the ground.

"That's it! No amount of credits is worth working through these conditions!"
he muttered angrily as he pulled out the keys to the mining survey team's ship, "I'm following the advice of the creepy service droid - I'm leaving. Better to live long enough to need a retirement fund than to keep risking my life with this... this... bantha fodder asteroid!"

Throwing his hands up in the air in defeat, Ezzo started marching over to the small survey vessel, fully intending on just leaving now that the option had been presented to him. The service droid, however, seemed to regard both @R5 9A & @John Q with no small amount of scepticism for a droid without an expressive faceplate.

"Be advised that there is no movement to join. If you are looking for a movement to join, I would recommend the movement Surveyor Ezzo is making; the movement away."

As it was doing this, the droid began the system process to access the hanger bay ray shields to allow Ezzo to actually leave via his ship. It did seem to linger its gaze on John, even as it began to lock down the process to unlock the door.

"I'm afraid I cannot allow you to go further - my orders are to keep you from harm. Harm will befall you if you continue to try and advance."

The idea that half of the 'ghost' they were following came from some of the deeper recesses of Chirzo's mind was, of course, of no comfort to anyone in the group as they split off from Lanowen's larger group. Those with the Force knew better than to think little of threats that could pluck information from the minds - and Edin had seemingly seen enough horror movies (read: one) to see that all of this was going to end up a bad place.

"Take this the right way Champion... but I hope we don't find out what made the other half... I hurt half of it in the past, I don't think its chosen to remind me of that by accident."

She didn't scare easily but as they stepped out into another, wider, area of the dig site she couldn't help it. Stacks upon stacks of supply boxes towered over them in precarious ways, like a demented game of jenga had been played with their equipment. High above them, a stack of reinforced boxes teetered slightly with a hover-sled balancing above them on the edge of a crate.

"... I don't think I like the looks of this game. Stick close to the walls."
she advised those following her as a breeze seemed to come from nowhere and leave the balancing supplies creaking, "This is the first time I've heard mention of a Mother and Father but something about the way the ghost mentioned them - makes me think they're titles rather than actual relatives. Are there any active Dark Sider cults that use the titles?"

As the team made their way deeper into the cavern, they heard the sound of giggling again but this time it was accompanied by the child. Appearing in the distance, so fast that one blink he wasn't there and the next he was, the child seemed to have given up pretending to be physically present as he could be seen sat on nothing but air, hovering over a wide pit. From below, the pit seemed to glow a bright mixture of yellow and orange.

"Mommy and Daddy say we can't play - they say I've got to use my toys to make you go home... don't break my toys!"

The child seemed to take great delight in clapping his hands together.

For a second, nothing happened.

Then, within the pit, a bubble of molten metal burst and something else was visible for the first time but not the last. Wading through the molten metal as though it was nothing but water, a trio of taller figures emerged. Dragging large rebars behind them, a trio of animated bodies, coated in gold and copper, hauled themselves 'ashore'.

"If they Tag you, you lose~!"

With Lanowen
@Indy Sati @Charlotte Le'Anna @Tahiri @Lebowski @Kaos Tyr

For once in his life, Lanowen muttered a quick prayer to himself and genuinely hoped that there was some being up there listening and paying attention to him. Typically he didn't believe but he was beginning to think he was going to need all the help he could get just to survive the group who were supposed to be here to help him and his co-workers.

Although the Gran couldn't actually feel the chill that seemed to come from all around them, he could notice how the Sith seemed to react as if they'd suddenly been transferred to Ando Prime in their swimwear. The Gran stepped out into the chamber at the end of the tunnel and turned back to face the group to answer their questions.

"Look dreams are just our heads messing with us - I've not dreamt of anything like this."
he declared with a small scowl, "As for the smell I'm not sure. Kind of smells lik-"

~~Squelch!~~

~~Crunch!~~

Whatever he was going to say was cut off by the sickening sounds of his body being rapidly compressed by the sudden arrival of the creature that had landed right atop of him. Rising from its landing, the creature stood near nine feet tall, half covered by bone and membrane that was dripping in off-yellow slime that seemed to cling to it like as a disgusting film.

The creature clicked its teeth together menacingly as it began to growl, deep and low in its chest, taking a blood-covered step forward toward them.

Defender.jpg

Both Groups

Unknown to both groups, they were sharing space when they did not realize it.

Despite their physical proximity and how they should, by all rights, be able to see each other across the chamber? They were alone to face their problems. Through the act of splitting up, the minds within the mines were able to split their attention and focus on each group.

The Mother aided their Child as the Father brought forth further protections.

A happy family, those minds within the mines.

Varyn couldn't argue with Chorizo's comment. He didn't want to find out what was going on in her mind, and he was sure that this "thing" would have plenty to dig through his mind if it went that way. That wasn't something he was looking forward to.

Varyn might have hearkened in thought back to the Father, Son, and Daughter spoken about in some mythoses of the Jedi and Nightsisters, but frankly, Varyn wasn't that well read on the topic, so unfortunately, it didn't come to mind when Chirzo asked about similar titles in cults.

Care to share what you saw with the rest of the group? he asked Vahliri (@Altaris), as he hadn't heard any of the strange interaction that she had experienced when she reached into the child's presence.

At Edin's suggestion that they use Chorizo to channel the energy, Varyn shrugged. Maybe, he said, again finding himself relatively out of his element with this particular topic. Seems like it might be an option if... he said but didn't finish his sentence as they entered the next room and it was... just horrible.

Varyn didn't waste much time, the saber bursting to life in his hand as he darted forward and to his left, hopefully clearing the fall area should the jenga tower collapse. At the same time, he reached out to the Force, letting a gust cryokinetic energy launch toward the molten creatures. The goal was to cool the molten metal of their skin enough that it would harden and trap the creatures in place.

Why did the Sith guy seem just as clueless as him? Damn, they were so fucked. Edin exhaled and gazed ahead. By now, the creepy little kid showed up again. He didn’t miss the precariously stacked boxes and figured they had some kind of purpose. Before he could speculate, there was commotion ahead as a pit opened up and creatures made of various metals began to emerge. Because of course.

As Sith boyfriend sprang to action, Edin gazed past him towards the spooky kid. The Firrerreo decided to attempt something, “Hey kid!” He called out to the ghost, “You gotta tell us how we can score points against your toys or win. Not a fair or fun game if we don’t know all the rules,” Edin rationalized. If the ghost was actually child-like, he would absolutely blurt out the rules of a game. He could at least hope for a clue.

Edin glanced over to Sith goth girlfriend, “Put Chorizo to work,” He said as he jutted his chin towards the woman that was seemingly standing around. He didn’t trust anyone, but he especially didn’t trust her.

The Firrerreo focused on the boxes, carefully aiming and shooting at the very top reinforced box. With the trajectory, the objective was to knock it and the hoversled atop it down to land on the ground. His aim would hopefully keep the entire pile from toppling down on them.

Indy didn't have enough time to react to the Gran, so focused was she on eyeing that part of the ceiling where it had been reinforced. Still, at the appearance of the being before them, she gritted her jaw and made sure to react swiftly.

The moment the creature moved as though to take a step closer, she reacted.

Lashing out in the Force, she wrapped the creature in Force Stasis, intent to keep the creature locked where it was, backing up towards the tunnel they just exited from. The Fallen Blade also hissed to life in her hand, in case she had to suddenly defend herself. "Back up," she rasped to @Tahiri, who seemed too close to her liking, and possibly the Sith who called herself Larva... or was it Lava? Lavra? She didn't honestly care what @Charlotte Le'Anna's name was, she could get closer if she wanted to, but Indy learned her lesson from... things... like that in the past. Not wise to just charge ahead.

She would hold it down in place to make it all the more difficult for the thing to assault the closer members of the party while making it an easier target for those that would want to take a shot at it.

@Wit @Nefieslab @Versok @Valen Pelora @Charles

Indy freezes the creature before them in place with Force Stasis, telling Tahiri and maybe Charlotte to back up from the creature. She will hold it in place to distract it further and make it easier to target those who would want to assault it. Her blade is activated just in case.

It was a cliché…but Charlotte did not like the feeling of any of this. It turned out she was right Lanowen became a gory decoration before her eyes. A creature that could only have stepped from nightmare’s suddenly stared at her little group. Splitting up…great idea. At least one of their number was smart. Charlotte acted without a second thought. When you saw a thing that needed killing. You killed it. Her saber snapped to life in her right hand.

The left reaching out with the Force. Straining she wrapped the Force around the things head…pressing…trying to bust the armor and crack the skull. “Watch our backs.” She called out to their fellow investigators. She was focused on the thing before them but not ignoring her surroundings. Charlotte was a Sith. A killer. She’d murdered her own farther in cold blood, squeezing his heart till it popped. It would take more to scare her.

Charlotte ignites her lightsaber and tried to crush the creature's skull as Indy hold it in place.

As they progressed down the mines, Vahliri didn’t lower her guard - amber eyes snapping across her surroundings cautiously. It was moments like this that the half-Annfyn was exceptionally grateful for her sensitive hearing, and it meant she was able to pick up on any signs of movement in the naturally echo-y tunnel. Chorizo, of course, knew next to nothing - and the half-Annfyn couldn’t help but wonder what exactly the Mirialan was good for at this point in the operation.

“Crying,” Vahliri responded to Varyn without looking, her fingers curling around the hilt of her lightsaber. “The child, begging for the pain to stop. Begging for ‘Mother and Father’ to help, and questioning why Zoe would hurt him.” She finally glanced towards the Mirialan in question, considering the question about Dark Side cults. “None that I am aware of.”

“I’d wager ‘Mother and Father’ are more likely connected to the.. Presence, within the mines.”
Any hypotheticals were promptly cut short as they stepped into the new chamber - and Vahliri couldn’t help but immediately scowl. Of course the child was back, and it brought creepy-ass friends with him. “For fuck sake.” She growled.

Without another word, the curved saber in Vahliri’s hand sprang to life - casting sanguine light across the dimly lit cave. Her attention shifted back to Edin when the Firrerreo spoke, and couldn’t help the way it lingered. Her gaze traveled the angular line of his jaw, and followed the pattern of tattoos that slipped beneath his armor - inviting her imagination to what might lie underneath. She had no qualms about openly checking out the Firrerreo, least of all as he took aim with his rifle.

She afforded herself only a moment before springing into action. The half-Annfyn darted forth and to the left - attempting to put distance between herself and Varyn, splitting the creature’s attention in two different directions. While her Lightsaber held in a defensive guard, Vahliri reached forth with the Force - channeling Cyrokinesis around the creatures. Doubling down on what Varyn was doing, Vahliri attempted to not only trap their enemies in place - but to hopefully turn their metallic shell’s brittle from the rapid temperature change. “Hit them while they are slowed!” Vahliri barked back at Chorizo. The Mirialan was gifted in the Force, and the half-Annfyn didn’t particular trust her enough to ignore during the fight.

Vahliri doubled down on what Varyn is doing, attempting to use Cyrokinesis to slow down/make the monster's brittle. She additionally tells Chorizo to do shit."

"That's one way to crash a party." Was all Dash could muster after witnessing Lanowen's demise, being crushed by some insectoid looking monster. Everyone could glare at him all they wanted- this shit was absolutely terrifying and making jokes to break his own tension would be the closest thing to a comfort object he could get.

As the two Forcies began to hold the beast back, Lebowski drew both of his blaster pistols and pulled both triggers twice, sending four blaster bolts aiming for the monster's head. Then, as the second lady asked for the others to watch their backs, Lebowski really had a hard time turning his back to such a creepy beast, but he'd have to trust these guys. So, now he kept his blasters up and at the ready, awaiting for some sort of ambush (if there was any) or literally anything else that needed a solid hole the head.

Dash tries to shoot the bug in the head four times, and then covers the ladies' backs to stay aware of any other unwanted monsters.

"When the force is involved, even something as simple as dreams can have a greater meaning" Kaos bluntly stated as the Gran talked, shaking his head in response to such a ignorant statement. They all knew that the force was a thing, they all knew that it was pretty much strange magic, did they really believe giving meaning to dreams was that unreasonable? No wonder they had to ask help to a bunch of random sith and jedi for this job.

The man's life seemed to be cut short by a strange creature crushing him alive. With no hesitation, the Miralukan decided to be the one to approach the creature, confident in his abilities to survive in close quarters even if for a while. shortly after blaster shots went over his head and reached the creature, Kaos would be within punching distance, going for the same face that was taking the other punishment as he threw a hit as strong as someone would expect from a Matukai warrior armed with their gloves, a hit that would've pulverized any normal sentient's head. Kaos would then try to quickly get back into position and start to circle around the creature, trying to stay out of the way of other attackers while being vigilant of anything coming his way.

Kaos sees the big scary demon creature and thinks "imma punch it", then proceeds to do so.
