Making a break for it

[Cheshire]

Josis briefly watched as Mackenzie went under the water before he returned to his relaxation. Is this what its like to meditate? as he lay on the beach, letting the warm sand heat his back, while sun heated his chest. "Ahhhh. This is wonderful" he said to himself as he shut his eyes.

About twenty minutes later, she still had been underwater. She had found two oyster like shells that looked really nasty. "Those are sure to have pearls in them." she said in her head. So she grabbed than and decided to start heading back to the surface. When she got to the surface, she couldn't see the shore at all. She looked really hard and used the force to sense where she needed to go and the force told her forward. So she went underwater since it was easier and swam forward coming back to the shore five minutes later with her oysters.

Josis was relaxing on the beach while Mackenzie swam away, but he did try to use the force to sense her presence. After a while, he started to panic slightly after the long absence of Mackenzie, until he felt her presence resurfacing at the shore. "Welcome back. What did you get?" He said, raising himself up on his elbows to get to a sitting position

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

"Hey, I got some shells. Oyster shells. They have pearls." She chucked one to him s she sat down beside him opening up her own revealing an 8 millimeter blue silver pearl. "Whoa. What did you get?"

 

[Cheshire]

"Oh me? I didn't get anything, I just wanted to train myself. Ohh that's a nice pearl!" Josis exclaimed as he saw the small silver ball. "I'll have five minutes here before I go back inside."

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

Kenzie giggled slightly. "No silly, open the oyster I gave you, there should be a pearl. The ones here have been scientifically guaranteed to have earls inside." She then smiled looking between him and his oyster.

 

[Cheshire]

"Ahhh silly me!" He laughed as he began to open the oyster. It slowly cracked as it revealed a small, pink pearl that glinted in the sunlight. "Ah I got a pink pearl!"

Mackenzie giggled as she watched in amusement as he pried open the oyster revealing a shiny pink pearl. "Oh wow. It's gorgeous!" She exclaimed. She had seen one like their own, and which they were one that were quite rare for the planet to have.

 

[Cheshire]

"Here you keep it" as he passed the pearl to Mackenzie

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

Mackenzie looked surprised as he handed his gift to her. "Really? I thought maybe it would be a friendship thing... although I may have an idea for it." She said her surprise turning into a small smirk.

 

[Cheshire]

Josis handed the pearl over to her , smiling. "It's fine, You can have it. You seemed to like it and I have no use for it."

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

Mackenzie took the pearl and looked at it a little closer. "Hmm.. I have a good idea for these." she said looking out of the corner of her eye.

 

[Cheshire]

"Now you've peaked my interests. So what use do you have for it?" Josis said, genuinely interested in what Mackenzie was going to do with it

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

Mackenzie gave a small smirk before responding. "I'm going to make them very useful. I can use the force to make them for good luck and then I can add a hook onto it so it can be placed on a string to be put around your neck or a belt loop or something."

 

[Cheshire]

"Hmm a necklace, I like the idea of that! One problem though, I hate loose necklaces, they annoy me when I'm fighting"

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

Mackenzie let out a giggle. "I can make it smaller so it's not so loose."

 

[Cheshire]

"Thank you. We better get back in, its getting dark." As he watched as the sun set. "Its beautiful"

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

"Your welcome. And I agree. It is rather getting dark fairly quick." She said as she looked back towards the sun one last time for the night. "It is, isn't it?"

 

[Cheshire]

As the sun finally set, sending Kothlis into darkness, Josis stood up and offered Mackenzie a hand up.

Mackenzie smiled and gladly took his hand, squeezing it a little bit as she pulled herself up. She stuck the pearls in a secure pocket and then they headed back to the Temple.
