Freyr would've helped overthrow Van Tien: his fleet got cut in half without notification en route to Bessimir.
I haven't seen the church do anything but sit there on Xenvaer.Gj Mulluns. Anyway, you you guys dont sem to get, is that Van Tien is not only the leader of a planet, he is the leader of a religion. Even with him making some military mistakes, a planet as religious as that would most likely still favor him over people not involved with the church. Dont believe me, then look at rl. Also, it may not seem like it but assassinating someone has a negative effect unless they are a completely hated person. Even then, it is negatively connotated. They wouldnt have to be 100% loyal to Van Tien, anyone who felt a sense of honor, or morality is on his side now, along with the church.
I feel that Cailsts power should have been toned done, but in a more intelligent way.

Like Vincent said in the other thread, this should - realistically - erupt into civil war. I would imagine there would be a faction supporting Van Tien, a faction supporting Venator and Dakar, and a faction who would want to simply reimpose a Vicar, etc.
In the eyes of the common people, Van Tien has done nothing wrong, just a few tactical errors, especially due to propaganda and media bias. Of course, most of the military knows better, but they are still divided.
An interesting turn of events, nonetheless.
You all assume too much. Let things happen as they will. Then, after the events unfold you will calculate the damage.
EDIT: so STFU.

I think you mean revolution, Mulluns.
Are you talking about Cailst overall? 'Cause I'm talking about the current thread.Uh the damage is done, he ****ed up royally and had to OOC his way out of it or the story would have crashed.

This current thread is about the military coup currently happening in the Story, dude...:CAbove:
The current thread is about the over all state of the alsakans. Why would there be damage done to the RP in an ooc thread?
About time?
