lando and tahoma kast (jedi training)

tahoma saw the attack coming but did not have the speed to react to koutas strike. so instead of being hit in the throat tahoma lowers his head and uses his head as a sheald. he flew thrue the air and landed on the ground. he had a migraine after wards but such is by far better then a strike to the throat. lando got up immediately after he landed. like a rubber ball lando always seems to bounce back. he jumped high into the air using the sun to his advantage by using its bright light to cloud his incoming strike. tahoma got back up and charged at kouta and then attempted a power house kick aimed at koutas chest

 

[Kouta]

Kouta admired the tactic, yet he was prepared. Kouta braced himself for the kick, using a light force push against Tahoma to soften the blow. When the impact connected to Kouta, he grabbed Tahoma's leg, sweeping his other and, using the force to augment his strength, threw Tahoma towards the sun, in turn, throwing him at Lando. If Lando was to dodge, he would have to move out of the sun's glare. If he were to dodge, Kouta would be able to see Lando's attack, dodge it at the very last moment, and throwing a punch at the precise angle with enough strength behind it to force Lando into the ground.

lando had a choice to make. he could just let his brother run into him. or kick his brother and change each of there trajectory. lando wanted to keep his strategy and attack kouta but he just could not do it to his brother. he made the noble decision and forfeited his advantage. his brother tahoma hit lando directly. like a missile they both instantly took off towards the ground. tahoma got off of lando and istantly new what had happened. his brother took the blow for him and as a result is unconscious. "fool... you know how i hate owing favors" he said as he diverted his eyes. he then stood up and immediate continued there training excersise.
he ran towards kouta and used telekinesis to throw a boulder at kouta. he then all so threw 20 of punches at kouta.

 

[Kouta]

"Your attacks have little thought Tahoma, frontal assaults are more likely to get you killed." Kouta exclaimed, "they also take too long to execute, the winner is determined by their speed" Kouta dashed towards the bolder, focusing a very large deal of force into his fist, shattering the boulder. Evading and deflecting the attacks, "good, faster now!" Kouta quickly span around Tahoma, swinging an elbow at the back of his neck.

tahoma narrowly dodged koutas elbow strike. tahoma then did a circular sweep kick to turn to koutas direction and then punched at kouta 5 times using them as a dstraction to attempt a knock out attack aimed at koutas neck/shoulder area and then went for a upercut to the chin

 

[Kouta]

Kouta Kicked low at Tahoma, blocking his kick. Kouta continued to deflect the blows aimed at him. Before Tahoma's final strike could be initiated, Kouta dashed forward, Catching Tahoma by the neck, sweeping the back of his legs, forcing Tahoma to the ground. "Good, good, you're progressing quickly, the both of you. I have decided you have past my little test, your real training begins now." Kouta stood, looking at the unconcious Lando. Kouta picked him up using the force, dropping him in the shallow end of the pond. "He'll be up soon."
OOC: gonna time skip a bit.

IC: and Kouta kept true to his word, for the next three months, Kouta was the harshest man the brothers ever met, he beat them, worked them to the bone, pushed them far past their limits. Kouta made sure that his students we're ready for anything that could be thrown at them. The brother's withstood it all though, and Kouta Couldn't be more proud.

They were back at the campsite, Kouta looking over his students, "It has been some time since we're here no?" Kouta asked, "I have placed both of you through hell, and you withstood. I never spoke of this, but you both have made me proud, and I believe it is time to rid yourself of those stock sabers, anc construct one of your own." Kouta seemed happy, "There is a cave not far from here, with walls lined with very special crystals. One of which called to me, giving me these blades," Kouta lit one of his sabers, it shone with a light cyan, but the core seemed to be spinning. "I want you to try and find one that calls to you like it did me." Kouta dig in his pack, pilling out half a vibrosword, it's blade long since shattered. "However, ther is a grave danger in the cave, one that did this to both of my old blades. A monsterous beast that nearly killed me when I was a padawan. Even now, I don't believe I can kill it alone. So your final test is this, the three of us will kill this creature so you may earn the right to build your own custom saber." Kouta explained, if you are up for it." Kouta seemed excited.

OOC: basically both of the brothers learned a weaker version of all of Kouta's force powers, except the electric Judgement.

ooc: awesome are lightsaber test. i cant wait to build it :p

ic: lando and tahoma worked hard. for months they trained rigorously. they did evrything they were told and more so. they were taught more and more to work together and rely on eachother rather then themselves. they were proud of each other and very happy with kouta for helping them form a stronger bond as brothers. when kouta told them that it was finally time to earn there lightsabers tahoma and lando were excited. they gave each other a high five. "good job bro" "congrats tahoma" but then kouta had told them there test.
"yes master kouta i am ready to help slay this beast" tahoma said with respect.
"you can count on me kouta" lando said with a devilish grin.
he is now going to see first hand what his training has accomplished. besides that fighting a evil creature of the dark side will be much better then letting there master kouta beat them in a unfair duel lol. "so whats next"

 

[Kouta]

Don't take this lightly," Kouta scolded the both of them, "this beast's fast, it could kill you in a moment's notice. And you're hearing this from me!" Kouta pointed to himself. "If you want to pass this test, let alone survive, we'll have to work together. Kouta grinned, having faith in the newfound power of his students. "Also, you will see me at full strength, for the first time," Kouta started to walk to the caves, it would be some time before they reached their destination. "You two must work together at all times, just like the way you were trained, I will be able to stand alone, for some time, though I will need my back up, can I trust the two of you with my life?" Kouta asked seriously. In all honesty, from what he could remember, Kouta would rather face. A pack or rancor's than this beast, at least they were slow and cumbersome.

"we will no let you down" "what makes you think im not up for it? of course you can count on me kouta" the two of them begin to follow kouta with there vibroblades in hand. lando all so carrying 3 canteens full of watter.

 

[Kouta]

As they neared the cave, Kouta could feel the dark beast within, "Here, I've slightly altered your sabers to run at full power, careful though, use it to many times they may go out." Kouta handed each of them a single training saber. "Feel no fear." Kouta flared up his force power to bait out the beast. Large thumps we're heard as this monster Charged out. The beast, with it's enormous razor-like claw, swiped the three of them. "MOVE!" Kouta yelled, flipping over the beast, unleashing an inferno of fire consuming the monster. When the flame cleared, the beast stood, unharmed.

Lando and Tahoma excepted the sabers. they were happy to have a saber rather then a vibro blade. when the beast charged and Kouta yelled for them to move Lando jumped to the right and tahoma jumped to the left each narrowly escaping the beasts grasp. this thing was a monstrosity of the dark side. both the young padawans can feel the evil from this creature. and were amazed that it was unharmed by koutas flame. Lando got up and turned on his saber. he then jumps in the air over the creatures head and strike it as he passes it. tahoma turns on his saber and uses the force to throw it at the creatures face hitting it in the nose

ooc:this is a npc so i am assuming auto hits are exceptable. let me know if i am wrong

 

[Kouta]

The beast was hardly phased by the attacks, affected less by the force throw than the saber. Swinging it's massive claw around, it backhanded Lando, knocking him backwards, meters in the air. It roared at Tahoma, with a voice as shattering as it's claws.

"I told both of you to be on guard" Kouta yelled after catching Lando, "I can bail the both of you out, if you get caught, i can't keep you alive!" Kouta jumped to the side as the creature swiped at him. Kouta jumped away from the creature, gathering energy with his steady breathing, "Alright big guy..." Kouta lit all four blades, Crouching very low to the floor, He dashed forward aided by a massive speed boost, far faster than either of the brother's have seen Kouta move, HE slashed at the beast, passing it before it had a chance to attack back, before bolting back, slashing it again, Kouta a whirlwind of blades, he continues this assault a multitude of times, before he was forced to stop, Fatigue hitting him in his enhanced state. Kouta stopped, reverting back to two blades, breathing deep to regain some of his energy, his legs we're strained, however.

Bleeding, The creature roared in pain and anger, pieces of it's natural armor falling off, "Go! It's vulnerable!" Kouta called.

OOC: sorry for the delay mate, been busy with school.

ooc:no prob i am very patient :p

it all happened so fast that Lando hardly noticed Kouta catching him. and Tahoma backed away slowly as the beast roared ferociously. when Lando got back on his feet both him and Tahoma watched in awe as kouta struck the creature again and again so quickly. they both then began to concentrate and use force valor. when Kouta said. "go! its vulnerable" Tahoma ran up in front of the creature with force speed and distracted it striking the beast at its legs. then Lando took a running force jump and with a down ward strike stabbed the creature right wear his armored flesh fell off. luckily enough this was the creatures Hart! (or at least one of his harts) then Tahoma force jumped into the air and struck the beast with a stab straight threw the eye!

 

[Kouta]

OOC: ok, The killshots or attempted kill shots on major npc's are to be treated as fighting a PC, small attacks can auto hit, but major ones must be attempted and left to the other to decide whether it kills or not.

IC: The blade stuck true through the opening of this monster's armor, however, due to it's thick hide the blade hadn't quite reached the heart. However, it did cause enough pain to allow the beast to lower it's guard enough for the saber projectile to strike the beast through it's left eye. It stopped in it's tracks, the energy of the blade, pierced through the eye, through the thin section of it's scull, and almost completely vaporised it's brain, the small field that held the saber blade together breaking, all of the energy from the blade pouring into it's head. The beast fell over, dead. The lightsaber, out of power. Kouta stepped up to the slain monster, lighting two blades on one saber. He tossed his saber into the air, it spinning into a rather large buzzsaw, before launching high into the air, falling down, past terminal velocity, onto the creaturs neck, the momentum the blade gained from it's flight giving it enoguh force to decapitate the corpse, "A little keepsake..." Kouta said, Hoisting up the massive head with one arm. "Go into the cave now, find the crystal, both focusing and color, that speaks to you the most." Kouta said, turning, "Afterwards, meet me back at the monastery for the completion of your training." Kouta started to walk away, "I'll be taking a shower and..." he looked at the head he carried, "Preparing." Kouta waved slightly with his free hand, before he was gone.

lando and tahoma took a deep breath. that was there first real battle but the scary thing is that it is the first of many. as there master left they looked over to the cave that stretched before them. they began to walk forward into the dark cave. they can feel the force within the cave. but all so something that each of the brothers felt calling to them.


lando and tahoma reached light. there were crystals shining from the stones and stalagmites and the stalactites of the cave. lando walked over to a a rather large group to the far left. this group glowed with a dark rainbow of color. he felt something within this group calling to him. practically screaming. he reached forward a touched a pure clear crystal that was long and slendor. it was practicality ice. for it was so see through. when he made contact he felt the force as if it told him. bingo you found the right one. with in the same pile there was a red crystal. and lando felt the same thing. and he knew he had found his crystals.


tahoma felt the force pulling him to the far right corner of the cave.
He turned towards it and walked slowly towrds a light only he can see. The closer he got the light got brighter and brighter and this heavy felling in his chest got heavier and heavier until he came across 4 bright lights and a flash happened as bright as the mid day sun blinding him for a moment when he can see once agen he sow 4 crystal's one a green sphere perfectly round by fractions of an inch and so smooth you could not fit a razor between each crevice and it had a green glow that reminded him of life it's self and the other was a blue diamond shaped crystal with a blue sparkle like shimmering water he new thy where his color crystal's.
and he also saw 2 long yellow crystals with what looked like electricity in side of it and he new thy were his focus crystal's as if thy where speaking to him he new thy belong with him



ooc: (i gave him the crystals for 2 lightsaber's becuss he fightes with a speer and he mighte lern a dual wealding style).

they then returned to the monastary to meet with kouta

 

[Kouta]

Kouta was in the training room once more, the same he was trained in, and the same he trained his students in. The room did have sentimental value to him, but the main reason he stayed was he couldn't bring himself to tear up another room as he did this one. In the corner, a piece of armor, currently unfinished, but the appearance was slightly menacing, but had a feel of strength to it.

He looked up at his students as they walked in, battered, tired, the long trek most likely harder than it was first running out there, "It seem's you are ready, you both learned exceptionally quickly, work well together, are extremely adaptive, and have earned my trust as a teacher, and as a brother in arms. I stand before you now, and state with full confidence that you are ready to craft your saber. Now, your lightsaber, or lightsabers, are extensions of yourself, craft them as you see fit, and craft them how they will be most useful to you individually. My sabers, are both twin bladed. Reason being, is that i'm a dual blade specialist, but i'm horrid with a single blade. So, if i were to somehow be disarmed, i still have two blades." Kouta explained, "And you saw the style i'm crafting at the moment, Though It's extremely hard, even for me, to maintain the precision needed to wield four blades." Kouta grinned, "Go, you'll find the other parts needed to craft it among the shelves and cabinets" Kouta said, before leaving the room.

lando and tahoma walked over to the work bench. they looked over all the the things thy will need to make there first lightsaber's. tahoma and lando sat down cris cross on the floor. Thy closed there eyes and started to concentrate and then lando and tahoma with the force began to grab the parts and place them together. with the force thy started to put there lightesabers together piece by piece slowly as if there unconscious will's were forming them out of there inner hidden selves. it took them a few hours to figure it out but they did it. one by one thy would place them together until thy had finally achieved there final test. the final result was this.

[Kouta]

Kouta came back hours later, to check on his students, and was pleased with what he saw. "Good, Good." he nodded, "These are yours, and no one else's." Kouta spoke proudly, "You both have completed your training with me, Soon, you will be off doing various tasks for the council, the order, or the republic. Don't forget all you've learned, and perhaps we'll be working again." Kouta grinned, "You kids still have much to do"

With that, he turned, and left once more, heading for the council. HE had been summoned for some mission to be sent out immediately. Perhaps he'll try to bring along his students, or ex students now, nevertheless, he'll try to bring his two most trusted Padawans.

OOC: well that bout wraps it up, I'll go look for a mission to help yall be promoted,
