lando and tahoma kast (jedi training)

lando and tahoma were happy that they were givin time to rest that whole experience was very tough. as son as they were done lando ate a big dinner. the whole week they rested and trained what they all ready knew in the force. tahoma even made a few modifications to tm-44. when it came time for them to meet kouta they went straight to the forest to meet with him. they saw what kouta was doing and were very impressed. when he struck the trees with lightning lando said "thats incredible" "could you teach me that" tahoma clapped his hands in applause.

 

[Kouta]

Kouta looked over to his students, smirking at Lando's comment. "I'm afriad I don' know how i learned it myself." Kouta exclaimed, "even if could teach you this power, it takes percise control, or you'll end up killing yourself" Kouta laughed, "come, walk with me." Kouta waved for them to follow him, "It was in these forests where I found my peace. There is almost no better teacher than the wild." He looked around the familiar surroundings. "Tell me, both of you," Kouta Started, "tell me the jedi code, and what it means to each of you indevidually."

OOC: you may want to look at the code in the jedi section on this site, its a tad different. From the code u may have learned.

tahoma and lando say it without difficulty. for this is something they were taught to memorise and even say once evry day for good mesure.

OOC: mate this is twelve thousand years before Luke was born, and way before the Kotor series.

IC: "yes, you recited the words" Kouta stated, The yougest of hutt slugs can do that. What I asked is what each part of the code means to the each of you personally. " Kouta tried to explain, "the Code is just words, its the collective interpritations that truly make the code what it is." Kouta's hand sparked with electricity, without our customs and beliefs we are no different from the bogan or force user mercs."

tahoma answers quickly

"what this means to me is that emotion should not be blocked off and sealed away it just needs to be under control emotion needs to be bothe embraced and Des carted and must have a balance between the two
Everyone is ignorant in some way or another. It is the duty of the Jedi Order to continue to educate ourselves and each other and everyone ells around us. what this means to me is knowledge must be sot out in order to understand our selves others and the universe and we must understand all three to reach true enlightenment and be at one with the force"

lando is stumped at this question. hmm what the code means to me.
"all jedi must try and stay in control of there emotions, themselves,and there fears. so that they may attempt to solve the problems around them in the galaxy and acheave are main goel to stop all injustice in the galaxy"

 

[Kouta]

Kouta nodded "You are close, yet controlling emotions can be just as futile as trying to rid yourself of them. It's not that you should control your emotions, but that you need to accept them as apart of one's self, and do not allow them to control you, a perfect harmony." Kouta remembered the lessons he learned from his master Haven.

"And Lando, we are not problem solvers, we are peace keepers." he stated, "Our order has come in the search of peace and the equality of all species, we are no more servants to the galaxy than the galaxy is to us, remember that." he smiled, "Lando, you are brash, headstrong, a little stubborn, but you are very unpredictable. Many masters would say you're a curse, but i say you're an opportunity." Kouta laughed slightly, "I'm sure you studied form VI Juyo, the teachers of the academy should have went over all of the styles with each of you." Kouta turned, taking a few steps before facing the boys again, "Lando, i will teach you the principles of Juyo, One of the three styles I am a practitioner of myself." Kouta sounded proud, activating one of his two twin bladed his sabers, "This style focuses your passions, your emotions, and uses them as a weapon to make your strikes quick, precise, and completely unpredictable." Kouta explained, performing motions and attacks, not directed at the boys, but as a demonstration. Each sweep, stab, slash had purpose behind it, however, all of his attacks seemed completely random. However, the movements he made we're all carefully planned, "You must tread carefully," Kouta stopped the demonstration, "This style is probably the most difficult to master." he explained, "The emotions you wield are double sided blades, they may help you, but if you succumb to these feelings, you will fall faster to the dark side than you can possible imagine" Kouta said firmly, half quoting his old master, but Kouta himself holds memories of ones he called friends slip to the dark side, and turn on him.

"You, Tahoma, are careful, adaptive, you're a thinker, suited for a powerful force user, though there is a time where you cannot avoid a sword fight, no?" Kouta asked, "So, the best style i can think of for you, is style three, Soresu." Kouta looked over his students, "Soresu is a defensive technique, focused on an unbreakable wall of defence coupled with deadly counter strikes." Kouta could not demonstrated it, as he did not study under the style, "Keep your blade close to you, and don't let your opponent past it." Kouta nodded, pointing at Lando, "The sword," his arm moved towards Tahoma, "And the shield..." Kouta looked satisfied, "Protect eachother, fight for and with one another, I told you that you're a unit, but you are far more than that, you are brothers, Don't forget that." Kouta looked as if he finished, "Tell me, How skilled are you with the force, and show me what you are capable of." Kouta commanded.

tahoma smiled "using the force is my strong suit"
tahoma lifts a tree into the air and tosses it straight up with the force. he then throws his lightsaber and cuts it into 4 peaces. he then force jumps up into the air and force kicks all 4 peaces far off into the distance knoking the fruits of the branches. he then force grips them all (about 16 or so fruits) he then pulls the seeds out of the fruits and plants them in the ground. he then force grips a large amount of water and throws it up in the air and it then falls like riane over the newly planted seeds
this action is obviously a metaphor to life after death. there is no death only the force.

lando frowned a bit. well i cant do that he thinks to himselfe :( because lando is not very good at weal-ding the force. he has a good enough connection to it but found it more difficult to learn it then other students.
"so you gona do what i did lando" tahoma said with a condescending attitude provoking lando to do better. "nothing so fancifull i asure you" no one likes a show off he thinks to himself "heere we go"
lando then gathered energy and force pushed a couple trees knocking them out of ther roots and sending them flying.. it was a bit reckles but it worked. he then grabbed a boulder and smashed it into a pile of pebbles. and lastly lando then force charged into a metal box that was left on the forest floor. he punched it into the air and then force jumped and kicked it back down to the ground

 

[Kouta]

"Well it would be a bit more impressive if these trees we're full grown," Kouta laughed, "your demonstration drained you though" Kouta remarked, "you expended far too much energy with that little show." Kouta raised his hand, both boys lifting into the air. "I doubt you have enough left in your reserves to break free of my grip." Kouta's grip tightened, before he released the two, "In any case, we're spending a week out here, Namely, out there" Kouta pointed out towards deeper in the wilds. "Come, it's a long run." Kouta took off in a rather fast paced jog.

The group ran for a few hours, the sun starting to hang low, "Here we are!" Kouta called happily. They we're at a small waterfall, the same Kouta was taken to by haven when Kouta was still a padawan. The entirerea was serene, your training of the mind begins here... Tomarrow! For now, Lando, gather food,hunt, gather, your good at this type of activity, Tahoma, build a shelter." Kouta commanded.

after ther few hours of running they finally reached there goal. they both thot the area was very beautiful. kouta told them lando to gather food, hunt, "ok" he said and darted off into the forest. tahoma thot for a moment on what he was told.

tahoma made rope out of vine's and used it to bend down the branch of a rather large tree and used it as a roof he then fashion a tarp out of leaves and vine and tossed it over the branch and then he made more rope that he used with sharpened sticks to tie down the tarp making a large tent for 6 let alone 3 ( ooc:good anough for you or do we need a pool to lol)

lando went straight to work. he searched for tracks and soon found tracks of a animal and follows it. he leaves a mark on evry tree so that he could find his way back. so then once he catches up with the creature he identifies it as a Blase tree goat
(ooc:sry but the best animal i can come up with that can possible be on tython there is not much info on animals)
ic:lando slowly and carefully walks closer to the beast. he then quickley turns on his lightsaber. witch the sound distracted the stupid creature. and then jumped into ther air and killed it with a downward stab to the rib cage. "i am sorry" he said as he pulled his blade and shut it off this all took him hours to track down the creature but he found something and took it back to camp. "im back" he said dragging the poor creature by its hind legs.

 

[Kouta]

Kouta watched as Tahoma fashoned a rather large tent "quite resoursful of you" Kouta remarked, "However, how well defended is if against the laeger beasts?" He asked, laughing slightly. You two will stay. In there, Ill be sleeping up there, Kouta pointed up to a hammock fashoned within the branched of the tree, Kouta having made it his last stay in the area.

"You burnt the meat" Kouta called, looking at the lightsaber wound in the goat's chest. "Clean it, cook it, I'll be back, don't follow me.
And with that Kouta left the two, walking away from the serene waterfall, deeper into the wilds. Within the vegitation, Kouta cleared out an area. He pulled out a small urn from his pack Setting it before a small monument revealed after the vegitation was cleared away, "I can't think of a better place." Kouta spoke softly, "Welcome home." Kouta stood, moving to the side, floating in a meditation shortly after.

"atleast i wont get rained on" tahoma joked after koutas coment. when lando got ther and kouta told them to stay. lando shook his head "he really trusts me"
lando watched as kouta walked away. "ha dont follow you. well that is wishful thinking when it comes to me" lando then began to walk twards the direction kouta went.
"but he told us to stay and...":"tahoma do you allways do what you are told" tahoma looks at lando with a angry glare "haha ok dont answer that quistion" lando then continues and leaves the encampment. tahoma watches as his brother leaves. "hey wait a moment. dont leave...damit. hey wait up" tahoma then follows his brother. they walked for a few minutes befor finally they cached up with kouta. when they finally reached kouta they see him floeting in a meditated state.

 

[Kouta]

Kouta heard them coming far before they reached him. As the two came close They we're lifted off of their feet, both of them floating towards Kouta, "I believe i told you two not to follow me." Kouta's voice seemed to echo in the state he was in, "The order of master and apprentice is that the students listen to the master, no?" His voice, while altered, beared no emotion, no anger, no grief, no happiness, it jut existed as it was, "Sit, If you have come this far, this might as well be a productive trip." Kouta released them, waiting for the two to sit.

the two were a bit startled but just the same surprised he was not angry. once released tahoma and lando sat side by side in front of kouta

 

[Kouta]

"Close your eyes, and just feel what is around you. Reach out past yourself, hear my heartbeat, your own heartbeats, the slow breath's i'm taking. Listen to your own breathing. Remove these senses, take away your smell, sight hearing, taste, and physical touch. Rather than observing the world around you, feel the force flowing through each and every life form and object. Find your peace, to be one with this energy, there must not be anything stirring within yourself."

"Once you can feel the force around you, allow it to flow through you, peacefully gather the energies from the life around you. Do not take, but guide, guide the flow of force through and into your body, let it rejuvenate you, empower you, guide you, assist you. Become a body of force, use it to your whim, but do not abuse the power granted to you. Such is the basis of force valor." Kouta taught, projecting the same feelings he once felt when he first learned of valor. "With this technique, you can restore energy, boost your own, sharpen your focus, and possibly gain the edge you need to survive." Upon finishing his lecture, Kouta took a deep breath, the flow of force energies around him fueling his body once more. "Master this technique, no matter how long it takes, for it can save your life, as it did mine." Kouta stood from his trance, observing his two students. seeing how they react to the force around them.

tahoma and lando listen and then do what kouta tells them. tahoma and lando let go of all senses and block off all sounds and distractions. ounce they feel the force they allow it to flow through them. they peacefully gather energy of all the living things that surrounded them in this beautiful place. they start to feel the rejuvenating energy of the force. they feel the soft warmth of it as the force begins to give them focus as they take deep breaths and gather the force. they can sense themselves and all the nature around them in perfect harmony. it was a truly wonderful feeling. it made them feel more confident and energized. they felt in sink with everything around them. they were relaxed and focused.

 

[Kouta]

Kouta nodded, hi students learned quickly. "Once you master this, it will become second only to breathing. The run earlier, was meant to tire the two of you out, once this becomes second nature, you can be active for much more than that. Pushing your body to the limits." Kouta thoguht for a moment, with his own experiences using this technique, "There is a drawback to this though." Kouta added, "your body may be energized, but it may not be in the condition to handle the continual stress you may put on it. Long story short, your body may break before it gives out." Kouta seemed satisfied with his student's learning abilities. "It is with a heavy heart, that i tell you that this technique is the extent of what i can teach the both of you at the level you are at. You know how to augment your speed, and jump, you've learned telekineses before i mett either of you." Kouta said lowly, "However, it is now that I aid the both of you to refine your skills, and see if you are up to the final task I wish to complete with you." Kouta grinned. "Both of you, collect as much energy as you can to empower your body and mind, Lay down your sabers, and come at me, hand to hand, see if you can match me." Kouta called to the both of them happily, walking away from the memorial, lest damaging it unintentionally.

lando and tahoma look at each other. they were a bit discouraged due to how bad it was last time. lando still has the scars from the burn on his right hand. and they will probably never go away. but such is the trials of a jedi. lando already excepts his new scar with gratitude. and uses it as a reminder of how much better he will become thanks to the hard training they will endure at the hands of kouta. they both get ready to strike. and now with there new found energy they strike! lando does a couple of low kicks at the shin and thigh area hardly connecting due to his masters quick reflexes. all thou he at least managed do make contact 2 times with minimal damage. he then does a round house kick towards koutas head. tahoma then takes his chance and punches at kouta with 16 quick jabs towards koutas rib and chest area. he only managed to hit him once in the rib. kouta didnt even flinch as he made contact and then went for a powerful upper cut.

 

[Kouta]

OOC: Mate, don't auto hit, its a peeve of mine. I only did it to demonstrate the master pupil difference, and I let you know I was doing it. In a normal fight no saying you hit the other person's character. Ill let it slide, with an equal hit back to your charries, but after, no more. Just remember that.

IC: Kouta still held back greatly, trying to gauge the level his students reached. What Tahoma mistook for an impact, was Kouta switching from dodging to kicking Tahoma's legs with matching force. Kouta deflected most of the blows, but broke his own defense, curious as to the force behind Lando's punches. The impact was decent, minor bruising. "Ok, my turn..." Kouta slammed a fist into. Lando's stomach Knocking him in the air, With a quick Jump, Kouta span, slamming his leg into Lando's side, sending him tumbling to the side. While still in the air, Koutà used the spin of his kick to turn, sidekicking Tahoma in the chest, sending him rolling backwards.

ic:lando hit the ground very hard. landing on a patch of rocks. "ooow" he screached. he then got up quickly and used the force to jump through the air toward kouta. with a ready and arched kick (lol Bruce lee kick bitches XD) tahoma rolled into a pond and then quickly swam up to the surface grasping for air. "well that wasn't fun" he said as he regained his composure. tahoma then swam to shore. tahoma got out of the water now muddy and dirty. tahoma hoped that the wet clothing does not hinder him in combat but this does not matter now. he run towards kouta and went for a right hook aimed at koutas head!

 

[Kouta]

Lando, being the first to attack, momentarily took Kouta's attention. Kouta grabbed Lando's leg, using his own attack force to toss him aside, so Kouta could focus on Tahoma. Kouta slslammed the back of his hand on Tahoma's bicep, to block the attack, before thrusting his other fist towards Tahoma's neck, such a blow would disable him for a minute or two, if it hit.
