lando and tahoma kast (jedi training)

lando was anxious. he was to finally be a padawan. the years he spent as a aprentice will finally come to a end. and his hard journey as a padawan begin.
"now comes the day that my training really starts" he says in excitement.
he was told to wait in the courtyard of the temple. he sits on a bench waiting impationtly buying his time by observing his seroundings. he looks at all the exotic aliean flowers and plants that decorate the courtyard. he watches as other students and jedi come and go as they please going about there daily buisnes. he even checked out a very pretty girl that walked by. yes such things are against jedi beleafe but he is a young man. landon allways found the jedi ideals on emotion and love to much to swallow. he never found it rite for peapol in the order to rob themselves of familly and love. he cant even count how many times a master had to tell him
there is no emotion only peace. learning the wisdom of the order was allways tough for him. espaicialy the code. but he trys. and now here he is waiting paytiontly for his master to be.
"he is late... and tahoma is late to. hopefully they get heer soon"

 

[Kouta]

"I must say child, for one who is observing so much, you are quite narrow visioned." Kouta's voice could be heard from behind Lando, "I have been here for quite some time, yet you call me late, were your eyes so focused on that young girl?" he asked, laughing slightly. "you seemed stressed, relax a bit, being a padawan isn't as great as it seems, the real exitement comes after you are knighted, then you can train your own students who would rather be slumming it with any pretty lady they like," he joked.

"Come now, i have a room already, your training begins there, and your friend as well, if he can find us, shouldn't be too hard." Kouta led Lando to a rather large training room towards the back of the monastery. Ironically, it was the same room Kouta himself trained in as a Padawan. "So, what is the name of the first of the two i will be teaching this fine day hm?" he asked, Kouta, lighthearted as always, though analyzing the boy that stood before him, he was young, brash perhaps. Probably wouldn't question his groin if it tried to lead him to the nearest twi'lek dancer.

"oh ah sorry master" lando said quickly in embarrassment. "well its just like you too make a fool of your self lando" tahoma said. lando meant to fight back but considering the circumstances he did not. kouta told lando to relax and he did just that. lando and tahoma followed ther master to the room. kouta asked for there names. "i am tahoma kast. i am one of the most skilled and smartest to have achieved padawan this year" "and im lando" lando said as he pointed at himself with his thumb. "i am one of the best lightsaber duelists there is" he sais with graite confidence.
tahoma smirks at his brother lando "good at dueling yes but you are not at all graite. strength could only get you so far compared to my speed"
"ya but who won the last duel"

 

[Kouta]

Kouta laughed, "Brothers..." he mumbled to himself, "Well then, A prodigy and a fighter," he announced, "I am Kouta Hiroke, Do not call me master, Kouta, friend, brother, i do not care, just not master." He grinned, "Well then, seeing as you both are so skilled, How bout a bout?" he asked, Removing the cloak he wore, showing he is in possession of two twin bladed sabers. Kouta removed the top half of his robes as well, revealing the countless that littered his torso and arms. "I always find that combat is a much better way to learn about one another than just talking no?" he said, igniting one blade on each saber, "Don't worry, i'll hold back, don't want to harm the best duelist around or our brightest up and coming padawan do we?" he grinned, eyes locked on the two, standing relaxed, well then... come at me!"

lando gets very excited. "now were talking" he pulls out his red lightsaber and charges at kouta. "aaargh" he swings his sword to the left. tahoma turns on his green lightsaber weal-ding it backwards as usual. he uses lando's frontal assualt to his advantage by running around lando and striking from behind

 

[Kouta]

Kouta smiled, with one blade he deflected Lando's attack, planting his boot into Lando's stomack, sending him backwards. With a quick spin he evaded Tahoma's attack striking Tahoma's neck with his own blade. However Kouta dialed down the power of his blade, so it only left a small burn and a decent jolt of pain. "So the best duelist is incapasitated and our prodegy is dead, and all in less than 5 seconds!" Kouta called, "So would you like to try again?" He laughed, "maybe you won't get entirely beat down this time. Come now, you two are brothers, an advantage that many others don't have, use that advantage!"

OOC: every now and then I will auto hit your charries to establish the gap of power and skill between master and student, but this will be few and far between so don't worry ^^

(ooc:well this is a training thread so i dont think it much matters how you train me just as long as i learn how to be a jedi in the rp and be a better jedi lol)
lando got angry. he always had this problem in life. "ill show you" he runs straight towards him again but this time he makes it appear he is going to strike with his saber but when he is close enough he sweep kicks at kouta. tahoma quickly jerks his head and grabs his neck because of the pain. but he quickly regains his composure and strikes upward at kouta.

 

[Kouta]

Kouta shook his head, "because the same tactic that failed would definately work this time!" Kouta evades to the side, flipping out of the way to let Lando sweep Tahoma with his kick Rather than Kouta, "Such anger! Control yourself boy" he hollered, " your fighting me! Not your brother!" Kouta deactivated his blades, tossing them to where his clothing laid, "Obviously my blades are too much for you, can you handle an unarmed man?" Kouta asked. Unknown to the brothers, Kouta may possibly be more dangerous unarmed than he is with his sabers. He wondered if the brash one would take the bait.

"WHY YOU ARROGANT BASTARD!" lando ran at kouta but was tripped purposely by tahoma.
"fool. why dont you calm down and try working with me" lando gets up. "uuh.. i knew that hehe" he gigles a bit and calms himself down. "ok whats the plan tahoma" tahoma and lando hurdle together for no longer then 10 seconds and then make there move. lando runs and repeatedly strikes at kouta. while he was distracted tahoma within a split second quickly got behind kouta and swung at him.

 

[Kouta]

"You may be better orginized, but the same tactic will not work!" Kouta called out at the charging Lando. Rather than try and evade the deadly blade, Kouta stepped forward striking Lando in the wrist to block his attack, Kouta then grabbed the wrist he struck, and planted his other hand on the inner shoulder of Lando while Kouta placed a leg behind Lando. He then span around, tripping Lando and throwing him into Tahoma before he had the chance to strike, "Is this all? Two boys trying the same thing over and over? Think" he yelled, "find my weakness and exploit it using your strengths!"

tahoma used the force to throw his lightsaber at kouta. lando then attacked kouta again this time attempting to notice some kind of weakness. tahoma then caught his lightsaber and observed the 2 as they fought in order to all so find a weaknes

 

[Kouta]

Kouta bent back, grabbing the handle of the blade thrown at him, litterally catching the blade. With a quick spin Kouta hurled the lightsaber back, a deadly lance, towards Tahoma. He then turned around evading the attacks, straffing around Lando, swinging and elbow aimed at his back once he maneuvered within Lando's guard, making it difficult to counterstrike, much less block.

lando as foolish as he is noticed what had ha pend but instead of making a new plan he decided to turn towards kouta and continuously attack. tahoma saw what had transpired and learned that kouta uses his opponents strength against them. tahoma thot on what to do and decided that they would have to put him on the offense instead of defense. but it is more dificult then it sounds (obviously)

 

[Kouta]

Kouta, quick on his feet, bob'd and weaved around Lando's attacked, "have you not learned yet boy?" Kouta asked between dodges, " your too driven by your emotions, it clouds your judgement! Calm down boy!" Kouta finally raised his hand, forcing it into an impact with Lando's stomach. However, behind that palm strike, there was a blast of the force strong enough to push and pin Lando against the wall, as well as forcing Tahoma off of the ground, pinning him to the wall as well, "You kids coming out of the acadamy thinking you can take on the strongest of the bogan, or the hutts elite assassins, when you haven't learned ANYTHING!!!" Kouta yelled, his voice much harsher than before, "LOOK AT ME!!" Kouta pointed out his many scars, "This is the product of years of hardship, of true pain and strife, what have you to hold against me?" Koutà asked. " Learn to control yourself child, and try again." Kouta released his hold on the brothers.

controlling his emotion is easier to say then do. lando takes a breather and trys to calm down. his bigest problem is the very thing he is allways warned will lead to the dark side. emotion. lando gets up off the ground. "ok try to think" he sais to himself. lando then comes to a conclusion. he was so fixated on proving his swordsmanship that he forgot all about the one thing that can trully guide him thrue all his hardships. THE FORCE. lando concentrates for a moment. tahoma looks at his brother and doesnt get it? "uh bro what are you up to?" lando signals his brother to come next to him. tahoma walks to his brother. "tahoma" lando whispers "i am using the force to concentrate"
tahoma pauses. "this is new" he said in a laughing manner. but truthfully tahoma was impressed with the suden change in his brother. tahoma knowing that this would not last for very long went to his brothers side and started to concentrate as well not knowing what he was up to.

 

[Kouta]

Kouta smiled, "If you truly want me to be your teacher, then you must not falter, for I will break you, your training with me will be harsher than anything that anything out there can throw at you. If you truly believe that you can handle this, gather all of your strength, and come at me. Play on eachothers strength's and cover eachothers weakness. You brothers are one unit now!" Kouta stated, his grin returning. Kouta felt the gathering of the force in their minds, and wondered if their bodies could keep up with their increased minds, and maintain the stress of their bout. " Good, good, you're unrefined, but you're on the right track. Kouta snapped both of his hands, two sparks of flame quickly lit near his palms, the flames we're far enough away so they wouldn't harm Kouta, "come then!.

tahoma and lando quickly charged at kouta at the exact same time.as if there minds were truly connected. they then simultaniosly striked at kouta and then sweep kicked at him. they then gathered the force together and force pushed at kouta. it connected together to make one grater force push at there new found master.

 

[Kouta]

Kouta looked happy, it seemed somewhere he seemed to have gotten through these kid's thick sculls. Kouta flipped backwards, dodging the twin strikes, and diving into the space between the brothers to evade the sweeps. With a roll and a turn towards the boys Kouta launched a push of his own, however it was augmented with the flames he weilded so comfortably. Kouta used one hand against each of the brothers, "come now boys! You must have more than this, there are NO limits with the force!" He called, putting more power into his flame push, his attack consuming their combined push, a wall of flame flying at both of the boys.

lando braiks his concentration to push his brother out of the way of the pyrookinetic blast
"LANDO" TAHOMA SCREAMED AS HE SAW HIS BROTHER INGULFED IN THE FLAME!
when the flames extinguished lando was on one knee blocking his face. his arm was scorched and his robe was all burnt up. lando stands up "dam that hurt" he sais clenching
his burn. lando thenn walks over and helps his brother tahoma up. "you ok" lando asks. "y.. ya" tahoma hesitated a bit. it all happend to fast. and if lando didnt push his brother tahoma. he wouldve bin hurt just as bad or worse. "whats next lando" tahoma sais as he turns his saber back on. lando bows "it is obvios we cannot win this. and we should've known since the begining. so i concede" lando gave up becouse he allready understood the grait gap in skill. "lando...ya your rite. i give up to" lando then stands up. "so shall we begin are training" he sais excitedly for he canot wait to be stronger

 

[Kouta]

Kouta stood straight, "you've already begun training child, through this simple fight you've lerned humility, focus, patience, and brotherhood. Hell, you learned how to die a few times as well," Kouta laughed. "Go now, heal, at the end of the week, Find me outside the forest, we'll continue training there.

When the boys found him, Kouta would be training himself, performing different martial art movements. At the end of it all a large blast of lightning, a pure white in color, arced from his fingers, tearing through multiple trees. However, such a powerful blast takes a toll on Kouta's body, Kouta breathing quite heavily. "Thank you, most bountiful forest, for allowing me to train within you as I am" he said with a bow.
