[Zane]

(( Alright, I shall try something along those lines then. Creativity away! ))

"Yes, master." Jorren said, thinking on his next attack. He decided to use her form as her weakness, he extended his right palm and emitted a force push from it. Attempting to knock her off blance he sliced his blade diagonally at her leg, while bringing his right arm back in and sending another wave of force to his left and right sides. Aswell, he crouched his legs slightly to jump if she attempted to get above him again.

 

[Keinushi]

A barrier formed between the two of them, deflecting the attack to the side, Niva finally activated her own blade to block the attack with her left hand as she sent out another wave of her own force energy with her right to neutralize the attack.

 

[Zane]

"There we go!" Jorren grinned, before making a quick dash at his master and slicing towards her armed hand. He finished this with a quick slide under her legs and popped up behind her, diagonally slicing into the back of her neck.

 

[Keinushi]

Niva used her right leg to kick behind her aiming squarely for Jorren's stomach hoping to stop him before he could attack.

 

[Zane]

Jorren took the hit in the chest and stopped beneath her, he managed to keep his breathe and grabbed her leg with his right hand, sending his blade into her leg. Just incase he swept his legs around him to try get her free leg in a hold.

 

[Keinushi]

Before the blade could touch her skin, Niva pushed off the ground spinning her body in order to loosen her leg so she could roll away.

 

[Zane]

Jorren let go off her leg and aided her roll with a force push, attempting to screw it up he leapt toward her and quickly flicked the wrist of his left hand, sending his blade down into her, again.

 

[Keinushi]

Niva sent out a pulse of force energy blasting everything around her away. The force aided her roll and she quickly got to her feet again, turning to face the apprentice.

 

[Zane]

Jorren crossed his arms infront of his face and dropped down into a defensive stance as the wave of force hit him, he kept on his feet as he slid back. Panting, he looked across at his master. "I see no way of hitting you, master." He scratched at the fur on his chin. "You just jump out of my way or use the force to get me away." He stated, furrowing his brow.

 

[Keinushi]

"I'm hard to hit," Niva nodded. "But not imposable. Your former master Nuka defeated me several times. Give it time and you'll develop the skills necessary to beat anyone."

 

[Zane]

"I guess patience is the key here, or my ability to hold out." Jorren joked, leaning against the wall exhausted from the combat and over using his abilities for force-wielding.

 

[Keinushi]

Niva nodded, while she did not appear to be tired, there was a trickle sweat running down the side of her head. "Now that you've had your first combat scenario, can you think of any techniques that would help you in combat?"

 

[Zane]

Jorren thought about her question, while recovering from his exhaustion. He scratched the back of his head and sat up when he thought of an answer. "I could attempt to foil any attempt of you trying to escape my attacks, you constantly evaded my attacks with jumping over me. Thinking back on it I could of tried to attack when you did that, when you were most vulnerable." Jorren finished, now no longer leaning on the wall.

 

[Keinushi]

"Those are strategies." Niva interjected. "What techniques do you think could assist you?"

 

[Zane]

"Techniques, techniques.." Jorren thought out loud, crossing his arms. "A rather hard questions for me, I have no previous experiences with combat, or lightsaber forms except Shii-Cho. And I don't believe that would help me in this battle.." Jorren said, looking towards his master for guidance.

 

[Keinushi]

((sorry this took so long to post, I got half way through writing it and then got distracted and never came back))

"Well," Niva began to count of various techniques. "There's force augmentation, Whirlwind, deflection, and physical projection. All of which I can teach to you. However, which you choose to learn first will determine whether I decide to pass you or not."

 

[Zane]

Jorren looked suprised at the last thing she had said. Whether I pass or fail? Wow. He thought to himself for paying attention again. "Right, so before I make my choice though, will you give me a short explanation of these? So I have a chance of picking the right one, heh."

 

[Keinushi]

Niva nodded. "Augmentation allows you to increase your natural abilities by amplifying them with the force. Whirlwind uses the force to create a small whirlwind which can trap foes or spin them through the air. Deflection creates an invisible barrier that repels force attacks and Physical projection allows you block physical attacks by making a physical barrier out of the force."

 

[Zane]

Jorren thought to himself, down to three choices, the three that alter my body. He stood up straight again, recovering from the battle and paced around, tossing and catching the hilt of the sword. "I would have to go with Augmentation. It seems it would be the most helpful in any situation, and would help me use any of those powers more easily in the future." He finished, continuing to pace around the room.

 

[Keinushi]

Niva's brow furrowed but she nodded. "Now concentrate on your legs as if you were going to send a blast of force energy from them. Then run."

Niva suddenly vanished from sight. Reappearing behind the padawan. "Later I'll teach you to train your eyes to track others movements at this speed."
