Assassin droids have an IG-2000 space craft having all the same stuff but the following: Seismic charges, Proximity mine layer, Tractor Beam, Proton Torpedoes. And have and added life support for captives that can be activated as needed.

PERSONALITY:
Luck there's no such thing as luck. Jori is all for enhancing his skills. Jori has a love for battle and war. Jori is obsessed with antique weapons and at times is unwilling to use the new stuff. Will do what ever it takes to get the job done even if it means sacrificing one of his own. If he becomes impatient during an interrogation Jori is known kill the person he is interrogating. No one tells Jori what to do he rules his own life deciding his own destiny. Jori does not care who his employer is as long as they pay well. Jori will also take mandalorian tech\armor or clone wars tech as payment. Jori will not side with any one (currently) he prefers to remain a loner so that he can except jobs from all. Will use sarcasm as a way for him to relieve stress.

BIOGRAPHY:
Jori Skirata's home planet is Ryloth. Jori grew up as an orphan untill he was 15 when one of Kal Skirata's decendants named Kad Skirata found him and after taking him on as the keeper of his home stead until 5 years later when he decided to adopt him as his son. At the sound of this Jori gladly accepted and soon there was a tight father son bond. Jori's real name is Shrake Starburst Jori Skirata is his mandalorian name. Kad'buir taught Jori every thing about what it meant to be Mandalorian and how to properly use weapons at least older models as what Kad'buir had from being a bounty hunter\smuggler was clone wars era weapons. Kad also taught him every thing he knew about close quarters combat and a little swords man ship.

At 21 Jori finaly got his first set of mandalorian Beskar armor when Kad'buir returned from a job. 3 years later Kad'buir gave Jori a job to smuggle weapons past the Sith to the rebels who had hired him. Jori succeeded collecting 20,000 credits from his first job. On return he found the Skirata clan home stead partly destroyed! Jori frantically searched the remains for his buir, he found him alright at least his body and a holo recording which explained everything.

"On my last run smuggling weapons for the rebels I was uncovered by a Hutt spy who sold the info to sith I succeeded in my run but I knew it would be my last as when I returned home that day I found two homing beacons strapped to my ship one Sith and the other Hutt. See the Hutt's knew I had a vast store of weapons held at my homestead but could never find it untill now (explosion)! The Sith have come take their revenge, I can but only hope the hutts find me first (blaster fire). I wanted you to be off world when this happened that's why I gave you my latest job. If you continue my business after I am gone what ever you do don't use your real name! I can only hope that you will be able to find this message when all is over. You will always be my son Jor'ika".

Jori then collected all the gear he could before he left Ryloth for the last time ( all of my characters gear is gear he collected from ryltoh). Jori also took Skirata family fortune with him. Jori continued to smuggle and picked up bounty hunting, assassination, and mercenary work but never using his real name. Jori became so prone to using explosives that others started calling him Cinger, Jori came up with the idea to combine his nickname with his old last name to come up with his current name Cinger Starburst.

Cinger will do any job as long as the price is right. cinger will also take Mandalorian tech and clone wars tech as payment also. Cinger has ever since had a hatred against the Sith and Hutt Cartell and will gladly except any job that involves killing ether of them or capturing but is not as much preferred and will some times still kill his prey if they are Sith or Hutt cartel. Cinger in the years of his work has built his own astromech and IG-86 assassin droids with a specail coding that if any one tries to reprogram them it will instantly go back to the old programing. The droids also only take orders from Cinger. No one knows Cinger Starburst's true name and the only ones he would tell it to is his best friend(s) if he had any.

-BIO UPDATES-
Cinger has recently become close to a Sith Acolyte named Tor'Vani after a struggle against a Hybrid Rancor\Acklay. After the struggle a Jawa Jedi named Decki appeared and soon was threatend by Tor'Vani and almost killed if Jori hadn't intervened.

Jori has received a job to Hunt down Tor'Vani and Decki and bring them alive to his employer. He has encountered many different species on journey through Utapau to find the Seeker One who knows of their location. Which has included battling a large Trandoshan. Jori has recently stumbled across the Seeker Ones Homestead, if he will get the info he wants yet to be known.

Well, uh... I suppose I should mention that "Mandalorian" is not a species at all, rather a culture. Also, I suggest you do a little research into the history of the Mandalorians for this site. They've gone through a ton of stuff that would likely be very important to your character's biography; which, of course, then informs your character's personality. Cool name, btw.

Alrighty. So, first off. Hi there. I'm Ashi the Asshole. The latter portion of the name there is why I usually don't post in profiles or welcoming threads, but I like the mandalorians, and you've piqued my interest.

Secondly, before I approach anything in-depth, the mandalorians have been screwed five ways from Sunday, half of which is their own fault. I've got roughly half of what they've done and what happened to them down, but in essence, the jedi were dicks to them, the mandalorians gave the jedi the finger, did their thing, and eventually slaughtered their way across the republic. Then Mand'alor died; the clans fell into civil war because they were all arrogant assholes that couldn't compromise or put old grudges aside. Not too long after the civil war started, the Empire was like "lookit that! easy target that controls half the core worlds!" and then proceeded to invade mandalorian territory. Mandalorians rallied, united, and repelled the assault, then the empire's like "fine, we'll just leave you guys to your civil war" and fell back. Then the mandalorians literally wiped each other out. Just when it looked like the civil war might be over, the empire showed up with hundreds of thousands of ships and said "booya! it's ours now!" before proceeding to BDZ (orbital bombardment until the upper crust is entirely molten) every traditional holding of the mandalorians and hunt the surviving mandalorians down for sport. Today, the hunt has mostly died down, with only a few Sith actively engaging in it, but technically Mandalorians are still wanted dead-or-alive by the empire. There are some survivors of the ordeal, but generally they're a broken people. In fact, it's only in the past month or so (IRL) that the mandalorians have rallied enough to even consider placing someone back into the position of Mand'alor.

So, with the history lesson over, a few book-keeping things. This thread [link] details what technologies are considered acceptable. I suggest skipping the narrative version entirely, as it excludes a sizable chunk of stuff for flavor reasons. Instead, scroll to the bottom and use their summary. As it stands, the only real adjustment I can see for your technology will be the removal of the cloaking device on your firespray, but it never hurts to post a tech profile just to be on the safe side (This thread [link] has the template for tech submissions).

Your armor has a potential concern, since later in his life Boba Fett's neocrusader armor was made from beskar, a substance that might as well be on the banned-from-use list since jedi/sith/generic force users are all crybabies and don't like having to think to kill someone. In essence, if any material can block a lightsaber, it's use is heavily restricted to (at most) two plates/pieces of your suit. Weapons (unless they're built into the armor) are unrestricted, however, so you can have a beskad or boot knife that's lightsaber resistant, so long as you're not trying to go head-to-head with jedi/sith using a lightsaber.

Anyway, welcome to the site Jori. If you could format your huge block of Background text into several paragraphs, it would make reading it a whole lot easier. We have several very good profile templates down in the Role-Playing Help section, as well as an overall guide to character creation as one of the sticky threads there. Take a look around, find a way to pretty up your profile :) After all, it's your character!


As Ash pointed out, beskar armour is a no no. But as you put that your armour is "boba fett style", with no mention of materials we'll all assume it's durasteel. Which, if we remember, was what Boba and Jango wore for the majority of their lives. So if it's good for them, it's good for us as well, so I see no problems.


The timeline of the site is set 1000 years after the battle of yavin, so several of the pieces of tech you have ( the Firespray-31, the EE-3, the Westars ) are, while very in keeping with the Mandalorian Supercommando look, technically antiques. But that's not a critique on your profile, far from it, it's a compliment! It just requires a little more thought as to where your character got these items, although family heirloom is a common enough thing and honestly this won't affect roleplaying your character at all. Just something to think about and it adds some neat detail to the character.

I do not use a light saber only a dark sword.... well actually a very old lightsaber from the KOTOR era. The armor weapons are gauntlet mounted meaning they can be exchanged with other gauntlet weapons.

Also near as I can can tell, you're Firespray is a copy of Slave 1 (not a bad thing really, thinking about doing something similar for my Bounty Hunter). However would also be cleaner to the profile just to hyper-link from Wookieepedia. Just my two cents

6,5 what? CM? meters? feet? 200 what? lbs? kgs? stone?

"Anakin style" so he got hit in the face with three lightsaber blows? Unless i'm mistaken isn't that what Anakin's scars were? If its just in the 'style', then you could just describe them as they appear, which adds a little flavour to the profile.

It's like the quote from Jurassic Park "but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could that they didn't stop to think if they should." Having the intellectual capability to do something doesn't mean you know whether or not doing it is the best move. So, perhaps the better way to describe it is that he's good with tactics but gets ahead of himself. This could be shown in him taking a position, but then moving too far forward and getting cut off. Just an idea.

Pretty decent character. The beskar will have to go, though. Them's the rules, sadly. You may want to put your armor in a tech submission, but I wouldn't say that you have to do it unless there's something truly unique about your character's armor.
