Jan Soammei's Bogan Training

[Emperor Gary]

((Alright.))

After a whole day of training, Jan was able to move various objects using the Force. Wow... I can feel the Force flowing through me. Thank you, master Cabaoth. He said, panting heavily.

[Keinushi]

"Good," Katarn nodded. "Now would you like to learn something else today, or would you like to rest and reconvene tomorrow?"

 

[Emperor Gary]

I suppose there is no need to be hasty. We should continue our training tomorrow. Jan spoke and bid his master farewell, walking into his chamber.

He laid down in his bed, and began thinking. Why... do I exist? What is my purpose in life? Why was I born? All my life was nothing but bullshit. Hopefully I'll find my purpose here... in the Bogan... He thought before going to sleep.

The next morning, Jan woke up still tired from yesterday's training. He got up and walked up to his masters' room, guided by the Force. He knocked on the door and spoke, Master Cabaoth? Can I come in?

 

[Keinushi]

"Yes, of course." Katarn was sitting at the desk in the corner punching away at the terminal. Whenever she wasn't teaching she was studying to improve herself.

 

[Emperor Gary]

Jan walked in. Good morning. He spoke. What shall we be learning today? He asked Katarn with a dull voice.

 

[Keinushi]

"Actually," Katarn interjected. "I like to let my students choose what they wish to learn, it allow me to better understand their priorities."

 

[Emperor Gary]

Hm. That's interesting. If so, I'd like to learn more powerful Force techniques... something like the Force Lightning... Jan raised his eyebrows.

 

[Keinushi]

Katarn nodded. "Something like this."

She began to dance. Her hands glowing with power as lightning flashed from one hand to the other. She began to twirl sending out small cascades creating a barrier all around herself composed entirely of little strands of lightning. She began to slow, releases less and less lightning until she was standing still and no longer launching lightning. "Its quite easy once you learn what your doing."

 

[Emperor Gary]

Jan looked at her dancing with a stern face. So... can you teach me how to torture my enemies excruciatingly until they scream for death with Force Lightning? He asked his master.

 

[Keinushi]

"Why use lightning for that?" Katarn asked, puzzled. "Why not a more painful technique that does less damage to the target?"

 

[Emperor Gary]

Well, nevermind, I'll have you teach me the art of torture later. Jan said. Now teach me Force Lightning.

 

[Keinushi]

((You literally boil their blood! ^_^))

"At first aim in front of you." Katarn demonstrated. "The concentrate on the path you wish it to follow, now remove the force from that area."

A lightning bolt the width of an arm flew from her fingers and slammed into the opposite wall, scorching it. "As your power grows you'll be able to refine your aim and even curve your attacks."

 

[Emperor Gary]

Jan extended his arm and began concentrating. Suddenly, something lightning-like flashed in the air. Hmm... this ain't it. He tried and tried, but only flashes of lightning appeared.

Then, he began using the Force much harder, and somewhat of a lightning stream appeared. I did it! He said and looked at his master. This is hard... I'm gonna have to practice this. A lot.

 

[Keinushi]

"It is definitely an easy to learn, tough to master technique." Katarn nodded, punching some keys into her datapad. "Anyways, what technique did you want to learn next?"

 

[Emperor Gary]

Force Choke. Jan smiled. It's one of my favorite Dark Jedi techniques.

 

[Keinushi]

"Force choke is really just telekinesis on the neck." Katarn explained. "There's nothing really special you need to learn to use it."

 

[Emperor Gary]

Oh, ok. Well then, today I would like to practice those Force Powers to a better level, under your supervising. Jan looked at his master. Is there anything, like a dummy or something, on which I can practice Force Lightning and Force Choke? He asked with an excited voice.

 

[Keinushi]

Katarn clapped her hands twice and a slave entered the room. "He should be sufficient, no?"

 

[Emperor Gary]

Jan smiled. Perfect. He said and began using telekinesis on the slave's neck. It was hard at first, the slave wouldn't rise in the air, so he continued practicing Force Choke and Force Lightning for the whole day.

After a day of training Katarn dismissed the third slave to have joined them, ordering he take the other two with him when he left. "Now, are you ready to move on to a new technique?" she asked drawing her datapad from her belt.
