His name is Veral Anati, he wont be like the rest of the pirate's, but he still should be useful to them. Also, I will think about making a character for the Shade, but the name makes me think of the Shadourians, and I miss them.

I remember them. I was going to join them, but they stopped, so i made a new version of them.


Oh, and what do we do about Pirate raids on NPC's? i have someone to play the enemy, but do we need a GM too?

The Echani were/are a race and culture, not a faction per se.

The Echani are like a human offshoot though, I think. They used to be human, but went off on their own and became their own race.

Then they're not a faction...we don;t have factions for all the other human offshoot races do we?

No, but I want to make one for the Echani becaue I find them to be very interesting. I would be able to develop their customs and they did eventually become a small faction in the old Republic prior to the war with the Mandos.

Anyone interested in helping me start a sort of detective agency? A brief description: it is a small organization that accesses and evaluates situations in locations that would be too fragile for even Jedi to look into without causing a ruckus. They use their smarts in order to assist in the arrest of dangerous, shady individuals and are contactable by Galactic Republic, especially the Supreme Chancellor.

Thinking about it for a moment, they would probably be rivals with the Bounty Hunter Guild...

I'm currently working on a shady corporation sorta deal. Not evil, but certainly not goody two-shoes.

Basically, think Umbrella corporation, but not stupid.

So yeah, at the moment, it's still in development, but i should be submitting it for review shortly. In fact, having checked the guidelines, i could be putting it up for approval very shortly.

Basically, what is required is a show of either interest or support. At the moment, mercenaries are required, pirates (either ex or current) are perfect candidates. We are also on the lookout for other candidates for more... delicate... operations.

industrial espionage. espionage in general (It's a fun word...). assasination, sabotage, blackmail, ransoming, abduction...

Basically, any and all of the dirty tricks employed by the less morally rigid of those in the business world.

If that tickles your pickle (pickle not required) then perhaps we can talk further...

If it's a reply you're after so desperately, give it some time. Some people do have lives outside of this site. I know it's hard to believe, but it is actually possible...

And, your services may well be acquired. We shall have to do a trial run. At some unspecified point in the future.

It was formerly a mercenary army, yes, but now it is a security company, so it serves a specific type of customer. Though I suppose it would still be a mercenary faction, why do you ask?

First off you would already have an opposing faction to work against *cough* Sailo Inc. *cough* and I don't think you could make a cool enough name for one. Why don't you just join Sailo anyways?

What all do we need in order to make NPC factions? I am hoping to have a couple of threads involving a faction of only NPCs and they will have a bit more structure than just a bunch of pirates.

Previously approved factions are still good to go. I'll be having a look over Arc's technology though. I've planned to do so for a while, I've just lacked the time to give it the attention I want to give it.
