Please refer all questons regarding the rules, as well as any ideas or faction creation here. I will check this thread as often as possible to make sure the number of unapproved factions remains minimal.

This is not, however, an area for you to post drafts of factions. If you so wish to do so, PM me with a draft of the faction - please omit all images so the message loads faster.

Also, please be sure to read and familiarize yourself with the Independant Factions Guidelines - the less stupid questions I have to answer, the more actively I will involve myself in this thread.

Thanks for the rules in particular have to go to Enishi and Solus - without their contributions, we'd still be a long way from having the Independants board set up.

Can I begin to write up a history of a Force Sensitive, Neutral faction (See Below)?

This is essentially the transposition of the Twilight.

It will include all the same members, if they are willing, at their current ranks. The faction will be based on the idea of a one time Jedi becoming disillusioned with the order and leaving to teach any Force sensitives he can of an in between path, neither truly light nor dark, although with an overall good purpose to the faction. He would continue his studies of the deeper mysteries of the Force from a holocron he has obtained, but would start off as any other knight. Any other details you need now, or can I write up the history?

A pirates faction would go under mercenaries or other, depending on what they do.

Sounds like a good idea. I don't think I'd create another faction, but I'd certainly be interested in joining.

I hope somebody does. For one, so Klaar can work for somebody, and, two, because the business will be profitable in this era, it's basically going on in the outlying regions and creeping inwards.

Can I make the Matukai? (Wow I sound like a six year old.:p) I was bassically going to start as the founder of the order and then have her train others and become a small Force sensitive faction. They wouldn't be Jedi break offs or anything because they would begin training way later than Jedi and study different philosophies.

The Matukai aren't canonically formed for around another ten thousand years. However, if you can give me a decent explanation, I might be lenient.

Honestly though, I don't see the point of making a matukai faction - the likelihood of you getting three members in a group that, for all intents and purposes functions similar to the Jedi, imo...is quite low.

May two be a possibility for the future? I like the idea of some kind of slavers/criminals. And no-one else has volunteered to try something. But hopefully they will I suppose...it's not really a tiny niche.

I'm not going to say no, but i'm also not going to say yes. Ask me once we've actually started RPing in the new timeline.

Yeah I thought that was the case, but the Matukai are different they focus more on physical strength and are less leniant against those who don't agree with their veiws and they are less likely to sit back and watch the Alsakans try and usurp Courascant, but they wouldn't be as dark as the soon to break off dark Jedi. Not to mention more could join without making it a super powerful main faction so it couldn't control worlds and actually be too much of a threat, and they wouldn't fight against the Jedi even if they didn't see eye to eye. Besides I know Ols will join and I'm waiting for a reply from ruukil who initially expressed intrest in joining, but couldn't because he was in the Midnight Men and hopefully others would join. So if you could find it to let me have the Matukai thet would be great.

I know what the Matukai are, but you still haven't explained why they would exist ten thousand years before the great Sith war, which is when they were originally beleived to have been founded.
