Raising, up to give this moment the respect it deserved, Taruna took the hand of the young noorian "Deal. But do not assume that I will be knight first, your ability to learn is quite high. Also, we will remain friends, I don't want either of us diminish this by calling the other Master all out of the sudden, okay?"

Taruna enjoyed the moment, until she had to smile and probably ruined the moment in saying cheerily "And now, please go wash the color off your face, you should not sleep on ink-soaked pillows, bad for the social interactions and such"

She of course would only wait a minute or so to tell her this was just a joke, but she would try to keep her face burned into her mind

"Deal. But do not assume that I will be knight first, your ability to learn is quite high. Also, we will remain friends, I don't want either of us diminish this by calling the other Master all out of the sudden, okay?"

Aeryun smiled and shook her hand in a definitive shake. "It's a deal....friend." It was nice saying that. She could count on Taruna to help her, no matter what came across their paths. Aeryun hoped that their lives would continue to intersect for a long time.

"And now, please go wash the color off your face, you should not sleep on ink-soaked pillows, bad for the social interactions and such"

Then, the moment was ruined and they were back to pranking one another. Aeryun bolted upright and began to tap at her cheeks trying to feel if there was anything on her face. Of course she wouldn't be able to see the ink so it did her little good. "Taruna!!! Why would you do that!!!" She suddenly launched herself into Taruna, and began to tickle her sides. It was the only weapon she could use and Taruna was stuck in her chair so she couldn't escape.

The Chiss woman's eyes widened when the Noorian launched herself at her and indeed she tried to get away with a loud "EEEK!", but it was too late, she was too slow this time. Caught in the merciless solidity of the chair behind her, attacked by Aeryun's fingers in front of her she had no escape possible and had to endure that "Ahahahaha.. stop" she tried to en this, but that usually was not the way it went. At the end, she had to raise the flag "okay, okay! haha, there's no ink! I pulled your leg!"

Aeryun laughed as she assaulted her friend with playful tickles. All her worries and cares went away and the two of them were just enjoying themselves. Well, Taruna probably wasn't. But still. When Taruna surrendered Aeryun would stop and stand back up. She pointed a finger at her friend and said in a joking tone, "Let that be a lesson to you."

It needed a few seconds before the defeated padawan got her breath again and while speaking "It will be. Never sit in a chair when pranking you" she grinned and moved towards the docking bay, as the ship would do the landing fully automated. While passing she tugged the sleeve of her norrian friend and hoped she would follow. This would be way less fun when she was not around.

"Let's go and get me a shiny little ship, shall we?" she spoke up with a cheery voice, her excitement rising with each second they were closer to the 'trash planet'.

"It will be. Never sit in a chair when pranking you"

Aeryun giggles at Taruna's response and then skipped alongside her friend; she was proud of her victory and accomplishment . She let her friend lead her this way and that. Even though she knew her ship, she was grateful that Taruna thought enough to guide her. When they got the planet, that's when she'd really need her assistance.

"Let's go and get me a shiny little ship, shall we?"

"Shiny!" she'd repeat with a giggle.

Shiny. Taruna liked the word somehow and responded smiled at her friend while they moved towards the ramp. It did not need long until the ships landed on the surface, and as soon as the ramp was down the young padawans left the ship and moved down from the landing platform, since this one was special in this regard, that it would measure the weight of the ships with and without their cargo to determine their estimated weight of cargo.

After paying the costs for the services, they made a beeline to the next seller of used ships to see if the debris they collected were worth enough for something to fly away again.

cue the entrance of @CaptainWolfgang für NPCing the trader

Not far from the docks was a large building holding dozens of ships. There didn't seem to be any particular arrangement-- they all faced random directions and were in various states of repair. Some of the more prestigious vessels sat in the center of the warehouse, while older and more damaged ships seemed to litter around the walls. The only exception to this seemed to be a few ships here and there that seemed to be stowed away in the dark, despite their good condition. Odds are they were modified, illegal, or possibly even stolen. One such ship, a YT-1300p, might immediately catch their attention. Despite being in the corner, its paintjob was relatively new, implying that it might have been worked on recently.

The owner of the shop was a man in his 50's, clean shaven, who's black hair ran silver along his temples. He was repairing a protocol droid on a counter near the door, and as the pair entered the hanger, he waved and introduced himself.

"Welcome to Henderson Hangers, Number One supplier of ships, junk, and junk ships. What can I do for you?"

Aeryun was hesitant to leave the ship, new environments made her shy. She felt out of place and honestly a little in the dark in such places. The planet stunk. That was the worst. Her nose, being extra sensitive to cover up her eyesight, felt like it was being burnt off. She walked with her sleeve over her nostrils so she wouldn't breathe in all the nasty fumes.

"What a lovely smell you've discovered," she'd say sarcastically.

They dealt with the junker and u loaded the scrap and Aeryun watched from the side as the man attempted to short change her. But Aeryun didn't trust the man and could sense he was dishonest. She whispered a thing or two to Taruna who pointed out his 'mistake', and he quickly corrected himself.

When they left the more polluted of the areas they arrived at a large strip hanger where various men tried to sell their wages. The place still smelt of dirt and grime, but now there was a fume that Aeryun seemed to melt over: engine oil. The faint smell of an open engine made the little girl shiver. She missed watching her father fix and break down ship engines to see what was wrong with them. This was her kind of place.

Still, she was sad. She could sense that there were ships of all shapes and kinds, but she could not physically see them. This made her heart drop. What was the point of having a nice ship if you couldn't see the moonlight streak off the painted sides?

As they walked, Aeryun had a small pout on her face. Taruna, if she did see it, would feel the mood swift around her friend as they walked arm in arm through the dealership. They'd get to their first seller and Aeryun hung back so Taruna could barter for what she needed.

Taruna loved the planet. It was far away of everything, the air was not the freshest but at least better then the filtered and recycled one and she could feel the warmth of the sun. Of course, her norrian sister had a whole different opinion, but that was nothing she could change. Her nose of course was way more sensible, but Taruna could not change that. Looking at the trader with a smile, she presented the encrypted pad with the content of the debris, sorted by material and mass. It was surprising that the metal the training room was coated was on top of the list, but it was a quite resistant against lightsaber attack, and more then once prevented her from cutting a hole in the outer hull. "Hey there, good man. We came to trade these debris, from which a good part unfortunately is mine, for something I can fly in."

Henderson flipped through the pad, making the occasional "hmmm.." as he read over the parts.

"I've got good news for you. The parts you have are pretty stellar. In the right hands, you can do a lot with them. Especially this extremely... dense.. section. Lots of freighter pilots like to buy them, attach them to their ships and whatnot. I have no idea why, but if you asked me the extra thick walls probably hide their cargo. In fact, I have a ship in the corner, the YT-1300p, that's got something similar built into it. Can't imagine what else they're used for. This looked like a one of a kind ship, it's a real shame you lost her." he said as he looked through every last part. A lot of the machinery from the ship would sell well in the right circles, seeing as how few there were.

"We might be able to work out a trade-- these parts for a ship. Let me know if any of these ships catch your eye, we'll talk price, then just tell me what landing pad your current ship is on so I can recover it."

Taruna's ears perked upon the mention of 'something similar' and she waited impatiently for him to finish speaking before she blurted out "Where is this ship?"

To be honest, Taruna knew about ships as many as dhe did about the Empress' diary entries, but the YT-1300 was the same model as a model ship she used to play with when she was little. She loved it and the prospect of flying one was awesome.

Aeryun also heard the mention of the YT-1300. One of the same models that was famously driven by none other than Han Solo. Those ships were like legend. If he had one lying around, even if it was only something similar, they had to check it out. When she heard Taruna ask where the ship was, Aeryun too chimed in, "Yes please. Show us this ship."

Henderson raised an eyebrow at the sudden enthusiasm. "Right this way then." he said, tucking the datapad under his arm and escorting the duo to the YT-1300p in the corner.A pile of junk sat nearby, with droids passing parts back and forth, dropping them occasionally and getting into little fights. Henderson shooed them away and signaled for the door to open on the ship, entering with the two close behind.

"This particular model is imitation, so it's up to speed with modern ships. When they did this imitation line they didn't manage to capture every detail of the Falcon, but you can tell they obviously did their best." he said as he walked through the ship. Although everything seemed to be in great shape, there was a thick layer of dust on everything. He walked them to the "thick walled" room and continued to talk as they entered.

"This ship is about 8 years old, it's had two owners. The first was a collector who bought it off the line-- from there it was inherited by his son who sold it to me as a way to help settle accounts during a recession on his planet. I don't think anyone's been flying it for around 3 years. And apparently the cleaning droids have started to ignore it." he explained, mentally making a note to examine the other older ships.

During the entire tour trough the Ship Aeryun would feel how her friends hand excitedly grab her arm, whispering things like 'meditation room', 'training room' and even 'workshop'. The tour would not even be completely over when Taruna asked "Assuming we wouldcwant to buy it, how would the balance look after tallying out both factors, the debris and this Ship?"

"Under usual circumstances, I'd generally have you sign a contract and stagger out payments over the first few years, but deducting the scrap from your last ship, including whatever electronics are still available... you're only looking at a fee of around 1,500 credits. At that price, I don't think a payment plan is necessary, but it's still on the table." Henderson explained, running the math in is head. The scrap would total to around 24,000 credits, and the ship itself would only cost around 25,000 or 26,000 at most, considering its condition. If it had fewer owners, he would have been able to get away with the original 100,000 credit price, but he didn't seem willing to push it.

"You should know... driving ships like this can attract some undue attention. Pirates, smugglers, even Imperial patrols may want to stop you. You two seem like you can handle yourself, but I thought it was only fair to warn you."

Aeryun would grab her friend's arm and pull her close so she could whisper in her ear. "Taruna...you have to buy this ship. It's like....perfect and stuff!" She was excited as well, and knew just how amazing a ship like this would be. This was the ship of Taruna's dreams and sometimes you just had to take a chance and go for it.

Before Taruna could answer Aeryun looked at the man and said, "We'll take it. We're doing this."

"Well, at least we'd really really love to." The chiss interjected "but, well.." She blushed a little and pointed at the Pad he helt "You are actually holding all my possessions. All I had was the Ship and the things in the Ship."

Henderson ran his fingers over his chin, thinking for a moment. "Well, maybe we can work something out? I'd hate to turn down your offer for the ship just on the 1,500 credits, but I do have to think about my finances here."

He handed the datapad back to Taruna and fumbled with his jacket pockets.

"Ahh, what the hell. Take her. Your friend here would be heartbroken if I made you leave without it, and I'm not sure I could live with that guilt." he finally said. "I'll give you a 1,500 credit discount because the ship is so... dusty."

Taruna did not take the pad, since this thing was actually representing the ownership of the debris and gave the trader a Bear hug, of course not after a very cheery smile and a formal "Thank you, I promise I won't forget that"

With that settled, the Chiss lady ran off to inspect her new property without even thinking of asking for the Access Codes yet. She was sure the trader would be so kind to give it to her as soon as the paperwork, if there was any.
